Missed you guy's I was there camped from Friday to Friday. Thursday was only rain day. Ck. My ch. Whenever ' Bucketlist ' I stayed on the main line and flew my night Timber at night. If I would of came down to Electric line I had a Trailer full . Meet everyone but you guy's. 😢 Glad you went nice work camera lady..👍 My electric bike was a great tool for the fun !
Can't wait, and looking forward seeing that new Jet fly! Getting that plane made me think, I really need to start learning about turbines ;) Maybe if I get one second hand, like you did, I could afford to get one??? Still not sure if I would be able to fly her here, but sure I could get a spot close by for AMA waiver testing. Thanks again for spending some time with us, it was a blast!
@@BrianPhillipsRC you could definitely fly the right jet. The BVM Ultra Bandit was my first jet and is heavy and requires fast and long approach. Something lighter that will slow down better is more doable for your place. Once you get your runway made out back you have more options. Take care,,,
Excellent demo Adam, especially when you can't feel your fingers! Wanted to thank you again so much for adding the name of the aircraft to your setup page. Really wish that I lived closer, would love to fly together some time!! Great job by Heidi for the camera work in those temperatures!!!😊
Literally jaw on the floor for the whole video ❤... KILLING IT 🔥 Brian and Camera Crew 😉..one of the best videos I have seen...These pilots and their airframes are Truly On Another Level..😮 Great Job taking the sticks Brian....👍👍
Brian and Camera crew, I enjoyed your Joe Nall video, my brother and I went last year and camped all week, it was a great time. We couldn't go this year due to a death in the family, but are plan nig to go to Nall in the fall, they say it is less crowded and more relaxed. I can't wait!
Sorry to hear about your loss, and bummed you couldn't make it. We went again in 2024, and I was just searching for comments I missed (yours was one) - Sorry about that!!! Maybe we already met you last week???
Hey Brian just wanted to thank you for helping me get started in the hobby 4yrs ago. I don't know if I would have continued or even now become a turbine flyer on a jet flight team as well as a field rep for another well known rc equipment provider. You and camera crews tireless work contributed greatly to my flying success. I would say to any RC vender or manufacturer, put stuff in your hands! because you are among the best in the world at presenting and fairly reviewing products and your opinion matters to a great many of us lifetime purchasers. Cheers!
The good old Aero Scout, one of my fav go too when the wind is up, there is 3 of us that fly at our home, and we all have at lest one, bill has 3 that still fly and a few that are parts, he is 72 and just started flying about a year ago, we love ya Brian and camera crew IE wifee, Thanks for the great time with you.
Just realized you are in Iowa! I am too, and dont live too far from you it looks like. Its always exciting to find out someone is from the same area as you. Great video btw keeps up the great work!
What an awesome hour twenty one Brian and Megan wow what a great video could have watched another 2 hours easily so i am hoping theirs a part 2 and full credits to camera crew Megan you really got the filming down pat , so so makes for better viewing and seeing this event that up close and personal was super cool , although i have one question whats with that Extra or Huge 3D plane sticking up its tail from the lake there is it for real crashed or just a prop- pardon the pun
One of your greatest vids, thank you soo much.Megan you are amazing with that camera.Wish I could have come down and meet you both, love what you guys do.Rick from Delaware
Thanks Rick, and maybe next time??? We don't know when or if, just quite yet, but we are planning to go to RC Fest next, if it works into your schedule.
"Cammera Crew" Don't ever let anyone tell you how to video aircraft I think you do an amazing job. I like that you don't always zoom way in on the aircraft way too many do and they loose the aircraft. And they really lose a lot of the flight. It is also eaiser to see what the plane is doing in the air from a distance. Love the Job that both of you do. Keep up the good work!
As always great video y'all I had planned on going this year but because of my crazy tour schedule I've been booked up doing sound production I'll try to get out there one of these days LOL certainly glad you're getting to experience some of these big fly in been to several over the years I think people need to know and understand that if you've ever wanted to get into the hobby the time has never been better they have made it so easy to learn how to fly anyway good job God bless
It's wild seeing your trip to SC. We live 40 minutes from Joe Nall but I haven't attended since '99. Watching the video is better than going. These days, a gathering like that too often is later described as having been a soft target. Followed by an outpouring of thoughts and prayers, of course.
Wish we could have met you there! ...and very sorry for my slow reply. Megan and I were just getting ready for our 2024 video release and didn't want to leave any "loose ends" from last year, and evidently there were QUITE a few - oooops!
Man, this is what I said you should start building a while back. That first plane you flew, the 104 NG. The first EF plane I built was that plane in a 91" with a 76 GP engine. I just bought the IX14 and am in love with it! Now I also have an 85" EF Gamebird and getting ready to build a EF Bushmaster 120". Wish I could have came to Nall and chatted with ya! I watched hours of your videos when I first started flying, it's not quite been a year yet and I moved up to these EF planes! Glad you got a taste of performance! See you!
Awesome vid. Please can someone explain how to do that transition from horizonal to vertical at 8:27? It looks like some form of snap. Or if there is a video explaining it somewhere on the web. Thanks
Brian I just want to thank you for how amazing your channel is. I have been into RC since I was a kid but have always been scared (and too poor) to get into the RC airplanes and such. Watching your channel has really peaked my interest because of the different types of scale model rc jets and planes you fly. I really want to get into it but it is not an easy hobby to get into on a lower income which is another reason I have stuck with rc cars for so long. I just want to thank you for your channel and everything you do for the hobby. I am going to purchase my first rc plane soon because of watching your channel and I wanted to just ask what you think would be the best plane to learn on? I really am excited about this new venture and want to thank you again for everything you do for the hobby. The passion you have for the hobby and the excitement you give really helps folks like myself want to take part in this amazing hobby. Your thoughts on a good beginner plane (that still looks cool) for a lower income individual would be greatly appreciated?? God bless🙏🏻
The apprentice is a very easy to learn on airplane. Also has safe and you should buy the simulator it will teach you everything you need to know. It's a lot cheaper to cross in a simulator then to crass a new plane
I would 1000% recommend the Aeroscout even over the apprentice especially for ground handling. I even let a 6yo who never touched a plane fly it and only took control one time. Wish I had it back when I learned to fly
Firstly, thanks for being here with us! Glad you're ready to take the plunge!!! Secondly, YOU CAN FLY RC ON A BUDGET!!!! Now, you won't have every plane you see us review, and that's okay, since you don't need 400 planes to love this hobby! I know how tough it can be to try to fly on a low budget, so we try HARD to bring some lower cost options, but they are usually somewhat inferior, so make sure you do your research (watch out videos ;) and stretch your dollars. In other words, don't chase good money after bad, if you're tight on cash. We can help you pick right...and this will help more than you might realize to keep your cost of flying down. $100-200 per month is enough to really have a great time, but you can get in for less than this too. Take your time, and don't give up when things get hard. You CAN do it! @@saittafpv5846 yes I was actually looking at the Apprentice S as a possible option. Thank you so much for your response. . I’d love to go to it some year , but it will never happen, so thank you Brain for showing and sharing what it’s all about. Awesome
Why not?!?!?! I said we wouldn't and, there we were ;) you gotta make it happen some time Bill. It was amazing!
Great video, camera que on pointe!
you guys are so awesome thank you so much for all u doo i dont ,miss a video
Very well done information and video.
Thank you.
I’m glad I had a chance to meet you guys in person before you headed out. All I can say if you are like me, you will be making many trips back to Nall in the future!
Brian and Meagan you have outdone themselves on this coverage of Joe nall by far you both have covered more than any one else and so much more videos and coverage at Joe cheers for the great effort 110% all the way cheers Rick
Thank you Rick! We try so hard, and Megan does the VAST MAJORITY of the heavy lifting here...I just talk to people for basically the ENTIRE trip ;) I like doing that though!
Sorry for my REALLY slow reply...2024 video is coming VERY soon ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC I'll be watching it thank you both cheers mate
What an amazing fresh “very Brian” coverage of this amazing event. You guys are amazing 🙏
"Very Brian" - thanks ;)
Meant in the most positive supportive way @Brian Phillips- you and Meaghan do amazing things for the hobby and the associated industry
Thanks Neil! We appreciate your support!
Great coverage of the event Phillips! Thank you!
Thank you!!!
Glad you went nice work camera lady..👍 My electric bike was a great tool for the fun !
Hey guys, again so nice meeting you and hanging out. Pizza night at the 3D line was awesome. Hope to see you again soon.
Glad you made it back safe and sound!
Brian and Camera crew,
I enjoyed your Joe Nall video, my brother and I went last year and camped all week, it was a great time.
Cheers!
Thanks Brian thanks camera crew
You bet! Our 2024 video is coming HOPEFULLY this week - Please stay tuned!
Brilliant video!!! Well done to Megan and yourself Brian, really good watch👊🏻
Pretty cool video packed with a bunch of fun stuff! 👍🏼
The good old Aero Scout, one of my fav go too when the wind is up, there is 3 of us that fly at our home, and we all have at lest one, bill has 3 that still fly and a few that are parts, he is 72 and just started flying about a year ago, we love ya Brian and camera crew IE wifee, Thanks for the great time with you.
great Joe Nall video guys !!!!!!!
Thanks! We had a blast!
Great video, thank you for sharing.
Whatan amazing trip, youlook like you are having so much fun, so happy you went, one day Ihope to go.
Awesome that you got to take that first flight
The blackbird was amazing. We have one here in Oregon in a museum. Awesome to see the real thing in person
Just realized you are in Iowa! I am too, and dont live too far from you it looks like. Its always exciting to find out someone is from the same area as you. Great video btw keeps up the great work!
How did I not know about this!? I live in North Georgia and would have been there.
3:57 that’s my boy Jonathan Chippeaux! Luv that dude
Thank you for sharing!
amazing. hope to meet you guys one day.
Way to bring the cute factor in to the video "Camera Crew"! That looked like it was as good as any air show!
Thanks ;)
"Cammera Crew" Don't ever let anyone tell you how to video aircraft I think you do an amazing job. I like that you don't always zoom way in on the aircraft way too many do and they loose the aircraft. And they really lose a lot of the flight. It is also eaiser to see what the plane is doing in the air from a distance. Love the Job that both of you do. Keep up the good work!
Agreed, she does a great job filming the planes on the channel. That super zoom in makes it look like a spider in a glass lol
Yep, for anyone who’s ever tried to find a model plane in the viewfinder; it’s hard 👍👍
Sounds like you two are in rc heaven! 😁
Great film skills as always even though this is more erratic than she's used to at home. Amazing to watch
Thanks
Nice job With the video guys.
Great content!! I suspect Camera Crew will be treated to a real vacation after she did all the heavy lifting on this project. Awesome job!!
I think Brian is going to become a hard core 3d pilot after this. Great footage and video as always.

One thing I have found out quickly about the model aeronautic rc community is that there is more of a helpful family type of community which is very refreshing so I thank you for that and for your response. 🙏🏻
@@matthewsilicki6091 I looked at the Aeroscout as well and yes it is a less pricey plane and looks to be an easier trainer type of plane I just cant get over the toy (lack of scale) look of it. Thank you so much for your response.
Great job!
Thanks Richard. This video was so tough to make, since we had tons of content and didn't want to cut ANY of it!!! Great show at Joe Nall!
Thanks for sharing your trip. When I saw the post I thought for sure I was going to see Jell-O wrestling with the camera crew and Rc sailers camera crew. 😂😂Next time perhaps
Outstanding camera work!! Don’t be affraid of Big gassers, with enough low rate and Expo they fly better than a trainer , once you try them they are amazing !!!!!
Awesome guys, hope to be able to make it one day 👍🏻✌🏻
Nice meeting you two on Thursday. Come back in the fall.
We had a great time and met so many amazing people!
so far so good. Im .49 in and no crashes yet
Awesome video as usual, hope to run into you guys at hobby fest.
Looking forward to making it out, and definitely hit us up if you can!
FIRE!!!!!!!!
camera crew is just showing off now, great job
Thanks
Im buying the carbon cub sport s this spring. 160$ for everything to get started is a great deal. My wofe and daughter love the rc planes, and we watch your channel on our 55" tv!...
Good choice! Good luck!!! Get flying - you won't regret it, even if you crash on your first flight...just don't give up. It's a lot harder than it looks, and anyone who tells you anything else has FORGOTTEN ;)
Glad you're here with us, and can't wait for you to experience this wonderful addiction, I mean hobby!!!
@BrianPhillipsRC ...thank you so much for the awesome comment guys...
I always wanted to fly but ended up with nitro monster trucks and buggys instead. Your channel and your very cool, and positive attitude has definitely been an inspiration for me to get started!!! Thanks again
Good stuff! What camera was used to film the flight footage if you don't mind?
Your a trouble maker, I love it
Brian, we should do a meet-up for the next Nall event. I talked the wife into it, she’s all about it.
We live in Northern California, so
It’ll be a trip for us. Would be cool to have some people meet up and go enjoy the event.
brains commentary is pretty amazing LOL
Great video.
Horizon should make a Brian Phillips model. They can call it “The Innuendo” 😂. Cool vid!…
Thanks, and that would be pretty cool!
Now I'm jealous I didn't get to go to that event
