I remember getting the floating mines glitch when I was a kid and showing it to my friends afterwards. I became very popular for about 5 minutes.

We used to used it in multiplayer..
I tasted that sweet popularity too, also for too short a time. I started playing RuneScape in like 2002 when there were only 6000 players. So by the time 2007 came around my account had the best combat level of the whole school. I was a god among the boys in class. Eventually they caught up tho 🥲
The re-playability in this game was nothing short of astounding.
Gavin Vonhoff In making this video, I really feel this game has stood the test of time, not so much graphically, those character models are ugly as sin, but the gameplay is still solid.

I put SOOO much time and effort into unlocking the cheats and levels! I did all of them though. THEE original speedrun unlocks! The nostalgia is real with this one.
That final one is wonderful when you beat the game and Bond makes out with Natalia. Tilt the cartridge and another page is added to the Kamasutra.

I thought they had some sort of velvet on them instead of wood.
Whoa, I just realised that for the first time I completely understand why the guards turn yellow on the helipad! Basically, the texture for the helipad is actually a black and white image, but the zone of the map containing the helipad’s H is programmed to display white as yellow, which makes the H turn yellow. However, as a side effect any other white stuff that goes over them will become yellow as well. The reason for this is because you could cram far more textures into the N64’s small texture cache, as black and white images only need 1 bit per pixel, instead of 16-bit or 8-bit with colour.
I didn’t know when I originally watched this years ago, but I had a conversation with a developer about how the textures were done, and that gave me the answer. Colours were often added using the polygons, rather than the textures.

Another fun glitch: Start the game with two controllers plugged into your system. Before you get to the end of a mission that has a cut scene, switch the controller style to "Domino" (One of the two-controller options). Get to the cut scene and, while the cut scene is playing, push the button that allows you to shoot. You can shoot whatever gun you happen to have on you during the cut scene! This is especially funny on the Egyptian Temple when you're watching Baron Samedi laughing at you during the cut scene, only for him to get a face full of lead!
The times my older brother came home from school and told me about all of these glitches he learned from my friends really make me smile, especially going back up into the vent we would try that ALL the time! I would give anything to go back to those days.

Know whats great? So many people played this game so much that we all found out about these glitches just during normal play. Probably oneo fthe things that made the game so replayable. You can throw anything at anything and something's going to happen, and its not always clear what until it does. And its never disappointing.

I think the no rockets glitch is caused by all the modems reaching the projectile/mine/other things limit and stopping any other projectiles from appearing. Gun shots just deal damage to a target and launch some SFX.

Vavakx Nonexus normal guns are also called "hitscans" they scan if the player is aiming on the enemy and only then deal damage
@3:43 Be sure your weapons are on full ammo, and fire just your left weapon. Then, reload your left weapon, and inmediately press your "change weapon" button, then press and hold the fire button.
It works like a charm with the "All guns on" activated by the buttons sequence cheat, so you basically can have any weapons combination.
Imagine James Bond doing these things in the actual movie, it'd make me laugh! haha.

My brother's and I would use the floating proximity mines trick in multiplayer and hide them as we played against each other. That brought back some funny and rage inducing memories. 😄 Thanks for mentioning that one!

Worth mentioning that the weapon swap glitch (the Moonraker Laser/Laser Watch) can be done with any weapon in the game. You can mix and match dual weapons if you use the same technique (e.g. rocket launcher in one hand, PP7 in the other).
Also, you can use the two-controller controls (2.3 Domino) to kill Baron Samedi a fourth time in the Egyptian level.

There is just something so satisfying about when your bullets impact the enemy with this game. Even more so, using the rumble pak. No game since has been able to come close to this feeling since and that coupled with the hilarious cheat codes makes me smile every time I play. I can't wait to go home and play it again.
that blew my mind, I've been doing the "paint brush glitch" since I first started playing this game and I always just assumed that Bond was using the sniper rifle to beat people with!
Yeah I thought he was beating them with the Butt end of the stock.
When you equip the sniper rifle, that's exactly what the model is, the sniper rifle stock. You have to go way out of your way to get the paint brush glitch. The standard sniper rifle model is brown and black, not almost all black.

Wow. I remember 90% of these glitches back when I use to play. Ahh the nostalgia.
Man, I remember those days like it was yesterday.. Me and my cousins would go through whole level, with all the cheats, just to see the cut scenes!
It seems like that three-armed thing is just a variant on the mismatched guns trick, which I've gotten really good at.
Also, I remember when a friend and I accidentally discovered the floating mine trick in the bunker during a multiplayer match. Good times.

I remember someone going a step up on that vent glitch in Facility whether he was playing single player or multiplayer. It was a glitch that allowed you to run while you are up high enough to touch the ceiling. Basicly hanging from the ceiling, but with full control. It was crazy!
I remember that cheat you mentioned there with the Moonraker and Watch Laser. You can do that with any weapon. Except instead of having 3 hands, you would still have your two hands. Like when getting the RCP-90 and the Grenade Launcher from Xena. I didn't remember how to do the glitch though. It's awesome to now see it again. I remember pulling it off when activating the X2 RCP-90 cheat and getting the Sniper Rifle at the Dam. Allowing you to using the Sniper Rifle scope while firing the RCP-90. Pretty cool! Sniping with the fastest machine gun in the game!
I remember the glitch at the Depot when he aims at the ceiling. Not the one when he aims at the ground though. I also remember the glitch at the Cradle when he bounces off the helicopter railing. lol!
Most of these of course I had never seen before. Awesome glitches and I'm surprised how many of them I've seen pulled off in person growing up.

Omg! I remember playing this game on the N64. One of the first 1st person shooter i beat. And the multiplayer was great. Playing split screen with my friends and brothers. Man games have come a looooooong way since.
I knew a majority of those. But still, this is definitely one of the better glitch videos for 007
Interesting. They kinda hinted at it with one of the glitches where you have the lazer and the watch. But I remember coming across that glitch way back when I first got the game where you can duel wield two different weapons (as long as they are next to each other in the line up). When I saw the jungle map I thought it was cool being able to use two different weapons so I figured out on my own how to get two different ones by doing the same thing suggested. It was fun using a silver pp7 and a gold pp7 at the same time. :D

Some crazy stuff here I never heard of before. Really interesting.
I had a "3 hands glitch" happen to me in the Deadfall Adventures demo on 360. If you press the button to pull your notebook out and then shoot the chains in the first puzzle, then reload your pistol after the cutscene, sometimes your character will reload his pistol with two hands while still holding the notebook with a third one! :D

Really funny stuff. I watch everything and learnt quite a bunch of glitches, well expect for Pokemon. In fact you explain quite some useful glitches but not all of them (probably because there is too much and mostly because some of them are really hard to explain simply). Still, I'll be able to use that for my own glitch serie (Not taking your video, but the glitches found) M.A.G or G.A.M.E (not sure which one to take)

M.A.G for Mythes Astuces et Glitches (Myths, Tricks and Glitchs in english, I'm doing it in french.) as a wordplay with a MAGazine.
G.A.M.E is mostly the same except that E mean Explication (Explanation in english) and a wordplay with a game obviously.
***** I'd say M.A.G. sounds better. Just my opinion!
I loved playing MP facility setting proximity mines by all of the spawn spots.
I remember doing a wacky glitch at the end of the Siberia level. It involved placing mines or something on the panel to go down near the helipad. The glitch resulted in the enemy face textures cycling through seemingly all the textures in the game. It was very trippy.
The vent glitch! That was my childhood right there!

I'm pretty sure the tank glitch also happens whenever you use the all weapons cheat. I haven't played in a while, but I'm sure I remember using those with just the cheat, not the technique showed in the video

Awesome job with this, It's too bad I don't have the cartridge I grew up with. D: I still have an Emulator though. And don't worry about taking too long for your videos, I'm pretty sure most of the people who watch your videos prefer Quality over Quantity. :D

I am so happy now, for discovering all these glitches ( Except for the tilting cartridge one ) when i was a kid.. Ohh, free time, free time..
There's also a great glitch where you fire grenades into an area an end of level cut scene will take place and then walk into it. The cut scene will play with anyone apart from Bond being blown off their feet by the explosions
I remember blowing up those monitors in bunker and discovering the floating items glitch for myself and thinking that was so cool!

As a kid, we used to trigger the floating mine giltches whitout knowing how, leading to epic MP fight :) I'm so glad 15y+ later I finally know how it happen lol.

I grew up with this game in the 90s. I remember these glitches, some of the funnier ones weren’t covered lol 😂 😂 like some of the NPC bad guys running in mid air and getting stuck
There were a lot of glitches I found on the Surface level. Camouflaged mines that would match whatever object you stick them on, square paint splats, and a few other things that I've totally forgotten :(
4:20 or 4:30 "IT'S A NEW DANCE CRAZE! EVERYBODY SHOOT THE FLOOR!" That one is still good after all these years have passed!

Are you using an emulator to capture most of your footage? It looks amazingly crisp for an N64 game. 5:45 when you show cartridge tilting, it looks more like N64 footage - nice and blurry. ;)
+mrR33 No, you just have to use the right equipment, you can get a decent picture out of most older consoles :)

I haven't watched yet but I do know that GoldenEye is pretty solid, hell even speedrunners haven't found any legitimate glitches that allow them to play faster so I'm interested to see what you found

@ 1:25 Yea, when I was a young lad in multiplayer, I discovered the Facility bathroom climb trick in a magazine. It made for an effective means of escaping to hide from my little brother who didn't know the trick. I'd taunt him from above. Good times.
