Great video and unliked other videos you actually showed what I was looking for, the fitment of the air filter. I was worried I would have to use a smaller filter because of space constraints but it seems to fit just fine.

So I was taking off that little plastic bit on the back and noticed the hose it split and also the plastic bit broke. Anyone know what it is called for a replacement

I had this problem last year.. there is a step by step pdf on one of the forums. It's the 5th bow motor. VERY tough to get out of the car.
Where did you get the washers from to pull the filter away from the radiator
Any local hardware store should carry the washers you need!!💯👍

I just installed that intake on my 350z and if I didn’t put it in correctly how would I know would there be a check engine light or the engine temp would be running hot? I took it for a test drive and and it seemed fine no check engine light it was at operating temp I just wanted to make sure
If your car is running rough or idling poorly, that would be an indication that you've not installed it correctly, but if everything is running well, then you're okay!
@@Zspeed I am hearing a hissing noise coming from my pcv valve now though, should I be concerned?
Check your hose clamps on your PCV valve, they could be loose!

yo do you need any tune for this to work properly or just the intake will give you hp???
The street version needs no tune, but the race version does! I'am getting a tune to maximize my power gains after I place a larger throttle body on this year!

No, you would never know that there is a cold air filter on your 350z with the hood closed!!👍🏁😁

You check engine light show? Cuz mine did after the install
You might need a ECU re-learn to adjust for more air flow!! There are lots of videos on UA-cam that explain how to do this procedure!!!
Do an idle relearn. Watch motorydyne G35 video on it it’s super easy to do. Make sure there’s no leaks and everything is sealed and the MAF is bolted good to

I prefer the short ram intake, cause this filter is certainly getting dirty and wet fast.
With the heat shield a short ram won't get that hot anyway.
Why does mine run like shit after the install?
My issue was a vacuum leak🫡
You may have an air leak somewhere, double check all of your fittings! The street tuned should run normally without a tune, but the race version will need a tune to run properly!
