Well it’s exposition that doesn’t really need contextualizing compared to the rest of the story. This is a quick, efficient, and honestly badass way of telling us about their mission down there. And it’s all stunningly drawn. Rather than spending 5 minutes talking about the plan and what they will do, they just showed us in a fun way. Also this songs a fucking banger.
@@ActionjXD It does need contextualizing. In a matter of one episode, we see Cait and Vi get together and immediately break it off. Then the next episode we see Maddie in bed with Cait. Not to mention how the three new characters that formed the strike team weren't characterized like Season One's minor characters were. The only character that had some development was Maddie and that's only because she slept with Cait? How did they end up together? What even was Maddie's motive? Was she a Noxian spy or just a traitor who wanted to get back at Cait for getting back with Vi? How about "Loris"? Do you even remember his name or do you have to search it up every time to know who he is? Why did he even decide to join the strike team in the first place? Yeah sure, he's the quiet introverted gentle giant, but so was Claggor, and I sure remember who Claggor and Milo are. Although they were minor characters they received good treatment for the minor characters they were. And the Vastayan fish guy? Not a single word I remembered him speak. Is he mute like Aysha or just quiet? Why did only Aysha get the good character development that Claggor and Milo did despite dying before these other three characters? What a big rushed disappointment of a season.
@ first off, yes i remember loris, and the vastayans name is scar. Yeah they are minor characters and the reason they don’t get as much screen time is due to their role in the story, the reason Claggor and Milo got more screen time is due to their role and importance to powder, even after she kills everyone she loves with the monkey bomb, they still haunt her, they become part of her schizophrenia. Scar didn’t get much screen time since he’s leading the firelights, his presence wasn’t needed nor important to the events of the story. Sure he shows up at the end of the fight but only due to ekkos influence, and while loris isn’t as an important character I do agree some insight to him would be beneficial but I also see why they didn’t. Because in show making and animation they only have so much time. Would rather have seen loris backstory over something like the bond of Isha and Jinx? Or viktor uncovering warwicks psyche? While they could have benefitted from more backstory, it would just have meant the removal of another scene or something more important. You can’t have it both ways
cus they were specifically gassing Silco's crime areas stupid Vi absolutely hates Silco's guts too and wants his influences gone cuz he destroyed the undercity
I might be wrong, but, despite this montage being in episode 3, I think some of this happened before the start of episode 2, since we see smeech's men witness the immediate aftermath of their attack on Margot's base, with the team still there _(after which Cait and Smeech seemingly cut a deal for Jinx)_ and we know Margot was alive after that. They don't seem to have encountered any of the other barons aside from Smeech despite attacking Margot's and Chross's headquarters, so maybe they weren't there? Atleast Margot and Chross didn't seem to riled up about the gray or enforcers during their meeting with Sevika. Maybe Chross's place got attacked after the meeting, and him with it, but it seems atleast Margot's still kicking
@@Ruby-Doc Its implied that they where captured, in the opening Caitlyn shoots the net launcher instead of a normal shot before showing Chross and Margot.

Love the artstyle, hate the writing
Vi just casually being okay with GASING THE UNDERCITY does not make sense whatsoever
I don't think it's fatal or has permanent damage on short use
VI feels guilty because her sister killed her girlfriend mother, so she is trying to justify the whole situation.
It’s not chlorine gas or anything, it’s more like a mild irritant that police use in riots. Just, everywhere
cus they were specifically gassing Silco's crime areas stupid
Vi absolutely hates Silco's guts too and wants his influences gone cuz he destroyed the undercity
Love how in the final they use a weaponised version of the grey as a cover for the bomb on viks' shell
The beat drop is so good. The whole opening is so hardcore 🎉
Me and the boys on Friday night
Caitlyn: oh they’re gonna breath all right
my fav ost from season 2
Fortiche Porduction coocked again, and oh boy they are master chef
This was an epic opening. 🔥
Police brutality goes brrrrr
Ah yeah, famous Germa... Piltover gas attack
Cait stepped on the gas alright 😂
Favorite scene of season 2 so far
Human suffering? Join the glorious evolution
The best scene
Holy fucking shit
wait, does this scene imply they KILLED THE CHEM BARONS?
Holy crap, that'd be bonkers.
Nope she used the net launcher in the gun on them.
@@Ruby-Doc Its implied that they where captured, in the opening Caitlyn shoots the net launcher instead of a normal shot before showing Chross and Margot.
@@Strix2031What is the net launcher?
@loxtrop_c7143 If you play league she uses her E if you dont you can go back to the scene and you will notice Caitlyn's gun has 2 barrels the one on the top launches bullets the one underneath launches a net to capture people
I love this scene, my jaw dropped when I saw it.
But I can't help but think that we've missed a lot thanks to these kinds of recaps. How long did it take from what we saw in this scene to Jinx being found?
X2, it make it seems as it was done in a day
Its peak as fuck tho, and they may have done it in a day too because having the gray is the ultimate weapon in zaun, even jinx was running away from it
Not too long it seems, Loris was still injured from the explosion at the end
Good evening, 47.
Thank youuu
Episode 2 : Wtf is that monster in the smoke? Wait... Nahh no way
Episode 3 : Oooh...oh... oh
Next act comes out in 4 hours but as of now this is my favorite scene in season 2.
This was so fucking sick!
hits so Suicide squad 😅
I wonder if the grey is the same stuff Silco used during the chembaron meeting
This was just epic!
