I had the same issue with excessive adhesion to the bed. I started raising my prints 5mm and add a raft. That way the raft gets destroyed instead of the print itself.
Can't you just lower the start layers exposure a bit? I think it's 15s default, maybe 10 or 12 would be enough EDIT : seems like it's much longer than that. The numbers are wrong but the point still makes sense I think
I saw another video where they heated the bottom plate to make it easier to remove the prints. I'd like to know if that works better than what was shown here, as these looked unacceptable for some applications.
I have the mars 5, not the ultra. I had to mess with the settings because the prints were sticking to the FEP. Its crazy you can just use it out the box without problems. If anyone knows how to loosen the build plate a bit because its super close to the screen, doing the paper test, the paper is stuck tight in between. The Mars 3 pro, I had this down perfect.
Good afternoon! Please tell me, there is such a problem, the Lego Mars 5 Ultra model does not stick to the table but remains on the film, the first few layers, and then prints idle. Lagoon water washable resin 8k. the illumination time of the lower layers (4) was set to 30, 60, 120 seconds. I checked your video, the sheet of paper is clamped exactly.
I wish my experiuence opening in was as smooth. Arrived DOA have to wait for like 3 weeks to receive a new motherboard that ill have to swap myself... And funny thing is thats is a common issue. on older batch of printers due to lack of QC
Buy Mars 5 Ultra: geni.us/qsT04XC
Resin Used: geni.us/CMDn
Recommended: geni.us/JustVlads
ordered this last week, this is the best video so far for me being it's my first ever printer
thank you sir!!
I run mine with .020mm slices. I get the cleanest prints I have ever gotten in all my years of printing.
It does seem to run a touch warm though.
it warming up actually a good thing for the resin.

Good thinking I do the auto raft in chitubox

The Bass drop.. lolz. love it..
Water washable resin is just as toxic as regular resin.
The only difference is that it saves you money from having to buy so much IPA right? But is slightly more brittle/weak than traditional resin?
@@alannguyen5050 exactly I have plenty of water and can’t get ipa around where I am. In some countries ipa is restricted to medical
@@Hambone891can I ask wich country are you from?
@@bluepoint5786 Probably UK or some other muslim shitole. He can always use normal arcolohol to clean it.
I dont think that was the point, the point was you dont have to use IPa, water is way cheaper than IPA.
So would this be good for printing action figures to paint on?
Would water work helping to clean up after using the standard resin? Not sure if that'd potentially cause damage or just not work
no, water is only a solvent for water washable resin
Thank you very much for this video, it helped me a lot. 😊
i herd you cant use a flex plate on this mars 5 unless you have a special G-Code because of the sensor is detecting the thickness of the flex plate
I think that’s correct. Wambam has some custom code on cults3d

And how many liquid resin (mili liter) to fill until max line?
800ml, I believe it's what they've specified on the website.
Muy buen video
i dont have a resin 3d printer, dose it realy smell to much having this printing?
The resin fumes are toxic, only print in a well ventilated room. Don't also print in the same room
Depends on the type of resin you put in , some stinks. But yeah dont print where you dont have good ventilation
It doesn't matter if it smells or not, all of them are toxic so you need good ventilation.
Definitely use a proper H&S standard Breathing mask with pad filters, & Not a simple cloth one.
Good afternoon!

For water washing, how would a ultra-sonic work?
Hello I can not find print settings for “bluecast x one v2” resin there’s only setting technical for Elegoo mars pro 2
Hi, so what is the difference between this printer with saturn 4 ultra?
Size
Only the size, they have the same features. They both are amazing
@@bebo6750 and the tilting cover. Other than that they are pretty much the same. Both are great machines. I’m using the 4 Ultra and I love it.
4 has hinged top mor convenient
this one has 18 micron detail saturn was 24 if im correct.so this one has better resolution but its probably unnoticable diffrence
Cant get the network manager to load any tips

9k for a printer? Crazy!!!!
He is not talking about the price, he is talking about the resolution i think (like the detail of the print)
Price in U.S is around $270
