@@aaanton11 thanks for the reply, the light was actually off when I started it this morning. Hope you are feeling better after your heart issues. Stay safe and thanks again. Lee
I had the engine light and ran running rough after a flat battery. 302 code Checked the coils and sparks, looked for signs of gasket failure, all looked OK Decided to take out the battery and charge it overnight as the issue only developed after the flat battery, popped charged battery back in, no code and running fine again Check your battery if it isn't the coil or spark plugs, better than a head compression issue!
Does this issue lead to changes to exhaust sound along with the smelly smoke and fumes? I have Toyota Aygo and wanted to confirm if it is the right kit I need replacing to sort the issue out. I have yellow engine light showing on the dashboard as well. Suggestion please. Thanks

I am Previous owner on 1.6hdi c3 and that think was next to the air filter, but here is one one sensor with couple connected fuel pipes. Can you help me please.
If there is no electric primer pump in the tank, you will need to use a separate primer pump to pre fill the system like in this video,ua-cam.com/video/-BJGgW5Zq1Q/v-deo.html link to primer pump is amzn.to/2Y3smx0 hope that helps Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

Thanks you for the great video. I do have one question if you don't mind. My Toyota Aygo is making a ticking sound when i give it some throttle. When idling or driving at a steady spead, you can't hear a thing. Could this be a faulty coil? I have seen some people who had the same problem and they fixed it by changing the coil. I myself also think it's a coil because you only hear it when you give it some throttle and that's the moment the coil should be working. What would your guess be?
@@aaanton11 when stationary it runs okay, i mean, it's a 3 cylinder car haha. Sometimes though the rpm's drop to a lower than usual causing the engine to vibrate and then resets itself to the correct rpm's. I don't think that's a normal thing so maybe it's correlated to a faulty coil? The ticking on the Corsa is noticable when not using the throttle and is also not always in rythm with the engine. The sound is the same tho. So I'm not sure if it is the same problem.
I got a problem on my peogeot 107, out the blue engine managment light started to flash on and off, when I rev it it sounds exactly the way you said it, bubbling with no power.
@@aaanton11 Thank you sir, job done. I changed it myself. I took off the coil plug switch one by one, the one that never reacted I knew it was the dead one. 10ml done the job. Garage was Quoting £150 supply and fit. Coil cost £18.
Hi mate sorry for late comment, my aygo seems to judder and shake when I accelerate also in traffic it will shake when pulling of does this sound like a coil pack issue thanks mate.
Can i ask you someting.is oil consumbtion normal for this engines? Mine has 150 ml every 1000 km.maybe more if i push it on the trip.its normal this.??
yes they can use oil, the manufacturer specs allow for 1litre of oil per 1000 miles, so you are well below that, and if you check out my oil change video on the ago I go into it in more detail, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Mine also seems to use quite a lot of oil. No leaks or obvious exhaust smoke. My concern is that it never used any oil for several years and I got lazy with checking. Oil light came on and it was almost BB one dry on the dipstick. Worried I might have damaged the engine. Certainly isn't as smooth as it once was.
It is possible, you need a code reader like amzn.to/3owSmCG to find the fault if its the sensor there will be a fault code stored, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
All 3 of mine click but on the diagnostic reader it shows cylinders 1 and 3 misfiring..... does this mean both the coils need changed... any help Would be great thanks in advance 👍
Could this also be a failed spark plug. My car has just been in for. It’s MOT and 200 miles later this is happening and the car has lost loads of power and judders after about 5 mins of running when idle
@@aaanton11 as many others have said, thanks so much. The only think that I am questioning the spark plugs etc is that the car feels ‘normal’ at startup for a minute or so. Maybe it’s just because I am driving down slow back streets.

3:17 Hi mate just to be clear you said "if the clicking sound has jumped to the second cyclinder" but did you mean the clicking sound is NOT present on second cylinder? the clicking indicates a working coil right?
Yes the clicking is the spark jumping Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Great stuff! Thank you.
Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
well done mate thanks for that.
Glad it helped Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Just Thanks Anton 😘

Replaced the ignition coil on mine, thanks for the guide! It now runs and sounds perfect again, but the engine light starts flashing sometimes. Still saying cylinder 2 misfire. Are these engines particular about the ignition coils? or do i need to dig deeper?
I would replace the spark plugs too, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Great video, helped me identify the problem but after changing the coil the engine management light has stayed on... is this normal?
you will need one of these ua-cam.com/video/FJMDuWnGMII/v-deo.html to turn the light off Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 thanks for the reply, the light was actually off when I started it this morning. Hope you are feeling better after your heart issues. Stay safe and thanks again.

Good one mate 😊

I had the engine light and ran running rough after a flat battery. 302 code
Checked the coils and sparks, looked for signs of gasket failure, all looked OK
Decided to take out the battery and charge it overnight as the issue only developed after the flat battery, popped charged battery back in, no code and running fine again
Check your battery if it isn't the coil or spark plugs, better than a head compression issue!
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Hi, I have a shudder/shake at idle/low rpm. If I do the test you showed and all coils all work, could it be the spark plugs? Many thanks
Most likely nice easy job to swap them out, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Does this issue lead to changes to exhaust sound along with the smelly smoke and fumes? I have Toyota Aygo and wanted to confirm if it is the right kit I need replacing to sort the issue out. I have yellow engine light showing on the dashboard as well. Suggestion please. Thanks
A Code reader will give you a better idea if you are not sure, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Hello man! Seems like u are a aygo expert. I was wondering Why after i adjusting clutch wire on the car, it went fine for a week now it’s really hard to shift in any gear. Do i think that the clutch is totally broken since this happen?
sounds like you have no clearance on the clutch, there must be a small amount of freeplay in the pedal, I have a video on the subject. ua-cam.com/video/tja3X5lisoQ/v-deo.html
Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 I watched the video but didn't quite understand which direction i should unscrew and loosen the wire and to have freeplay on the pedal?
Hi mate i see you have many videos for aygo c1 and 107. Can you help me for question connected with toyota aygo 1.4 diesel. I understand they use hdi motor. When i change fuel filter. Where is that manual bulb pump to bring fuel in the filter and take out the air?? I was checking around and i can't see it. I am Previous owner on 1.6hdi c3 and that think was next to the air filter, but here is one one sensor with couple connected fuel pipes. Can you help me please.
If there is no electric primer pump in the tank, you will need to use a separate primer pump to pre fill the system like in this video,ua-cam.com/video/-BJGgW5Zq1Q/v-deo.html
link to primer pump is amzn.to/2Y3smx0
hope that helps Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 hi mate thanks for your reply, i did yesterday something like this with electril small pump. But today car can't start again. Once is started can run all day and start every time. But if stay one night after that is very hard. Now is very cold, i suggest that can be glow plugs aswell. Do you how can i find where they are on this engine? Thanks in advance.
God bless you, i think i can fix my toyota iq now. Regards

does the citroen C1 have a timing belt or chain 12 registration can the chain snap like a belt can
Chain driven, wont give any issues if the oil is changed yearly, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
My citroen was running awfully white clearish smoke from the exhaust and fuel out the exhaust charge the plugs tons better now no smoke but still fuel but coils are fine would you suggest o2 sensors next
It wont be fuel from the exhaust, more likely to be water vapour, quite normal if the car is running ok now don't worry, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 definitely raw smell can smell it, presumed it was lambda no fault code but failed live data test so imagined it was because its running so rich
Hi. My 107 has started to get so sluggish and sounding like that but I've just had the engine light come on with fault cod P0011 camshaft position timing over advanced . Any advice? Thanks
check the oil level on the engine, then cam sensor, worst case cam timing issue, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
I have a Peugeot 107 urban twintronic automatic 1 litre engine which at times revs while in traffic but doesn't move. I have to put into neutral and back to fix and sometimes have to turn engine off and on again. Local garage diagnostic shows nothing on the computer. Any ideas
sounds like the auto clutch actuator is faulty, might even be a worn clutch, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
I had that problem once. The coil went bad due to excessively worn spark plugs.
That would do it, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Very nice idea
Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Thanks you for the great video. I do have one question if you don't mind. My Toyota Aygo is making a ticking sound when i give it some throttle. When idling or driving at a steady spead, you can't hear a thing. Could this be a faulty coil? I have seen some people who had the same problem and they fixed it by changing the coil. I myself also think it's a coil because you only hear it when you give it some throttle and that's the moment the coil should be working. What would your guess be?
Do you get a misfire at the same time as the tick, or is the engine running smoothly, Thanks Jeff for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
This video is on a corsa but the ticking would be the same, is this what yours sounds like, ua-cam.com/video/HzB46f9iuy8/v-deo.html
Maybe it's also worth mentioning that ive replaced the sparkplugs a few weeks ago, so I don't thinks those could be part of the problem.
@@NietJeffrey hi mate did you sort this out please
Thank you very very much 👍
You are very welcome Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
I got a problem on my peogeot 107, out the blue engine managment light started to flash on and off, when I rev it it sounds exactly the way you said it, bubbling with no power.
follow the instructions in the video, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 Thank you sir, job done. I changed it myself. I took off the coil plug switch one by one, the one that never reacted I knew it was the dead one. 10ml done the job. Garage was Quoting £150 supply and fit. Coil cost £18.

Hi mate sorry for late comment, my aygo seems to judder and shake when I accelerate also in traffic it will shake when pulling of does this sound like a coil pack issue thanks mate.
Could be, you need to read the eobd codes to be sure, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 thanks mate do you know the link for amazon or eBay to buy the code reader I need thanks.
@@aaanton11 thank you so much for your precious informations and for your time.!! 👍👌✌️
Cylinder 1 is overflowing with petrol past the spark plug when I lifted it!
Try a compression test or it might just be no spark, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Hello I have a problem starting the engine I tested the spark plugs I saw no spark Could it be the crankshaft sensor?
It is possible, you need a code reader like amzn.to/3owSmCG to find the fault if its the sensor there will be a fault code stored, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
All 3 of mine click but on the diagnostic reader it shows cylinders 1 and 3 misfiring..... does this mean both the coils need changed... any help
Would be great thanks in advance 👍
more likely to be the spark plugs faulty if the coils are clicking, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
had the same issue.the engine was running on TWO cylinders :D ... 80POUND in norway for a new coil :(
ouch, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Thank you!

Hi did you know how to set a idle speed in Peugeot 107? I want to increase from 830rpm to 880rpm becouse i have problem with proper starts.
you cant change the idle speed Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
You appear to have the new coil pack on number 2 cylinder - is firing order not important?
I replaced the faulty coil, there are 3 coils, the other 2 are working so leave them alone. Thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Probably it runs so called 'lost spark' ignition...all three fire every time.
Just the coil not the wire.
Yes I noticed that too. Coil one was faulty but the new coil was replaced in 2. Confusing.
Could this also be a failed spark plug. My car has just been in for. It’s MOT and 200 miles later this is happening and the car has lost loads of power and judders after about 5 mins of running when idle
Yes check the spark plugs first, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 as many others have said, thanks so much. The only think that I am questioning the spark plugs etc is that the car feels ‘normal’ at startup for a minute or so. Maybe it’s just because I am driving down slow back streets.
great video mate, mine sounds same. i havent got a engine warning light. did you have one?
Sometimes it won’t come on for a while, just do the test in the video to see if this is the fault, thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻

@@aaanton11 got a Q for you...can the petrol cap lock be rekeyed ...mines not got a locking one and id really like it on same key ...any ideas cheers
@@steveo3002 - Mine has the keyed petrol cap. So it's an OEM part that uses the regular car key. As normal! ;-)
You can get it easily on your dealer. Although if you want it with matching key. I believe there's a price to pay! It's worth asking before ordering the part! ;-)
Did this car have engine management light on..?
some do some don't depends how long the issue has been there, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
And if it wint start and no spark on 2 and 3 ? Ideas ? Thanks
what fault codes do you have? Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@aaanton11 none atm buddy only a cheap code reader but nothing . I've swapped ignition coils and only same spark works . We did at first think it was 2 bad coil packs and had new but too those back...... something is not allowing the other 2 to spark.........only thing that's odd is the car sat 4 a few days (ran before hand ok ) and alarm randomly went off and stayed on . The owner took batt fuse out (yes correct 1 I checked ) so very off ..I can smell fuel I don't believe it's fuel related tbh plugs get wet
I've got the same issue you described (lack of power) I've followed along this video but all 3 cylinders are working fine. Any idea what else may be causing this problem?
You will need a code reader eobd to pinpoint the issue Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 thank you for replying. No codes show up on my scanner :/
All C1s suffer from lack of power - even when the coils are 100% functional.... ;-)
