Godzilla steven literally overpowered each of the diamonds individually much to the horror of white diamond. Pink Steven completely nullified white diamonds mind control lasers. The same lasers that made the other 2 look like chumps. And the most damning evidence of all is that pink diamond as rose quartz used her shield to completely cancel out the diamond bomb being produced from all three diamonds at once.
They really did Steven right, good moveset, proper defense that's perfect for a team based game, and those quotes just bringing me back to those after-school days of watching the show.
As a Steven Universe fan I honestly have no clue what his Neutral Special is supposed to be - although I do like that parts of his moveset are all a mix between early show Steven, late show Steven and Future Steven. It's nice seeing all these references mixed into this younger Steven, like the Watermelon Stevens and Healing Spit, although I personally would have preferred to have his appearance to mostly be from the stuff he has in the Movie / Future (same goes with Garnet), although I ain't against it if that's what Warner Bros. decided to use.
I hope they add an option to turn team colors off. It's a bit annoying that playing as a character who isn't normally blue turns their palette blue, and same for opponents always being red.
It's already an option, out of all the videos I've seen no one turn it off, most likely because team colors helps figure out where you are. but it's there I promise you. I was able to get a code for the beta and looked around for it because it also bugged me
Honestly, I think water melon Steven should be easier to kill, in the show they basically exploded from just about any sorta of big hit, and even then, they were well, still water melons. Not quite the most durable things.

How do you think a person would grow up when their childhood involved space magic and violence. TBF though a sequel SFU future and the movie time skipped a little too much. An entire season or two could have been devoted in the development of Little Homeschool and the show could have gone back to having Slice of Life episodes with small problems and simple solutions. This would also cover Steven's teen years where his angst would have been more justified instead of suddenly crashing down all in what seems like a week in SFU.
