Awesome video You make great content and so much doing it. Electric has nice power but the sound of those engines made me smile. Once the battery is done so is the fun. Then drag it somewhere to recharge
I can’t believe the busa even stayed within spittin distance of that sand rail dude. Those things are probably pushin 1200+ hp. Props to you for having the cajones to ride that thing.
Hayabusa is such a legendary bike. It took 20 years to properly dethrone it. I still think the Hayabusa is better looking than a zx-14 but the 14 is a superb bike as well. H2 is the speed king now. Something about off-road conversions and engine swaps just makes me happy. Pretty much no one else will have anything like it wherever you go.
it took forever to dethrone it because it was such a monster that any country that looked at it, even japan, said whoa buddy that's a bit much there and capped the industry on production bikes. ;-) without the massive testbed of squids willing to die for free test data, development slowed a bunch just because it takes a lot longer and they have to pay for test data now instead of just harvesting it from people who already bought and destroyed bikes...
The best thing about this video is seeing how it does hammer down for long runs. You just never get to do that on pavement. It has a strong, durable engine for sure
Matt is one of the best riders of any motorbike than anyone else around. He can ride just about anything at a level that most cant comprehend. He has a gift that we get to experience with his channel. He is very humble and will help anyone out that he comes in contact with. He has a sense of adventure that pulls him to these awesome adventures that we get to experience with him through his channel. He does all this by himself and despite some doubters he has doesn't have any crew to help him other than what you see. He is truly a great person with a amazing sense of adventure that he has chosen to share with us. Keep on kicking a$$ Matt.
I'm old school with well over 250,000 street miles on an FJ1100 and FJ1200 so I'm able to imagine what 200 hp feels like and I am amazed what you do on that beast. This channel rocks!
Gotta love how even with a lack of traction, once the Busa finally hooks up it reels them in like nothing, while simultaneously popping a power wheelie! Such an amazing machine.
You made me lol fr..in under 2mins...at the top of the sand hill...as a guy that's riden bikes my whole life..thinking you might launch..then stopping a a dime..the laugh made the moment priceless🍻 thanks!
that teaser at the end ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can't wait! that's some great drone footage, it's so freaking cool that it managed to stay with the bike as it rolled down the hill RIP in pieces busa
The fact that the the 450 is on regular MX tires and not sand tires probably makes a huuuge difference. If it had a sand tire it would probably be much closer to the Varg!
They all have sand tires on the rear. If anything it's holding it back. Like for reference the KTM is putting down 50ish torque. The varg is putting down 900+. PEVs are wacky off the line.
@@autismion A little under 500ish. Ev will always be on another level with torque. It's nearly just throttle to power to the wheels. Hit the throttle, magnets move with the sprocket, sprocket moves the secondary with the wheel. Then direct drive hub is literally instant. Combustion you have air intake, spark plug ignition, fuel injection, piston movement, cam, gearbox, etc. Granted also speed is getting on another level too. But, gas will always come out on top for distance and time to refuel.
I had my suspicions about the Varg being able to deliver that much power under the heavy load for a sustained amount of time. I’m guessing the reason it’s reduces power after a few seconds at full throttle is to prevent it from overheating either the motor or more than likely the battery
@@boddysurferyes I understand. It’s called battery sag. Once the volts drop it can’t deliver the watts being demanded anymore and the ESC will shut off the power to prevent overheating due to high amp draw to make up for lost volts (volts x amps = watts). My point was more pertaining to the fact that the amount of watts required to deliver 80hp sustained under a heavy load such as hillclimbing in sand, would produce a lot of heat in a system as small as the Varg.
@@kraigvanderwyk1153 100%. Impressed the Varg didn't melt under that kind of use. I doubt they did this kind of durability testing over there in Spain 😂
Good meeting you. Awesome video! Calling me out for sandbagging?!!! lol After the turbo on the busa let’s rematch next June 2025! Your other videos are awesome like the content keep it coming.
Gawd that Suzuki has been through some shit 😂. It's almost unrecognizable from how it started and the fact you call it Būssy makes it even better. Also the circle wheelies on the Stark were clean as hell. Keep ripping Matt 🤙🏼
channel is so under rated.. some of the realist guys out there . awesome to see what parsons thought of all of them. have looked uo to him for years 🤘🏻🔥
We in Germany were in tears 😭 to have sadly witnessed our great messiah Matt Spears getting smoked by a desert racer. So after some discussion we all agreed it was time to level the playing field and, to bring fairness back Matt might consider re challenging on a Boss Hoss V-8; turbocharged of course 😉
So many people are in denial of an eletric bike being the fastest one out there. Beat a built 450. The 200hp street bike engine was pulling though, just couldn't lay down the power as fast. Change the sprocket on the varge and it might not...
I want to hit the sand dunes... That looks like so much fun. I need to wait a little bit longer in my back surgery recovery. The dunes look like a really good time. So next week's video, we see the hayabusa take some hard knocks! I was glad to see you on your feet after the bike tumbled down, throwing your hands up. You are absolutely insane. By the way, and I would like to ride motorcycles with you. Lol. I still have no idea what I am doing. But I'm going to do some really big and cool stuff pretty soon. I'm not quite 2 months out from that back surgery and I have already been riding motorcycles. It feels good, and I am not even remotely recovered yet. The Tiger 1200 is so much easier to handle, now. I'm in western Washington. Want to trail ride some PNW trails with a street bike sometime? Next summer video idea? I am going to ride my 2023 Tiger 1200 GT Explorer on dirt bike trails, for fun. And maybe my Burgman 650 Executive. It could do some of those, easily! Hah. Keep going, Matt! These really odd video ideas. You have of seeing what a street bite can do off-road doing different things with it. That's what we want to see. And you have really cool buddies. And you're genuine on camera and just being yourself. Keep that going! Hopefully, I will be able to join you next year for some really fun stuff. I was able to ride a mountain bicycle 6 days out of major spine surgery. Because I felt better at that point. Than I did before surgery. If you ever blow a disc in your back. And it isn't healed in 6 months, get surgery as soon as you can. 12.5 years was miserable. And I was still able to ride motorcycles up to 2 days before surgery. I waited almost 4 weeks before riding for the first time. Lol. I don't recommend being that extreme, but I'm just saying, it totally worked out... Keep going!!! Your videos are good! You're headed for some insane things. My insane goal is to jump a motorcycle off of a cliff and land at the bottom of the canyon safely. Hang glider... I want to do some really crazy. Fun stuff. It's all possible.

Yeah he’s really doing some fun stuff I like it a lot
keen to see his videos when his channel is larger and he has a higher budget
The goldwing would destroy them all
It would sink in the sand like a rock in honey
