As always, so straight to the point, but without necessarily saying "it's harder" because once that thought gets looped in the ole noggin, it's in there! Very well spoken, sir!
Absolutely great tips. Thank you Greg for clarifying the difference between the size of an acrylic brush. I am definitely gonna continue using the sculpture brush that my starter kit came with and master on applying acrylic. Thank you Thank you Thank you 🙏🏻
Any info I need I just look up on yall page. I swear yall have every video with the techniques I need. You guys don't miss a beat. Thank you so much for what yall do. These videos help me 100%.

I have tried and used sooo many different brushes, THEN OMG I bought Gregs signature brush and now everything else is in the bin, Literally... Its exactly the perfect size. I was use to a size 10, But I dont really notice with Gregs brush that its a bit bigger because the quality and the way it picks up beads is outa this world, and it works great with all different brands of acrylic too. It has changed everything for me. Well done guys.xx
I think ive watched 100 videos of yours! You help me so much and thank you for taking the time to show us newbies how to learn acrylic nails for FREE! ☺️

Protein bond is a non acid primer.. it doesn’t chemically etch the nail like a traditional primer does. Protein stays sticky.. sticks to the natural nail and then sticks the product. Here is a video on Protein Bond & how to use it: ua-cam.com/video/GY8KvVKJlQE/v-deo.html
I learned with the brush that came in my acrylic kit, I mostly use Greg's signature brush now. It 'bounces' better, picks up acrylic better due to firmness
@@marissasubia5967 lol. I had my cart filled 3weeks before the last sale. It's a great brush, I have had no problems, no stray bristles, it has held it's shape, it doesn't hold acrylic in the bristles.....I bought a modelones size 12, the bristles are thicker and shorter than Greg's brush. (And it has stray bristles sticking out) it holds a lot of monimor, compared to Greg's brush, I prefer Greg's brush. 😁🖌️

Would YN ever consider creating and selling a size 9 brush with a metal handle? I am also curious about where the kolinsky hair YN uses for their brushes is sourced from. 🤔 I can't wait for more Black Friday announcements!! 🥰
I bought an oval #12 brush from Sally’s. Didn’t realize until I got home that it was a Mink and Nylon Blend is that a good brush to use?? #SelfTaught #Beginner
I have a size 10 oval from enail Couture And a size 8 sculpture brush from young nails and the size 8 is my fav hands down 💅 i use it all the time it is my go to brush ! 😝🙃
Off topic question: I want some colored acrylic powder, is there a difference between slick pour powders and colored acrylic powder? If both powders can be applied with monimor does it matter if I buy slick pour or colored acrylic? will you have any kits of slick pour or colored acrylic for sale? Thanks!
Slick pour is recommended for dipping. Sometimes it doesn't play well with monomer, and sometimes it does. To know which ones are good with monomer you have to test each and every color
@@rurrox7597 ty, I have found that some brands of dip powder work fine with monimor, some don't. Some didn't dry & was play dough like, not quite drying. Cuccio dip powder worked very nicely with monimor. I don't have much experience with acrylic application, I don't know if my issues are user or product related. I know slick pour is for dip, I think I saw a video of slick pour being applied with monimor, but I want to check before ordering. Are Slick pour powders different than colored acrylic? I was not sure if they were interchangeable....does slick pour powder play well with monimor? Lol. I like the option to apply with monimor.
@@cmayo5659 our slickpour is very versatile and can be used with monomer as well as with resin and conversion base and top coat. Our ultimate kit comes with 2 slickpour colors.
Some people crimp their brush, what do ya all think? Oh, what size brush comes with the acrylic core/speed kits? Greg's signature brush is 12.....right?
I love the oval brushes....my problem is finding the right size that I'm comfortable with. I haven't mastered the one ball method yet, and to me.....I think execution is more important.....if I need 3 balls then so be it. Learning how to use a brush the right way is key to building a beautiful nail I believe. The fine point at the end of a brush is perfect for mastering the cuticle area. Thank you gentleman for your expertise! 💙💚💛💜💕
I must say. I work much easier with Greg's Signature brush. I also had a 8 before, and initially I was a bit hesitant with the bigger brush, but I was really surprised. I love my new brush.
No offense but polygel will always be inferior in my opinion to acrylic and personally I hate using it because it doesn't last very long so I think it's absolutely, for lack of a better word, RUBBISH.
