With how you seem to appreciate philosophically relatable and esoteric but strange and alien game design I HIGHLY recommend checking out the old Oddworld games, I’m considering buying clash because of my love for Oddworld and your description of the game just sold me that they’re both weird but enjoyable enough thank you!
Zeno Clash is my favourite series, play the other 2 as soon as you can! Sadly the devs said on twitter that since this game didn't sell too well their publisher most likely wont let them make another one.
Honestly does seem pretty fun and satisfying, the way dude recoils after getting hit does something for me
