Are there any items you get from asking for fees that you can’t get otherwise? I played a pretty nice character and always wondered that. Don’t have the desire to play through the game a 2nd time
my evil character is a very handsome hufflepuff boy who looks like a cross between lucius malfoy and Blade. he is an absolute asshole because he has the most girly voice ever lol. if there is an option to keep whatever, he is keeping it and he will always charge you an extra fee otherwise.
I had fun completing this game, but at the end I realized the huge wasted potential. For me the best was the visuals, dueling system and sebastian storyline. The rest is a huge map with a repetitive logistic that ends up boring. I rather preferred a multiple outcome history based on morality, more side missions, more school interaction and focusing all the treasure hunting in hogwarts. At the end I ended up feeling like harry potter and the reseller of clothing and accessories.
I like that based on your choices in the fetch quests, your other classmates will comment on them. "Once a coward, always a coward, just ask Duncan Hobhouse." - Ominis Gaunt.
The voice actor for Garnuff did a fantastic job. He really made you feel the connection to Biscuit and his responses felt so genuine. It was also one of the darkest side quests, I think, because of the consequences of your choice.. At the end, you had either a goblin who was happily reunited with his Biscuit and lost the last shred of racial bias he had against wizardkind, or you have a hateful racist who can't stand to continue life and has decided that wizards are indeed evil and can't be trusted. It's two polar opposite paths for Garnuff and it all comes down to what you do with his Biscuit 😢
The worst option for the Biscuit quest is to fall in the bug where you can open the cage before the mission starts, but then you can't open later the lock to complete the quest. Probably all the poor creatures suffered a long agony finally dying from thirsty, hungry and even cannibalism trapped there
After using the mod for unlocking all the spells, i only used the unforgivable curses to finish the game, but there is no consequence as there is no morality in Hogwarts. I hope someone creates a Morality Mod.
My MC on my Story playthrough is a good person who always helps others and doesn't learn the unforgivables (you don't need to for 100% on the Switch) Although having said that I did tell Zenobia that playing Gobstones was a terrible idea because that's how they were stolen in the first place
The closest mod to a morality mod is an azkaban mod I saw on nexus 😂 someone modded that you can get sent to azkaban if you perform the unforgivable curses in front of NPC's so there's that? HAHA but that's about it
Honestly the decision with Puffskein Duncan is the good one. While giving him the leaf will help his current situation, it won’t benefit him in the long run. My gryffindor character chose to keep the leaf because of this and because he values bravery
@@15thobserver my slytherin gave him the leaf because connections are always important to have and he would owe me a huge favor for that, on top of it being a good way to boost my reputation as a good, trustworthy person. my hufflepuff boy kept the leaf because he's an asshole to compensate for having a super girly voice.
as a gryffindor i still gave it to him because he was literally being bullied. give him the leaf and help him find his bravery another way (hypothetically ofc)
Damn, my very first playthrough i got this ending and I wasn’t even intentionally evil. I did use those unforgivable curses quite a bit, however but really just the one. Totally not AVADA KEDAVRA!
Zenobia: I felt a little bit bad in a playthrough where I kept her gobstones... But then again... I absolutely cannot understand why anyone (other than 9-year-old boys) would want to play a game that sprays you with smelly goo. Although the kids who bullied her by hiding her gobstones did overreact. They could have just declined to play in the first place. Duncan: I don't like bullying him. Nobody deserves their entire school life destroyed by one small act of cowardice. I do like to tease him and say I won't give him the leaf and then laugh and give it too him. The guy does need to face his fears. Also if this were a real situation I would make him come with me to the Herbology corridor. Sure it's dark and scary in there. Anyone would be a little nervous. Going in with a friend would make it less scary. What makes me hesitant to actually give him the leaf is that he didn't actually do anything! He earned the reputation of being a coward and then the player character just fixes it for him. I'm all for helping people, but this isn't helping! It's enabling a wimpy coward to continue to be a wimpy coward! Lenora: Can't believe anyone would have so much trouble solving those incredibly obvious puzzles. I did actually solve one of those before ever even meeting Lenora! LOL If this were real life, I would probably tease her about it a little bit, but it's just plain rude not to tell her the answer. Sophronia and the Hall of Herodiana: Only a real a**hole would refuse to show her the outfit. I see it as she's sort of the researcher who "Hires" the adventurer to find the artifact. Of course, she doesn't offer you money at first, but if you insist she will pay you. Cressida's diary: I'm sure anyone can relate to the horror of the threat of having the entire school know all of your private and personal thoughts. Grace Pinch-Smedly: I can somewhat understand asking for a reward or compensation of some kind, but what the heck are you going to do with a rusty old astrolabe that even if it weren't rusted beyond repair you probably wouldn't know how to use anyway? Nerida and the mermaids: Dummy needs to learn how to swim! Can't very well be a liaison to aquatic creatures if you can't swim. I understand wanting compensation for diving in the yucky lake, but there really is no point in keeping the artifact other than being a jerk. I guess it is pretty... Biscuit the Mooncalf: Logically the mooncalf would be safer in the room of requirement where no poachers could possibly get to it, but how could you be so cruel to that guy? When his eyes swell up like big saucers. You're stealing his pet and best friend. How would you feel if someone came along and stole your dog or something? Marianne and the Diricawl: I really did not want to give that woman the albino Diricawl. I'm sure she doesn't abuse it, but it's pretty clear that she's more interested in using the pretty feathers in her stupid "Fashion" than she is in the bird's actual welfare. Sabastian: I feel like Sabastian is not a bad guy. He just gets blinded by his desire to help Anne and he can't see anything else. Throwing him in Azkaban is only going to make him bitter and hateful. He'll either rot in there forever, or if he ever does get out he will be a hateful murderous psychopath.
When I do an evil playthrough it will be as a Hufflepuff so I'll be sending him to Azkaban knowing he'll end up like the woman framed for Jackdaw's disappearance. Super cruel!
@@DBProds96Because every Harry Potter fan wants to self insert into that story/universe. That includes being evil as well if they want to. They gave you the choice to make your own character so they clearly knew that.

Hey just because I spam the killing curse and then laugh like a manic as it melts down every health bar that doesn't mean that I'm the Dark Lord... Oh wait, it does. Avada Kadavra!
I don't think you'd have ever been given the option to do so, BUT when I first heard about the repository that held the embodiment of other people's pain, and knowing full well how dangerous it was, I actually wanted to destroy it. Think back to Mass Effect 3. Post extended cut, Destroy is the best ending imo as its the ONLY one where Shepard has even a CHANCE to survive, the ONLY one that doesn't involve either letting the Reapers win the war, forcibly altering everyone's DNA and possibly personalities too, or being under the eternal rule of a rouge AI. In other words, its the ONLY ending that lets everyone in the galaxy live their lives as they please just as they did before the invasion. Destroying the repository would prevent the entire situation with Ranrok from happening all over again. And the Keepers stress how dangerous it is given it embodies all of the pain and emotion forcibly taken from other people by Isadora. And its not like ancient magic would be gone, it existed before the repositories anyway.
I started out being super friendly, giving quest items back right away and not asking for more money... later when I saw the "I need some more" options I started selecting them, and noticed I would get basically the same rewards as being nice, but with 500g more of top. Soon after, my playthrough turned to me keeping items (or special beasts in companion quests) and always requesting more money as reward if the item couldn't be kept. People said nasty things about me but I am loaded 😆 I wonder if they'll eventually make all NPC's attackable?
2:45 what Duncan doesn’t realize is that getting stronger will make the others leave him alone! I find it so rich that he asks us to do something risky solely for his benefit and when he doesn’t get his way, *we* have wasted *his* time? What exact time has he spent doing anything? He doesn’t deserve to get the leaf!
Yeah, but considering he uses his wand to "see" his way around, he probably has, in some way "seen" Sebastian. It'd be like telling Daredevil he's never seen Electra when it rains.
I made every evil or jerk decision even right up to the end of saying I will keep all the dark energy for myself and… nothing happens. Because the game has zero morality system 🙁 But dang were some of the NPC reactions down right hilarious 🤣
Those "bad" choices have no influence other than small lines... Coming from a game which decisions would play s heavier role in the development of the story, this was one point on Hogwarts that put me off
Seeing the wildly different impacts that you can have with Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate, and then seeing stuff in here really shows how wild of a contrast of quality of games these are.
What pisses me off is the game is all about this magic power the keepers want to keep secret. Then I open the suppository and get the power and literally nothing happens, No spells, No extra power or effects lol And the keepers are such hypocrites, When the Isadora girl gets her power all they say is “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE” and then they kill her using Avada Kedavra.
All the bad lines that bully other people are even better when (at least for me) Baldemorts voice is similar to Radclifes voice. This dry mercilessness is just pure gold xd
There is one more character that hates you for asking to receive more compensation. Edgar Adley who loses his friend to the Absconder and the dead friends’ daughter is supposed to be given the heirloom pocket watch and if you ask him for more compensation he shows you distaste and tells you to never come back so you end up not being able to buy or sell from him again.
@@Boykiw44 Right, also Hyacinth Olivier in Cragcroft during the sodequest "Sacking Selwyn". If I recall correctly, she hets quite angry when we demand higher compensation for taking out a dangerous criminal...
One thing that I'm wondering is if I could just rush the main quest and then do the sebastian's sidequest, after ending the main story and telling him that rookwood is the one that cursed his sister... maybe there will be some alternative dialogue?
Nope same dialogs except it ends up being backwards and broken in context. Sebastian in one of my playthroughs finds out the truth BEFORE killing his uncle, seems remorseful, then if you turn him in AFTER THAT you still get the dialogs with ominis about how ominis tells sebs the truth and he gets even more angry. Clearly the devs didn't anticipate you finishing the main line before the Sebastian one
There is no real choices to make. Most just give you the same dialog no matter what option you choose. How much parse this game gets really shows how low the expectations on the Videogame industry has become
@Siggie after playing the game to 100% twice, there are no changes in dialog or outcome no matter what choices you make. The biggest disappointment for me was handing in my field guide to Professor Weasley. 1st play I was at 85%, she said I had done a lot, but there was still a large bit to complete before my OWLs. In the second play, I made sure to be at 100% before turning it in. She had the same exact dialog, saying there was more to do, even at 100% complete. Along with other parts of the game, I would pick one option and see the outcome. Reload the game and choose another option just to have the same things happen. Overall, they have made a good start, I think they do need to just skip DLC and move on to making a better second game. Now the world is made they just need to add to it
It is fun game. Not having morality system or far reaching consequences makes it feel like a PS2 game which are really fun. Like I am really playing a game for fun and relax.
@mexodroid1848 it's definitely fun, I played it twice now. I just see what it could have been, but that makes me excited for the 2ed game. I think Avalanche will be even better next time
To be honest, I actually dont think the good ending is really a good ending either. I know it relates to the message the game is going for, but if you think about it, it just means you are putting that decision on to the next person with ancient power that comes into existence... rather than creating a real solution for the issue such as creating a channel for ancient magic
I agree. The game and the Keepers are also extremely vague about what's so bad with the power in the first place, aside from it being unknown and very strong. It feels extremely weird that all throughout the game all they ever say is "no, we don't know what it does so don't do it" as if that would ever satisfy anyone. The only real offenses Isidora is seen or told to do are taking _something_ out of Niemh without her consent and doing it to students, although the students are volunteers. But neither of these things tell the player anything about the consequences, or even what was taken from Niemh. The only thing that was unambiguously bad was Isidora's father being a mindless husk in the end but the game is also extremely vague about that too. Did Isidora go drunk with power and suck all emotions out of him, or did the one event of taking away his pain result in this state with time? Nobody knows but Isidora died because of it and according to the Keepers we're supposed to understand why.
For me at the end of the Sebastian Sollow quest the "evil" choice was not to turn him in, so that a boy knowing all 3 unf. curses and murder of his uncle can still be running around.
@@DBProds96 If you turn him in it's more treason than rlly beeing evil in my op. A real villain like me knows how to inflict most damage to society and meanwhile still having pride and integrity 💪🏻
I hope in the near future a DLC will be made to make Hogwarts legacy more interesting by making the character we choose to become a dark wizard like a Evil Jedi in Star Wars
1:54 Poor Puffskein Dunkein cause you even called him a Hufflepuff and he's clearly wearing Ravenclaw robes 💀 his fear of the cute critters is so bad it got him resorted
The first time I kept Biscuit, but then after seeing his dialogue when you say Biscuit is better off with the player, I reloaded my save and decided to give Biscuit back.
Yeah I plan to make my Gryffindor as evil as possible. LOL My reasons for this: Not all Slytherins are evil! I don't want to play the super cliche "Evil Slytherin". I actually made my Slytherin nice. They just sometimes get blinded by their ambitions and get mislead. In my personal experience, Gryffindors tend to be arrogant bullies. So that's how I'm playing mine. Not all of them are bad of course, but not all of them are good either.
Well reading some of things I believe was written by Salazar Slytherin it seems like Godrick and him tend to agree each other and were best of friends until Godrick agreed to bring muggles into the wizarding world in hogwarts.
Gaslighting Sebastián into thinking he made the correct choice by killing his uncle, having him teach you Avada kedavra, then hauling his ass off to Azkaban is next level diabolical
Thank you for this. In every game i play i'm ALWAYS a goody two shoes, can't help it. Please, play more single player games as a complete baddie just so us angels can see how the other half live. :)

Are there any items you get from asking for fees that you can’t get otherwise? I played a pretty nice character and always wondered that. Don’t have the desire to play through the game a 2nd time
@@geezus7678 No but you always get around 500 galleons
I think this way of playing bad makes most since to plot and character
my evil character is a very handsome hufflepuff boy who looks like a cross between lucius malfoy and Blade. he is an absolute asshole because he has the most girly voice ever lol. if there is an option to keep whatever, he is keeping it and he will always charge you an extra fee otherwise.
Can you really obtain all that power in the end and use it? (I haven’t finished the game yet)
Can't agree more! I'm just playing to unlock AVADA Kadavra! Those bullshit puzzles and trials are frustrating af
I feel like it was Harry Potter in the highlands. More than half the game is spent running around tiny villages outside hogwarts

At the end, you had either a goblin who was happily reunited with his Biscuit and lost the last shred of racial bias he had against wizardkind,
or you have a hateful racist who can't stand to continue life and has decided that wizards are indeed evil and can't be trusted.
It's two polar opposite paths for Garnuff and it all comes down to what you do with his Biscuit 😢
Only a sociopath would refuse to give back his pet, even on an evil playthrough
@@ethor7676 listen!! i had to stay true to my evil playthrough, im sorryy 🤕
Much like real life actually…
The worst option for the Biscuit quest is to fall in the bug where you can open the cage before the mission starts, but then you can't open later the lock to complete the quest. Probably all the poor creatures suffered a long agony finally dying from thirsty, hungry and even cannibalism trapped there
“You’ll all be sorry once I learn some new spells” is the wizarding world equivalent of “don’t come to school tomorrow”
Puffskein Duncan is a ravenclaw. That’s a ravenclaw uniform.
Yes thank you! Don't be dissing on my house now
As a ravenclaw, how is it insulting? My best friends a Hufflepuff.@@FemkevanDrooge
After using the mod for unlocking all the spells, i only used the unforgivable curses to finish the game, but there is no consequence as there is no morality in Hogwarts. I hope someone creates a Morality Mod.
In your case they're the Easily Forgiven curses.
My MC on my Story playthrough is a good person who always helps others and doesn't learn the unforgivables (you don't need to for 100% on the Switch)
Although having said that I did tell Zenobia that playing Gobstones was a terrible idea because that's how they were stolen in the first place
I gave him the leaf just wanting to help out a fellow Ravenclaw.
As a slytherin I got to keep the leaf and laugh at the idiot who lead me straight to it without charging me a dime for such valuable information.
@@abiean222 Ahh well played, but be wary of cowards they are the first to turn on you no matter the relationship.
as a gryffindor i still gave it to him because he was literally being bullied. give him the leaf and help him find his bravery another way (hypothetically ofc)
It really sucks that no choice mattered. Hopefully they learn to make a more grim sequel

Lenora will continuously whine about how you didn't tell her every time you pass through Central hall by the Library XD
People said nasty things about me but I am loaded 😆
I wonder if they'll eventually make all NPC's attackable?
2:45 what Duncan doesn’t realize is that getting stronger will make the others leave him alone! I find it so rich that he asks us to do something risky solely for his benefit and when he doesn’t get his way, *we* have wasted *his* time? What exact time has he spent doing anything? He doesn’t deserve to get the leaf!
No matter how evil of a playthrough I do, Biscuit gets to go back to his owner. Cant do it.
Thank you so much for this video. I accidentally chose a mean choice in a side quest and I felt so bad i almost cried
i have never resonated with a comment as much as i did with this one hahah
It's amazing anyone kept asking you to do them favors. You'd think after half a dozen quests like these people would have steered clear of you lol
Ominis:”We may never see Sebastian again😢”
Me:”You never have, you’re blind”
Edit: wow never realised this hit 100 likes, lets aim for 150 💪
Yeah, but considering he uses his wand to "see" his way around, he probably has, in some way "seen" Sebastian. It'd be like telling Daredevil he's never seen Electra when it rains.

HELPP
Nah when Zenobia said "you'll all be sorry when I learn some more spells" you should have cast the killing curse right then and there.
She'll comment that she doesn't know that spell and that it looks beautiful
I made every evil or jerk decision even right up to the end of saying I will keep all the dark energy for myself and… nothing happens. Because the game has zero morality system 🙁
But dang were some of the NPC reactions down right hilarious 🤣
Those "bad" choices have no influence other than small lines... Coming from a game which decisions would play s heavier role in the development of the story, this was one point on Hogwarts that put me off
Evil wizards: "I like Hufflepuff"
Me, an evil Hufflepuff: "uh, yeah, me too."
Seeing the wildly different impacts that you can have with Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate, and then seeing stuff in here really shows how wild of a contrast of quality of games these are.
What pisses me off is the game is all about this magic power the keepers want to keep secret. Then I open the suppository and get the power and literally nothing happens, No spells, No extra power or effects lol
And the keepers are such hypocrites, When the Isadora girl gets her power all they say is “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE” and then they kill her using Avada Kedavra.
turns out the most evil sorcerer was Kylian Mbappé all along
"There can only be one dark wizard in Hogwarts...ME!!!" lmao
All the bad lines that bully other people are even better when (at least for me) Baldemorts voice is similar to Radclifes voice. This dry mercilessness is just pure gold xd
Oddly enough, no one has any major issues with us demanding "additional compensation" (except Cressida)...
Oh No..not giving Biscuit back ..I could never do this so I appreciate you doing it so I can see the different responses.
I'm absolutely willing to do anything evil In the game except.... separating biscuit from her owner I can't bring myself to do it
I didn’t give Gwyneira to the lady because she clearly only wanted her for her feathers so she was safer with me
What’s funny is they really think they can trust a Slytherine student into helping them so not your fault 🤣🤣🤣
1:50 Is not Hufflepuff, but Ravenclaw...
One thing that I'm wondering is if I could just rush the main quest and then do the sebastian's sidequest, after ending the main story and telling him that rookwood is the one that cursed his sister... maybe there will be some alternative dialogue?
I did that on accident but it was the same 😂
Nope same dialogs except it ends up being backwards and broken in context.
I took zenobias gobstones on my first play through and i cast the crucio spell on sabastian lol i didnt know this video existed
I skipped the stealing Biscuit part from the video, I know myself and I would have cried for hours thinking about this😭
Baldemort has to be the name out there. I was already happy with my Gary Potter, but this wins.
I don't think its evil to tell leeches to do their own homework.
“Puffskein Dunkein is a Hufflepuff student…”
Robes: *is Ravenclaw*
There is no real choices to make. Most just give you the same dialog no matter what option you choose. How much parse this game gets really shows how low the expectations on the Videogame industry has become
Besides the dialogues it is a very good game and Im really nitpicky and like to rage about smaller stuff
I think Avalanche will be even better next time
apparently every bad decision in Hogwarts legacy is just kleptomania
I didnt even know this video existed, but somehow I made your character’s cousin Baldina Baldwich and they look so similar 😂
aperently it's acceptable to ask them for money I've been Hufflepuffing my way through and helping everyone for free
Keeping Biscuit and turning Sebastian in was too much even for my Slytherin heart.
Turning Sebastian in was actually the good choice
No it wasn’t
When I do my slytherin play threw I was gonna go evil just to see what would happen. Thanks to u ik who to avoid the annoying convos with after lol
For me at the end of the Sebastian Sollow quest the "evil" choice was not to turn him in, so that a boy knowing all 3 unf. curses and murder of his uncle can still be running around.
that is not an evil choice at all lmao
@@DBProds96 If you turn him in it's more treason than rlly beeing evil in my op. A real villain like me knows how to inflict most damage to society and meanwhile still having pride and integrity 💪🏻
I feel as if I'm spoiling the game for myself but I was curious... and come on, I could become the dark Lord himself and still give Biscuit back
The blind kid: we may never see Sebastian again!
Me:…..um
Imo the goblin should have tried to jump you for stealing his pet. He sounded super attached to it.
this is pretty much people asking favors and then when he completes the tasks and say "finders keepers" and runs off
I hope in the near future a DLC will be made to make Hogwarts legacy more interesting by making the character we choose to become a dark wizard like a Evil Jedi in Star Wars
I wish there was a “to be fair, you’ve never seen him in the first place” when we talk to Omnis.
As a slytherin, I didn't regret making those evil choises
Not giving biscuit was the worst one I felt so sad
1:54 Poor Puffskein Dunkein cause you even called him a Hufflepuff and he's clearly wearing Ravenclaw robes 💀 his fear of the cute critters is so bad it got him resorted
I just wanna keep hearing ominous say seh-bAst-eeeon lmao love the accent
If Big Dan ever starts going bald...watch out!
Did anyone else hear Harry at 3:08? It sounded just like him!
The first time I kept Biscuit, but then after seeing his dialogue when you say Biscuit is better off with the player, I reloaded my save and decided to give Biscuit back.
Yeah I plan to make my Gryffindor as evil as possible. LOL
My reasons for this: Not all Slytherins are evil!
I love how your dude just looks like a regular guy with alopecia 😂
Gaslighting Sebastián into thinking he made the correct choice by killing his uncle, having him teach you Avada kedavra, then hauling his ass off to Azkaban is next level diabolical
Puffskein Duncan…seems to be wearing a ravenclaw robe. Odd choice for a “hufflepuff”.
