All due respect, you can tell the difference between Snap-On and ICON sockets with your eyes closed. Don’t believe me? Try it and you will notice how soft (that’s how I describe it) the ICON chrome is in comparison. In any case, no bearing the price and I have ICON in my home garage and Snap-On at the shop.

They feel about the same to me. Of course I don't have any newer snap on sockets. I have a few older ones that I picked up here and their of market place. But to some one who uses snap on daily would be able to feel a difference in the 2 for sure.
