That Varg wasn’t just keeping up dude, it was leading the way. Stunning. Although I reckon it has a little bit to do with the rider 😉 another great vid Matt.
Vargs are next level good in hard enduro . So many people think you need a clutch but I find I can hop over anything just as easy without it and so much better not having to manage engine revs .
Rideabily/traction is often related to the rate of change of the torque curve, not the amount if torque itself. While modern two strokes are much improved over those "back in the day", here we see that metric is so hard to control on the gas machines when compared to the linear torque delivery of the properly controlled electric motor.
Vargs are next level good in hard enduro . So many people think you need a clutch but I find I can hop over anything just as easy without it and so much better not having to manage engine revs . Pretty cool that the varg was competitive in dune drags against a mod 450 and busa but can be smooth enough to crawl shale hills
@MattSpears, with your skills level you should take a flight for europe and participate to the Erzbergrodeo, for sure you win or finish in the top 10. Great video as usual !! Cheers from France 🤟
The varg is unstoppable! It’s scary to see it outperform these 2-strokes on the trails. I can’t go without the sound and smell of the 2-stroke engines though. May they live on forever!
Damn this place looks awesome! Just getting back into riding after 15 years and this motivates me to become a better rider, would love to get my skill set up to ride some of these places.
The fact that you guys sent a trail that hard and had multiple bikes that made it to the top with eggs in tact, speaks to your crew's skill and how far bikes have come!
Matt, that trail was nuts! The views were amazing. So jealous man! Would love to live out there and enjoy spending seat time in the Montana mountains on my bike.
I am sure you are all getting help from "Betterhelp" after that ride! I was out of breath just watching. Never a dull moment with you Matt. Maybe take the Busa up there next!
No clutch and power everywhere is awesome with the electric bike..if you chuck some rocks in particular places in that river, you can really affect the natural growth for flora and fauna..good reason to keep coming back
The Varg is awesome and I think most people realize that...but most also aren't able or willing to part with $13k for one. That's a crazy trail...great riding and video!
Great video! I'm curious about the distance at the various clips showing battery life, and the total distance of the ride and battery life remaining at the end. I LOVE the ebike concept, range is the only thing making me hesitate! Thanks for posting.
I'm not a fan of electric bikes but that being said the varg is the right tool for that job!! You guys need to get some yamaha TW200's and do a long adventure ride! That would be some awesome videos
Recently starting riding myself and stumbled across both yours and Kincade's channels. Love what you both are doing. I'm in Missoula, MT, and work on Gaia GPS. Would love to work with you guys!
yea, i would think having a electic dirt bike for this type of riding would be useful, as you have full power once you crack the throttleand its probably lighter. as with the dirtbike your having to keep it from stalling while trying to spool up power. you got lots of balls dude
on super gnarly uphill terrain the Stark is a hands down winner on any terrain its just as good the only minus is the weight and thats just a matter of time
That low end torque. Dang! And the battery life seems more than adequate for a day ride. A reasonable 2-stroke replacement in some use cases. I've got to look up specs on weight, and it would be interested to see the whole group ride it and see how it is for different experience levels.
Look like a rock lake up in a crazy mountains of Montana outside of Livingston I went up there too early too much water and snow couldn’t get across the creek
The traction on vargs has to be experienced to be believed . The control over power delivery is un matched. I can have my bike on the stand and turn back wheel so slow that it’s barely moving and gradually spin it up from that to max speed with full control . Gas bike you have to deal with changing torque curve , clutching and gear changes it’s a lot to deal with
It looked like you were riding on a magical elevator going up that boss obstacle. You have insanely good control on that bike. I like rough trails too but my definition of a rough trail is different than yours. The Elephant Hill trail near Moab is rough for me. You could do that one with one hand I think.
For these kind of trails I’d need to be on a 150 haha. I when I was a teen I had a KLX140 that would nearly drive up a wall. I could do technical stuff that I wouldn’t dare to do now even on a 250. My riding ability pales in comparison to these guys though.

Let's gooo stoked to see your perspective on this video! Absolutely crushed it on that Varg, whoever wins that thing (hopefully me) is so lucky!!
Watching Matt ride is awe inspiring. So talented. All the guys did great. What a lake !
I love how positive you are with your homies on the ride! Good stuff!
Vargs are next level good in hard enduro . So many people think you need a clutch but I find I can hop over anything just as easy without it and so much better not having to manage engine revs .
When u have instant 100% torque from the rip that’s all the revs you need!
Matt, so glad to see you (finally!) wearing gloves! You're a good rider & that electric bike is a BEAST. Thanks for the entertainment.
I feel like Matt’s been wrestling the busa dirt bike for so long, that the varg weighs nothing

it's the rider, not the bike....always!
That Varg is so sick!

Love that ride. Took the 950 SE up there a while back. Parked in the meadow and walked the last section. Nice work y’all.
Incredible traction the way you accelerated up the tech. Pretty sweet. Wicked trail. 👍🏼👍🏼

mat you are a crazy talented rider
Stark Varg should be sponsor to this video.. Love when Matt posts..
That was gnarly, Matt! Great skills on the bike!
Beautiful scenery!
Can't wait to take delivery of that Varg!
Love your videos dood! Hope your channel blows up!
This whole video felt like an ad for the Varg. Not that it was intentional, it just looked far superior in this type of riding.
The varg is unstoppable! It’s scary to see it outperform these 2-strokes on the trails. I can’t go without the sound and smell of the 2-stroke engines though. May they live on forever!
This channel needs more subs!!! I look forward to uploads as much as I look forward to whistlin diesel.
Wish I had a bike when I was your age. My friend, Scrappy and I would have loved this challenge. You guys are living the dream!
Our boy's got MAD balance.
My brother & I are pretty good at hill climbing, learned in SoCal canyons. But that is next level.
going back down is the real challenge
You can fall down but not up. Should be easy 😂
That's what she said
Thanks for sharing this amazing ride and for having that positive attitude!
Damn this place looks awesome! Just getting back into riding after 15 years and this motivates me to become a better rider, would love to get my skill set up to ride some of these places.

"You gotta just ride up it" Truly inspiring words
You are a huge inspiration man, keep it up 👊
Watching just to see if you learned how useful creep mode is. That was great! Talented riders.
Absolutely awesome video guys!
Duuude been loving your videos lately. Big love from Australia homie! ❤❤
Don't need a clutch when you have nothing but awesome torque! 🤘🤘 Amazing video guys
Well timed release - this came an hour after Mr Bolts latest, quality enduro footage to take me away from a dark wet evening in the UK.
Thanks for the test - its incredibly good.
Great Video, Lovin that Stark and that was some serious riding skills as well.
Matt, that trail was nuts! The views were amazing. So jealous man! Would love to live out there and enjoy spending seat time in the Montana mountains on my bike.
That Varg is killing it. So cool.
That bike is taking quite the beating before you guys give it away, I hope who ever wins it loves it as much as you guys do.
Really good riding skills to ride Stark Vard on those technical trails..
my two favorite bike guys started collaborating can’t be happier
I am sure you are all getting help from "Betterhelp" after that ride! I was out of breath just watching. Never a dull moment with you Matt. Maybe take the Busa up there next!
best electric dirt bike advertisement to date, that was insane. I did not know they had that kinda range
50 miles or so of trail riding (from other videos I’ve seen).
Thay are 10990 deliver to your door right now

I love my varg! Most fun i have ever had riding a bike.
Wow who needs a clutch with that starkvarg. That place is epic dam and the sound of those rocks👍👍 iv gotta go there one day
Heck ya great video Matt!
why did u change ur name ),:
@@StreetSoundedits huh?
@@Bummotorsport oh never mind it still says BUM on the channel
So hype you and kincade did a video together!
Ah to be young and still immortal!
Haha right?! My old bones don’t like rocks and trees anymore.
I would think the electric bike has an advantage over the 2 strokes on the narly rock sections.
Some crazy terrain dude and great vid
Jeez, that wolf just walked up that mountain like it was nothing :O
I'm not a fan of electric bikes but that being said the varg is the right tool for that job!! You guys need to get some yamaha TW200's and do a long adventure ride! That would be some awesome videos
Varq, Suzuki or Honda really should e kicking you some bucks.
Try to imagine a Honda commercial with piggy as a testimonial to the GW durability.
Earliest I have ever been. Love your stuff man
You can see the torque on that electric bike!
Recently starting riding myself and stumbled across both yours and Kincade's channels. Love what you both are doing. I'm in Missoula, MT, and work on Gaia GPS. Would love to work with you guys!

that stark looks like so much fun!!🔥🔥
Dude that's one gnarly ass Trail
Waiting to see you on the Altis Sigma now !
Excellent!
The Varg makes it look so easy.
been looking at 300s for last year, got to say a varg is looking like a better option that battery life is unbelievable
16:10 holy cow this bike is crazy impressive.. ❤
I want to see the descent! I'd imagine some of those spots are more terrifying than going up!
Look like a rock lake up in a crazy mountains of Montana outside of Livingston I went up there too early too much water and snow couldn’t get across the creek
I bet the varg didn't lose power due to the altitude. That alone is pretty cool for anyone who rides high....
Does that thing just have unlimited traction or is it all rider skill? Watching the Varg have almost zero struggle is wild lol

At least it won’t have a bend or two in the pipe! Fukkkin AMAZEBaLLS! Cheers!!!!
Stark Future makes their first electric MX bike, turns out to be the best enduro bike too.
Can't believe they are not more hyped

Amazing video
Matt can ride!
love your videos bro
Cool video, Idea 💡 turn that buggy into electrice from that bike !
Dang, I lost my lunch in the car when the rage eating started
A trials bike would have been the call for this puppy.
I love e bikes, the varg rocks!
Great video always thanks
I love this channel 😃
Nice video
A new form of extreme mountain climbing.
Such a great challenge 😂 definitely gonna try it with the boysb
As a Stark i love that bike
