Painted using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Capri Pink and Pure (under the decoupage).
Annie Sloan warm gold gilding wax to the tacks.

No, don't believe that, I have successfully used regular indoor/outdoor paint from my local Home Depot to paint furniture and have sealed it very well. Any paint will do as long as you apply a good sealant.
