Never understood why ford did this, but my 2020 mustang gt was able to switch colors for abient, and gauge cluster back lights. But my 2019 raptor only has a litle blue ambient and thats it.
You quickly mentioned that the previous owner set some things up like the memory seats via key fob. Are some of the other features you showed as a result of those same tweaks (aka via Forscan?). I know for sure the self folding side mirrors is via Forscan and not a factory Raptor option. I've never heard of the auto windows down using the fob as shown near the beginning of the video....perhaps another Forscan tweak that isn't available to a completely stock Raptor?
I found a cool feature at 40K miles - My cam phasers broke! Then at 98K miles, cam phasers broke again, timing chain snapped and the pistons slammed into the valve cover. Had to get a whole new motor installed. Nifty feature for a 85 thousand truck !
@@Mr713ScrewstonTx Yes warrenty covered it. Before you bring the truck to the shop make sure your oil level is correct. As the cam phasers go bad, the engine burns oil. You don't wan't to get caught with low oil. Ford is well aware of the problem with the phasers. It's all v6 ecoboost engines not just the raptor.
@@johnbauer9628 I keep getting the recall notice for the cam sensors I will take it in as soon as I can thank you for the information. With it burning oil its a real threat to the engine.
@@Mr713ScrewstonTx Do you get the low oil pressure warning yet ? Mine was so bad that when I accelerated, it would loose pressure and the engine would loose power. It's like a safe mode. To reset it, you have to pull over, put in park, and turn the truck off and back on. Not good when you're trying to get onto a highway!
I've got it once but took it in to service right away I thought it was time to change the oil. I thought the cam phasers is what made it stall when accelerating.
I was looking for where the different VIN locations are..? Mine was stolen and I think I found it but they swapped out the vins and did the computer so I need to find all the locations on the 2017 Raptor
How did you get your mirrors to fold in when you press lock? I have a 2017, raptor and it doesn’t do that. My FOB also looks different the roll down window trick doesn’t work…
i just bought a 2019 roush raptor and i dont know the code to the safe in the center console. is there anyway of opening it without cutting it open at all?
To Add, the Buttons, another feature, if you press the "3-4" or second button, down from top after you enter your code it will open all doors instead of just the driver door.

I have seen some raptors that have white LEDs and not amber, also what generation is your raptor, there are two or three types of generation of raptors from the same year and there are some that do not have the same thing as your raptor...

I have those codes on my vehicle as recalls and I'm at 34k miles did warranty cover it ?

the window thing should go up if you hold the lock button.. press and hold. my fusion titanium does it and they supposedly have that same feature

My cool feature was the catalytic converter. I have replaced them 4 times up to 100K.

try 0000 it may have never been set. The Raptor I bought had the Ford safe in console. 0000 is the default before setting.
