I rode the DesPlains River Trail many times. It's so relaxing !
❤Awesome God bless the conservationist of cook county forests preserve ❤❤
Looking forward for more vids. Really like the comments/narrative and the rides you pick. Pine tree smell is my favorite, just got back from Breckenridge, did some downhill MTB in Vail and the pine trees are everywhere.
Thanks! You must have had awesome time! I can’t wait for our southwest roadtrip in a few months!
Hey thanks man. I am definitely planning another trip to Illinois to go biking all over these beautiful trails. It is so nice.
Very nicely filmed! I often ride the northern half of this trail.
Thank you! The north sections are well taken care of, that’s for sure!
I rode from Foster Ave all the way to Wisconsin.
This season you got me inspired to ride it all!
That’s awesome! Ride On!
Great video I cant even imagine how many breaks and treats you must have taken to conquer the whole trail. Hopefully, one day I can at least make it to independent forest
Was a bit more rustic than I imagined. Nice ride.
I tend to avoid the Cook County section due to the usual conditions, except for this super dry summer. Cheers!
They’ve done tons of work to make it better 👍
@@dackbowland1876 went on it last week, they added lots of rocks to parts of it as well as making the trail wider
@@tntalex28 yes and new bridges now too!
Nice vid! That looks like a tough trail and you make it look so easy. An ebike is probably what I can use here lol
Great ride. I rode along on my stationary bike. Hope you recovered. If you cross Russell Road there is a Model Airplane club area where the fly. I checked it out when I rode that trail but they were closed. But looks worth checking out. Glad your wife came to get you. I couldn't ride that far. Maybe next time launch from Independence Grove....still be about a 25-30 mile ride. Keep them coming, great video.
Thank you! I appreciate your comment! Next time I will make sure to stop and eat some real food, the power gels alone are not cutting it for anything over 60 miles!
Great video, just as a heads up go to liquid fusion for your smoothies its right by par king.
Oh Sweet, thanks for the tip!
which camera/gimbal setup did you use...?
I try to keep it as minimalist as possible. GoPro Hero 9, no gimbal. GoPro 7was good too but weak microphone.
I've rode my fat bike at displaine river trail even when it's raining very heavely
Thanks for the ruts!!
@@stevee270I also proudly create as deep of ruts as I can. Go straight through every mud puddle too
Is this a loop?
Nope
What kind of bike?
That was on 2018 Scott Addict CX
