You guys are good. Don't change a thing. My family enjoys your content. I've allowed my kids to watch your vids as we trust they will be properly educated, in regard to our love and respect for this hobby. I don't let them watch channels that deliberately destroy rc aircraft and being unsafe.
Definitely see myself picking one of these up! Next logical step for E-Flite is to take all this plane’s engineering and put it into a P-38 airframe.

I love my d18 so much, put it together straight out of the box, didn’t adjust anything and she flies perfectly without any trim adjustment. Really gotta punch the throttle on take off with the slightest cross wind or she’ll do a donut, otherwise flies super easy and graceful at any throttle level with a 4s 3300

@@BrianPhillipsRC I haven’t tired a heavier pack in it, but I’m a big fan of having sizes that fit more than one plane that I have right now lol. Just got back into the hobby after not flying for 7 years and now it’s twice as expensive having my 8 year old son flying with me now too 😂 I’ve just about filled up all the hangar space so I’ll invest in better batteries and stuff soon haha.
I love the E-flite Beechcraft D18. It's one of my favorites to fly aside my other collections of rc airplanes. I also enjoy watching your videos. Especially the unboxing of new airplanes. I can't wait to see more awesome content videos.
Love this plane especially the very first flight when I had a total receiver failure and it flew off and crashed
Well that sucks! What failed on your Rx? I think I've been lucky, since only had 2-3 of these in thousands and thousands of flights...BUT we do hear about it from time to time

You know Brian, nobody does it better than you and Meagan. Anybody who comments otherwise obviously has not been paying attention.
Just food for thought for your playlists breaking them down, for example, to one playlist for all of the P51s, all the P 47’s in another etc., etc. you have so many videos it would make it easier for people that are looking for specific models and looking to compare different generations of the same model.
She's a beauty! Like the size, 2 engines, can go low and slow mo. It's on my wishlist.
Hi Brian and Camera Crew. Enjoyed this vid today. I’m new to RC. I’m following you and your vids bc u r the BEST I have found with being a newbie. I have the Carbon Cub Trainer and fly in basic for now. Took 4 lessons on a buddy box at my flying field and have flown solo now 4 times. What a fun hobby this is for this retired 68 year old! My question is this. My flying field that I joined has a weather vane. With the Carbon Cub and my inexperience for now, how much wind speed would you recommend to me to stay away from? Thanks for all you and Megan do-u guys are awesome and really care to grow the hobby safely.

Those removable wing tips are fantastic when you have a small car. I can fit the 1.5m eflite p51 in the back of my Mini cooper just by taking those off!

I’ve flown full scale commercial multi engine jet airliners as a first officer. That landing with the airborne reverse thrust at just before 8 minutes into the video was amazing. I crashed my first rc plane and feel bad about it.

It really is. I love this plane...when it was first released, I was like - mehhh, then I got my fingers on it, and it has proven to not only be AMAZING, but powerful, and FUN to fly. Admittedly, bigger pack makes it a lot easier to fly, if I didn't reiterate that in this video, but boy-o-boy, she is a looker, and a GREAT flying experience!!!
@@BrianPhillipsRC I fly in Microsoft flight Sim a lot. Last night after I watched this I decided to buy this plane in the Sim. It's a blast to fly. I really like it. I'm definitely getting this neat old rc plane soon. Just too unique to pass up!!

When I buy a new radio or plane, I'll buy from you. You do cool valuable content. I'd like to FPV fly an existing fixed wing, a helicopter, a boat, and Draco eventually. I fly in VR currently. I probably need the "Real Flight."
The only "manned aircraft" you need to be worried about are crop dusters. No manned aircraft is flying 100ft above your house.
This plane, the D (not A)18 and the Carbon Z T-28 just trip Brian up every time 😂 Cracks me up! Love it!

You can have your battery voltage on the main screen full-time if you want by using the ticker tape to display the ESC voltage telemetry in the function bar area. I also turn the function bar area solid green. I also set the ESC Telemetry alarm voltage at 3. 5 Volts per cell, which equates to 10.5 Volts for a 3-cell pack.
Loving the rc content as always but that pond project has me jonesing!

Hi, I watched your first video about the setup of this plane and the way to enable thrust reverse. Do you know if it is possible to do so without the Spektrum Programmer, and do it instead with an NX10 via the menu Smart ESC like you did with the Carbon SS Cub? Thank you.

Today i finished one of these but surprisingly it has problems whit noisy servos. I am disappointed never espect issues whit this brand.
i hated they way mine flew until i placed a heavy 4500 4s battery all the way forward in the nose then it was a whole different animal that pentrated the air better and didnt fly like an over sized butterfly as it did with smaller batteries.
I bought one flew really good just bad wood in it
