    Bambu filament rolls have an rfid tag on them that tells the printer what color and material they are when loaded in an ams/ams lite. Also it's not a purge block, it's a prime tower, it's priming the nozzle with the color it's getting ready to print.

      totally not true! there is a problem with bed cable for less that 2% of sold printers. They came up with the solution in matter of hours. They are sending cable strengthener to everyone who bought the printer free of charge, whoever dont want to wait for delivery, can print it yourself in less than 30mins. Its also worth to mention that it happens to users whos cable is bumping onto something....

      They sent out an update today saying not to use the printers ("we kindly request that you cease using the A1 printer for now"). Some creators were also contacted directly to either remove videos or append comments saying that it is recommended that no one operate the A1 printer. Pretty definitive that they don't feel it is safe to operate until the problem is fully understood.

    • @ZK-DK
      @ZK-DK 3 місяці тому +2

      @@DebeliChris it totally is true. They stopped all advertising on the A1. There is an engineering flaw with the cable and bed connection. Without a cable clip the cable will eventually break. If only 2% of people were affected, as you claim, They wouldn't need everyone to add the cable clip. I give Bambu credit for their rapid response. Mistakes happen, and they are trying to fix it.

    CHEAP? HERE IS yet another question regarding the prices of PLA filaments in the Brazilian market. Recently, when comparing filament costs between the United States and Brazil, I came across a significant disparity. While in the United States the average cost of PLA filament is approximately 25.52 dollars, in Brazil, this cost is substantially higher, reaching around 127.08 reais on average.
    This price disparity led me to reflect on the accessibility of filaments for 3D printing in the Brazilian market. While in the United States the cost of filament represents approximately 2% of the average minimum wage, here in Brazil, this cost corresponds to approximately 9% of the minimum wage. This difference is considerable and raises questions about the access of these inputs to a wider audience.
    I understand that there are economic and logistical differences between the two countries that can influence production and distribution costs. However, the similarity in filament prices, despite these differences, suggests the need for a more in-depth analysis of pricing practices in the Brazilian market (I may be talking nonsense but in my opinion the value in Brazil should be at least 4% which is already twice as much as the United States and also some companies say that they are 100% Brazilian with raw materials from Brazil, so why this value of 9%)
    I can be one of the few to raise this flag and discuss ways to make PLA filaments more accessible and competitive in the Brazilian market, and accessible to more people. However, for personal reasons I may not directly enjoy this benefit if filaments become accessible to a wider audience. However, I insist and reiterate, I sincerely hope that more and more people raise this flag, firmly believing that a review of pricing and recycling policies for materials that went wrong or leftover printing (returning to that issue of multicolor printers), we will have more people with access to this incredible technology, and nature thanks you.
    BARATO? AQUI TEM MAIS mais uma questão em relação aos preços dos filamentos PLA no mercado brasileiro. Recentemente, ao comparar os custos do filamento entre os Estados Unidos e o Brasil, deparei-me com uma disparidade significativa. Enquanto nos Estados Unidos o custo médio do filamento PLA é de aproximadamente 25,52 dólares, no Brasil, esse custo é substancialmente mais alto, chegando a cerca de 127,08 reais em média.
    Essa disparidade de preços me levou a refletir sobre a acessibilidade dos filamentos para impressão 3D no mercado brasileiro. Enquanto nos Estados Unidos o custo do filamento representa aproximadamente 2% do salário mínimo médio, aqui no Brasil, esse custo corresponde a cerca de 9% do salário mínimo. Essa diferença é considerável e levanta questões sobre o acesso desses insumos a um público mais amplo.
    Entendo que existem diferenças econômicas e logísticas entre os dois países que podem influenciar nos custos de produção e distribuição. No entanto, a similaridade nos preços dos filamentos, apesar dessas diferenças, sugere a necessidade de uma análise mais aprofundada sobre as práticas de precificação no mercado brasileiro (posso estar falando besteira mais na minha opinião o valor no Brasil deveria ser de pelo menos 4% que já é o dobro que os Estados Unidos e também algumas empresas falam que são 100% brasileira com matéria prima do Brasil, então porque este valor de 9%)
    Posso ser um dos poucos a levantar esta bandeira e discutir maneiras de tornar os filamentos PLA mais acessíveis e competitivos no mercado brasileiro, e acessíveis a mais pessoas. No entanto, por motivos particulares talvez eu não usufrua diretamente desse benefício se os filamentos se tornarem acessíveis para um público maior. Contudo, insisto e reitero, espero sinceramente que mais e mais pessoas ergam esta bandeira, acreditando firmemente que uma revisão das políticas de precificação e reciclagem dos materiais que deram errado ou sobras de impressão (voltando àquela questão das impressoras multicoloridas), teremos mais pessoas com acesso a esta incrível tecnologia, e a natureza agradece.

    @alexcavalcanticosta1585 3 місяці тому +1

    First of all, I'll let you know that it has nothing to do with the channel, it's just a rant about the world of 3D printing.
    Today, I bring a different perspective on 3D printers, based on the research I carried out.
    I came to a conclusion that I would like to share.
    I have a comment about the world of 3D printing, which, contrary to what some say about accessibility, is still a world for few. Despite the criticism I may receive for this, I believe that although printers have become more affordable, there is still a long way to go before they become an achievable dream for many people, including myself.
    It's not just the initial cost of the printer that must be considered. An often overlooked point is the ongoing cost of the filament. Just like in the early days of inkjet printers, where the price of ink was an obstacle, today we face similar challenges with filament. Even though printers have become a little cheaper, filament remains a considerable investment.
    It is notable that over the years we have not seen a significant reduction in filament prices. There appears to be a lack of real competition, resulting in companies setting prices almost like a monopoly. Filament quality is also a concern, with reports of poor quality not justifying the investment.
    Another aspect that is rarely addressed is the amount of material wasted due to unsuccessful prints, especially for beginners. Even though errors decrease over time, they do not disappear completely. This is a relevant point to consider, as it contributes to additional costs and not to mention environmental issues.
    That's why I say it and I repeat, cast the first stone if anyone who has never been through this, even with vast experience, still prints with errors and has to do it all over again, no matter the printer or your knowledge, there will be errors and as a result waste of material and input costs. what we need and start thinking about this issue, well the filament should be cheaper or there should be a collection of inputs by suppliers especially those that went wrong or leftovers that new printers leave to make multicolor parts and why not buy back the material, it would help the person who bought it and nature thanks you.
    antes de qualquer coisa ja aviso que não tem nada a ver com o canal é apenas um desabafo sobre o mudo das impressões 3d
    Hoje, trago uma perspectiva diferente sobre impressoras 3D, baseada nas pesquisas que realizei.
    Cheguei a uma conclusão que gostaria de compartilhar.
    Tenho um comentário sobre o universo da impressão 3D, que, ao contrário do que alguns afirmam sobre a acessibilidade, ainda é um mundo para poucos. Apesar das críticas que posso receber por isso, acredito que, embora as impressoras tenham se tornado mais acessíveis, ainda há um longo caminho para que se tornem um sonho alcançável para muitas pessoas, incluindo eu mesmo.
    Não é apenas o custo inicial da impressora que deve ser considerado. Um ponto muitas vezes negligenciado é o custo contínuo do filamento. Assim como no início das impressoras a jato de tinta, onde o preço da tinta era um obstáculo, hoje enfrentamos desafios semelhantes com o filamento. Mesmo que as impressoras tenham ficado um pouco mais baratas, o filamento continua sendo um investimento considerável.
    É notável que, ao longo dos anos, não tenhamos visto uma redução significativa nos preços do filamento. Parece haver uma falta de concorrência real, resultando em empresas que estabelecem preços quase como um monopólio. A qualidade do filamento também é uma preocupação, com relatos de baixa qualidade que não justificam o investimento.
    Outro aspecto pouco abordado é a quantidade de material desperdiçado devido a impressões mal sucedidas, especialmente para iniciantes. Mesmo que os erros diminuam com o tempo, não desaparecem completamente. Este é um ponto relevante a considerar, pois contribui para custos adicionais e sem falar das questões ambientais.
    por isso falo e repito , atire a primeira pedra quem nunca passou por isso ,mesmo com uma vasta experiência, ainda continua imprimindo com falhas e teve que fazer tudo de novo , não importa a impressora ou seu conhecimento , vai haver erros e como consequência desperdício de material e gastos com insumos. o que precisamos e começar a pensar sobre esta questão , poxa bem que o filamento deveria ser mais barato ou houvesse o recolhimento dos insumos por parte dos fornecedores principalmente aqueles que deram errado ou sobras que as novas impressoras deixam para fazer peças multicolor e porque não comprar de volta o material , ajudaria a pessoa que comprou e a natureza agradece.

      You are not wrong.
      But inkjet printer ink is still expensive and will stay that way. Filament spool, on the other hand, is much cheaper and does better than inkjet ink in terms of storage. Inkjets clog where 3D printer just works after long periods of not being used.
      Filaments stored correctly and cared for will do much better. Inkjet has to constantly be used to stay usable.

    Cool video and a well thought out design but you're too easy on the print quality here. This is definitely not good quality. I've seen way cheaper printers print much cleaner.

    Bambu wants everybody who has an A1 to stop using them until they come up with a fix, if you keep using the A1 you are risking a possible fire hazard which could burn your house down so please stop using this machine until a fix has been done.

    For your safety and to prevent further damage to your printer, we kindly request that you cease using the A1 printer for now.
