Yep keep that mentality. I collected many tools over the years, not all snap on or Mac. I been using gearwrench and grey pneumatic impact sockets for 11yrs, way cheaper and work good.
Hey Pablo, don’t comment much but I’ve watched a bunch of your videos, reason being is you’re a nice kid and the guys you work with are nice. I’m at the end of my career, started out a mechanic ended up an electrician. I look forward to watching your career, progress been working on cars since I was 15 I’m 61 now kinda getting back to my roots. Great videos I’ll be watching, and as always liking !
Appreciate the support! I have a lot of videos in the works! Jet ski project videos, 68 charger content, some Land Cruiser videos and repairing an abandoned quad. Thanks for stopping by!
This was a great one. Love the attitude where if it does the job its just as good. Its good to see someone thats not 5 digits in debt to the tool trucks. Great video!
I had the HF and OTC press kits first and they will usually get the job done. After using those then buying the Snap on kit, it's worth the investment. Expensive but I don't regret it.
Pablo my S.O. dealer came back from the convention with some 1/2 off + promo deals on inmpact sockets he had all the 3/8 standard and metric short mid and deeps that's the time to buy you are doing it rite when you said you dont drink made me smile take that money and stash it be carful with the long ratchets and breakers on those cheap sockets they will leave a mark 😂👍😎👍
Good stuff, only recommendation i have is to utilize your space a little bit more. Get a socket tray, and throw all of those plastic bins away, everything that you use on a constant basis should be within the first 3 drawers, everything diagnostics and special tools should go in the bottom 3. You can buy the slots and dots attachment from snap on and attach it to the cart, if will open up a lot more space
I think what I’ll do is I should put them at the very top it does suck grabbing so low frequently 😂 I definitely would recommend the Mac wrenches just wait for a promo when you can get a killer deal!
It's good! However I ended up trading it for a macsmizer. My dealer offered me a deal I just could not refuse. But for a starter box definitely worth the price. The U.S. general is a good box!
Yes most likely. I will get some organizers and then see from there how much space I have left 👍. My next box will definitely be a big one. I personally don’t see a reason to buy a smaller box and keep upgrading as I go I’d rather just buy 1 and be done.
Especially the long needle nose. Not even knipex compare to snap on ones. Not one bit of give no matter how hard you press plus it’s impossible to push the handles together
That is correct I agree. I’d rather have a US general full of snap on than a snap on box full of U.S. general 😂 maybe one day I will upgrade to a nice used mac box. I really like there boxes.
I know it's been 9 months but it's not too late to leave the worst industry you could possibly be a mechanic in, automotive. The only field where you're expected to spend a house's worth of money on tools to make $40K/year, 30%+ of your paychecks go towards tools you'll be buying endlessly. Do yourself a favor and get out while you're young, within 10 years your body will be destroyed. You can apply critical thinking skills & mechanical aptitude to basically any career. Literally every trade pays more than this one. Trust me.
you sir have a good head on your shoulders. Very smart buying on promo, and buying tools FIRST then the box...
Great setup. And an even greater down to earth and practical attitude. 👍
Thank you kindly! I appreciate it!

I used to have my tool box on the left side of the waste oil tanker.. in gound alignment rack was dope af
What kind of dude borrows a working tool and gives it back broke?
A terrible one.
Lots of guys especially careless ones because it’s not there’s
Congrats on not drinking! The world could use more of that for sure. Good for u and keep going strong
This is a fine young man with a great future. No drinking, good call.

Yes, definitely it’s only time until my hand slips and I really slam it against something😂. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to upgrade the sockets!
Nice setup! I wanna get me that same tool cart.
Thank you I appreciate it! I highly recommend it I love the cart I do roll it around often and it rolls nicely. Not bad for its price 👍
Hey who makes the headlamp you are wearing. Awesome videos.
Maxxeon makes it. I love this headlamp works amazing! Thank you I appreciate it!

Yes I agree. The plastic trays just take up all the room. I’m thinking about putting the sockets up top with my ratchets.
Dude I’ve never seen a socket drawer that low idk how you do it. Killer wrenches though I’ve been eyeing those for awhile.

The US general full bank service cart. The name makes more and more sense after hearing the cost of some of them tools.
I love the snap off badge thats funny
Thank you appreciate it! People thought I had snap on cart with snap off badge lol
Nice video! How is the box holding up? Good luck to you!

The best tools are those you can afford.

i hope you guys get paid for this content somehow. super entertaining
I know you said not yet but it’s looking like you need some more room for tools . Time to upgrade ?

Also there’s always marketplace as well.
that guy that broke your tool needs replace it! it's work shop code
You buy one pair of snap on pliers and you will wanna throw away all of those Mac pliers.
Especially the long needle nose. Not even knipex compare to snap on ones. Not one bit of give no matter how hard you press plus it’s impossible to push the handles together
@@valleygrown_dieseltech3444I’m about to test that theory I have Knipex Matco and just ordered my first plier set from snap on hopefully I love em
I have a US general 44” with top and works fine but all my tools are Snap on lol the tool box doesn’t do the work to feed my family just saying
That is correct I agree. I’d rather have a US general full of snap on than a snap on box full of U.S. general 😂 maybe one day I will upgrade to a nice used mac box. I really like there boxes.
