I just want to say you guys do a bang up job . Even though I haven't been in my kayak for years . Every time I get a notification I can't wait to watch. It reminds me of all the trips , rivers and friends .. and watching the weather and praying for rain all summer. Wouldn't have traded it for anything .👍🏼
Footage like this is so much better than a lot of the body worn stuff you see from others. Harder to capture I’m sure, and not as fun as just bombing down a river but it’s awesome stuff
Great explanatory segment. Enjoyed the definition of creating such an incredible initial edit as much as the added materials. Initial edit is an all time favorite. Keep SENDING for Legendary footage and sharing.
That first small clip was the best paddling edit I have seen since Fisher's Congo film. GoPro footage is great, but the angles from the shore and the drone truly give a feeling of the size, scope, and power of the river. They give scale and perspective that the GoPro lacks. Not to mention the soundtrack was on point. Well done!
This is one of my favorites, I like seeing how well you guys handle things when it doesn't go well. To me that is where you see what amazing kayakers you really are. I'd love to here a walk through of what was going through your mind going down this river, getting swallowed all the time. It's amazing
Good one. Like recent documentaries I most enjoy the interaction with those filming and explaining situations. Really engaging and gives a greater perspective on things👌keep charging.
I agree with your carnage - there's a great difference between the river tossing you around and getting ejected into trouble or something worse. That run in Ben did looked suicidal. That's too much of a gamble to take. Glad he got spit out, but sometimes it's better to back down to kayak another day. The drone footage really shows the magnitude and ferocity of the river the POV's can't match.
As you say Bren, if we are honest we all like to see you top kayakers getting "smashed" occasionally. Your videos always show amazing shots of kayaking down huge rapids/waterfalls etc whilst making it look almost effortless - we all know its not effortless and requires amazing skills and courage. So its good to see that even the best kayakers in the world can sometimes "get it wrong" or just be "unlucky with the timing" etc, as it reminds us that we are all human and nobody is perfect. So whether you are the top level (like your crew) or down the bottom like me, it makes no difference, things will not always go to plan, but the main thing is not to beat yourself up about it, just learn from it and go at it again (and again....)
We don't surf in on the west coast for a day or two after big rains because you can get really sick. Aren't you worried about what's running in the storm drains and into the river?
Your WAY to hard on your self Bren, Epic footage, Epic Editing... and I am still trying to figure out how the hell you fit such big......cojones... into such small kayaks !

yep filming from side gives you perspective!
the crazy team Piranha edits with 'Bloodhound Gang' soundtracks are classic, sick edit
That gives a whole new meaning to "big water". Great edit and narration all the way around!

I've watched a bunch of Senders videos, this is the one that made me subscribe. Love the authenticity.

I really like the meta talk bout how it was like to shoot the footage. Keep up the good work mates!

This video was awesome! I'd love to see more content like this showing behind the scenes for the wild videos you guys produce. Great work as always!
Glad I found this channel. I've been seeing the videos from Dane's channel but this context is absolutely amazing.
This brings me back to when I was a kid just learning to kayak. Thank you

Great video Bren. Lovely to see you back... FYI I wouldn’t do number 9 forwards let alone backwards

Catch you out there next time mate!
If you weren't such a great boater you'd be building a great reputation as an adventure film maker.
Keep pushing the envelope
You're right. There is no carnage here.
