You’d be right! I wanted to do it just by counting power ups because that’s how nabbit would get his lives normally. If I was accounting for 1 ups, coins etc. I would’ve had a much different strategy, but that wouldn’t have been as much fun because there is infinite 1 up tricks in the game
I love Nabbit, because I am 40 years old and my son is 4 years old. I can teach my son how to play and he uses Nabbit and he can already legitimately get through half the stages in Mario Bros U without me picking him up or him needing to bubble. He can do every swimming stage, most of the acorn plains stages, most of the rock candy cliffs or whatever they're called, merangue clouds he can do the bouncy clouds and the block snake level, almost any stage where there aren't a lot of wide pits he can do. He's even learned how to run and jump at the same time even though his tiny little fingers can barely press those two buttons at the same time with one finger. Nabbit's great, Nabbit is the reason why my boy can play video games with his dad. He wants to play with me every day.
Nice, as someone whose third ever video game and first platformer was nsmb Wii, I had to just learn the hard way (and get carried through half the game by my parents lol). Nabbit is a great way for newer and/or less skilled players to be able to learn the game without as much pressure and maybe even beat it on their own! Glad he also made it into Wonder alongside Yoshi for those who want even more help with his unique moveset!

Something you didn't mention I (think) was that multiplayer spawns mushrooms in bubbles at times Also I (think) if your on luigi u and peach has a crown it doesn't drop crown again
Can you do this on the WiiU version of NSLU? If I remember right Nabbit can’t hold baby Yoshi in that version, and I don’t think there was a cap on how many live Nabbit could get in one level.
In the video, he is playing mario u ON SWITCH, and in that game, blue toad is replaced by toadette. However, you can still play as blue toad, but he is only just a skin for yellow toad, and you can’t play both at the same time. Additionally, nabbit is not playable in Normal Mario u in the Wii U, so the only way it would be possible is Luigi U DLC for the WII U, but, he is on the switch, and, most likely, Does not have Luigi U for Wii U.
Nabbit doesn't get lives for powerups in Wonder, and the bubble flower can't turn enemies into powerups like Baby Yoshi can (and Nabbit can't use it anyway)

In the switch version you can only have one Toad since blue Toad is treated as the same character as yellow. In the wii u version you can have both
