I think it's designed for top-and high-RPM power, not low-RPM torque. It's like dropping twin 4-barrels on a small block; it'll give you best power near redline, but you'll loose torque and efficiency at low RPM's. One of many good reasons we don't all run race engines on the street.

@serchmarc The carbs might be SOLEX and the manifold was made by TRD for races. Do you want to install racing carbs on a 3A-U engine? Maybe, now such kind of manifold for 3A-U is not available even in Japan.

ごめんなさい直立エンジンてどんなエンジンなんでしょうか？真っ直ぐ立ってるエンジン？直列4気筒とか横置き（並列）４気筒あとV型とかは聞いたことありますが直立て・・・私が知らないだけかもしれないですね🙇
