This is an edit and sound sample of the AWE exhaust for the gen 2 ford raptor. It took me a couple of hours to install and personally, I think it sounds fantastic. AWE knocked it out of the park with this one. This exhaust really changes based on how you drive, it's just a little bit louder than factory with a deep tone, but when you step on it you can hear the turbo's spool and it gets loud. Also, it occasionally has some nice pops and bangs on decel in manual mode. I highly recommend it.

@@troylogan3653 I like it a lot. There are a lot of trucks, with a lot of different trims. Chevy ppl and Dodge ppl and Ford ppl w other trims (ie: Lariat, Platinum, etc) can all debate which trim and platform is better, but NO ONE says their truck outshines the Raptor except the occasional Ram TRX owner (even they won’t claim “better”; will just claim the TRX is “just as good”).
It sits wider and higher than every other truck I see. Is fun to drive.

They are the morimoto XB headlights, I absolutely recommend them. Super bright and sexy.

I absolutely love this exhaust. It was relatively easy to install and sounds amazing. My favourite part is how it "changes" based off of your driving. If your just driving around normally its a little louder than stock with a deeper tone. If you step on it it gets louder and will have some pops and bangs/burbels on deceleration. I highly recoomend it!
Any drone? Is it tolerable?
@@luissantander6097 actually very minimal drone if any at all. Really the only time this exhaust is loud is when you either step on it or are in manual mode. Minor drone around 2.5-3k

Does anyone else have an issue with oil being burned in exhaust and getting the smoke and odor after idling for a few min?? Has anyone changed a PCV valve out themselves ?
I was also ticked off to find that after being told my plastic oil pan was changed to metal that it’s still the same crappy plastic along with the drain plugs ….. why would they engineer such a truck with cheap components in critical places???? The only thing that comes to mind is forcing us to buy new ones every few years or buy outrageously overpriced parts …. Come on Ford, you nailed it on the design but came up short on build.

I don’t understand if you have a oil leak around the pvc or if is you exhaust that is smoking, but i can recommend a catch can. It going to extend the life of the engine preventing carbon buildup inside the valve tunel. Hope this help
@@cesarbonilla-yx6nh no oil leaking anywhere I can find but there is a very big issue with oil smoke burning after running and the truck is idling. Going to shop day after Christmas so I’ll update.

the corsa cat back extreme idles at a deeper tone and sounds nicer
