Night Currency Failure - Civil Twilight vs. Night Flight

Follow along as I fail to successfully accomplish 3 night take offs & landings in my Cessna 177B Carindal. Refer to FAR 61.57 for the explanation on why these take off and landings did not qualify as night flight. #flysafe #flynebraska

Great video and happy to find your channel. I’m in the process of purchasing a 74/75 177B - there are more than a few on the production year fence. Original POH says 1974 and FAA says 1975 per serial number. Looking forward to some Cardinal adventures.

Nice video and explanation of Civil Twilight and Night Flight take off and landings. I plan to be at KFET on Sunday (8/21/22) for the Fly-In Breakfast. Always a good turn out and many friends.
