I can imagine how people are gonna start hating on his squat form. But that is something you should definitely try out. 20 reps with this limited range of motion and constant tension and your quads will feel like they are going to explode.
I tried this with 225 and almost died. Way more painful than full range of motion. The quads get no rest they are just constantly under tension and the fibers are getting ripped to shreds
It looks as though Phil does mostly all his movements with a partial range of motion as to keep constant tension on his muscles. To all the form haters, he's the best built human being on the planet, you're trying to coach him ?
Leg extensions to start off is really good I used to feel the burn too fast before but now I start with those and I can handle lunges and squats like nothing really pumps blood into your legs like crazy
mrmonkeykow This is bodybuilding not powerlifting. Dan green might have bigger legs but does he have better quality legs? Outer quads, teardrop, abducter and upper thighs? And that's jsut from the front.. We'll probarly never know cause we haven't seen Dan green on stage shredded and water depleted.
this video is the proof that knowledge about training in PROFESSIONAL bodybuilding is totally irrelevant, like bostin loyd say. Obviously you have to train, but the most important it's the genetics, the drugs, and the diet. Phil has a terrible form on the exercices, bad ROM and that squat makes no fking sense.
if you think range of motion isnt important then you're an idiot. All of the best mass building exercises involve a very large range of motion. And no, most bodybuilders dont know fuck all about training, all they know how to do is take drugs. and quarter squats are not "training your ass off" quarter squats are pussy shit
@@shades4313 quarter squat keeps a Constant tension on the quads If you Go Full you gonna rest the quads and use the glutes and If you Go higher you can hurt your spine, gotta do around 70-90 degrees to keep the tension
quater squats have their purpose you just have to know when to apply them. Most of the people in the gym do them wrong and think they are getting maximal benefit when they are not

Using his ROM i get the best results of my life kept my hams from over engaging in the lower section of the lift and my quads blew up

من اشيك الاجسام والتناسق الموجوده حالا فى العالم وله حق الغرور
Still better squat depth than equipped lifters
lol not sacrificing weight for reps..... uses 315lbs and quarter squats.......
Works for him. Dude got amazing legs. He probarly keeping it on the thighs tho.
Look at his upper thigh development.. It's better than Kai greene's!
Dan Green has bigger legs and squats 750+ pounds raw to full depth

He's not the only example. Ronnie coleman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kai Greene they all squat to full depth.
although Phil won mr Olympia you could clearly see that Kai Greene clearly has better legs
I don't even have a cardio to do that reps per set.
I like
Of course he doesn't have no feather or striations in the legs he doesn't go below parallel
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not sguat!!!!
Hahhaha yes only 2011
