Cool hair tutorial. I never knew there was such a thing as the 3 barrel curler. Interesting :)
I have the same hair tool. Instead of doing all of the sections with the deep waver facing the same way, I usually do one section with the deep waver one way and then turn the deep waver the other way and do a section like that and so on!

My hair is the EXACT SAME WAY! Brown, really really long, doesn't curl that long or well, really really thick, and naturally straight like really straight!

I think it is important for you to be happy and confident about your hair and the way you look. A few years ago I had long hair but because I found it annoying I cut it short, afterwards I regretted it so much and now I am trying so hard to get it to go as long as it used to. But if you feel it needs a cut, first start of with only a little bit coming off and then if you don't like it you can go back to having it long. Ps. I think you and your family are amazing and inspirational!!
I had long hair once, got tired of it, cut it, and spent the next few years growing it back lol I know it gets annoying but I'm JUST NOW getting my hair back to the length I want and I'm so happy it's back. It does get "boring" or frustrating sometimes but I'm not cutting it again lol

My hair is just like hers such as the length and a little bit the same with the colour. Long hair has such a variety of styles. It's great.

Start out by cutting it at the middle of your torso. It will still be classified as long. Get some layers too.

I'm 16 and i have had really long hair just like yours for pretty much my whole life but i decided to cut it last summer because it was just always in my way and i couldn't do anything with it but when i cut it (not too short) it felt amazing and i could do so much with it! Plus i felt better about my decision because i donated my hair. But remember it's just hair and i will grow back! :)

I have really long hair too! I know how u feel! I cut mine every summer because by then it grew a couple of inches and I hav enough I donate it. I never cut it above my shoulder blades. I suggest just to determine how long its going to be if u got 7-10 inches(that's the least) and if its too short just get ur dead ends cut and bangs trimmed:) hope I helped
Cut your hair! You never know-you might prefer it! I used to have super long hair and I cut it and now its so much easier to style now! You'll look great either way!

I had hair as long as yours and finally had enough as it was given me headaches, so one day I went to my hair dresser and said "Locks of Love" and ended up with hair at my shoulders. I donated over 15 inches of hair and never looked back. Sure there are days where I miss my long hair, but my hair is at the length where it takes minutes to style. Just remember that hair does grow back and others need hair more than you need a security blanket.

Pi cut my stick straight long hair that wouldn't curl to around shoulder langth and now it makes it soo much easier to curl and also try curling with a flat iron

my hair doesnt curl either but i use the wand ,and the wand makes very cute curls. i say you should try it for the girls and yourself

Hey! Just a little tip! The 3 barrel iron works and holds better on dirty hair!! :)
Try French braiding or fish tailing your hair over night. It makes really good curls

Trim it after a time, it helps it grow and theres certain food you can eat to help it. I don't know which.
I know how u feel because I also have long hair and it never wants to curl. I did think about cutting it short recently and then as I was about to I said no. I think when your hair gets really long u get more attached to it. So i think you should cut off what needs to be cut off to make it look more healthier but keep it long.

I have the same type of hair. My hair does not like to curl at all. It's a bit frustrating when I have to go to dances and stuff. My hair just flattens out and doesn't hold anything in it. It will if I add a lot of hairspray, but it still flattens out after like an hour or so, sometimes even quicker.
If you want to do that but not gave wait for ages standing there with your iron, wash your hair and when it's damp, plait it and sleep with it like that. It gets the same effect, it doesn't damage your from heat and it's super easy! :)
My hair is straight to but if you use a curling iron called the wand it works perfectly.

You can cut your hair if you do then you can decid if you like the look if you don't cut it you can feel more comferdale like you said its like loosing your identy it shaped to me but I got use to it now I like the style

you are so lucky to have long hair Kolette I used to have mine to the middle of my back then I cut it to my jaw two years ago and its to my shoulders today but by nails grow 2 inches every week so I guess that makes up for it

My hair was as long as yours and everybody but me loved it. So I cut it, but not really short, just that it made a difference for me, and I feel so much better. I think you should cut and donate it, you would like your hair more afterwards
Trust colette if you have tangled hair and you cut it it is MUCH better it feels weird for the first few days but then it feels cool and belive me i had hair almost to my but and i'm 5 ft!

I cut my hair once and it was so long. I cut it shoulder length. I regret is so bad. I cried and I never cry about things like this. If you do decide to cut it don't cut it too short although because you are a mommy of five it actually might be that much easier to do your hair...

that's funny, I have the same exact type of hair, color, and length, and all i can do with my hair is waves too but I love them! I use a round straightener to do mine it's faster, just harder to get even curls

Katilette, have you ever tried the remmington t-studio ceramic pearl curling wand? My hair is the same way as yours. It's stick straight and never curls but I tried that curling wand and it works SO amazingly! I love it!

DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL MISS IT! You have gorgeous hair and can do many things with it long. Anytime you get that feeling like you want to cut it look back at the photos of you with short hair and your mind will quickly change.

I love your hair. I shaved mine twice for cancer tease arch and if you do cut it you should donate it. I understand being connected to your hair but remember. HAIR WILL GROW BACK. that is what I shave my head and continually do it because I know it will come back.

The great thing about hair is that it will grow back. If you've been considering cutting it awhile, then maybe you should. Not like a boy cut or anything so drastic, but maybe enough to donate if that would help ease your mind about cutting it. You might love it shorter, and if you don't, then it'll grow back anyway!
