That was good for a couple of hours Chris, some mixed GWR/FGW liveries and picking up the difficult to track local China Clay workings. Lovely signals there too of course - a nice station and layout for a model!
Thanks Darren. As the China Clay working ran that morning it was too good an opportunity to miss, and getting some HSTs was a bonus as I won't get many chances to visit the GWR before they're phased out. Par is a lovely little station, and staying nearby helped.
Nice views from somewhere you don't see so much of. That prim female automated voice - "Great Western RAILWAY" - is peculiarly irritating though, isn't it.
Thanks Andrei. Yes she confused me to start with as that's the same voice that announces on Greater Anglia, so 'Great Western' was misheard as 'Greater Anglia' first time round!!

Very enjoyable video Chris, always good to see footage from Cornwall, and getting a freight working would have been a bonus for me.

No those days are sadly long gone. Now transported by road in refrigeration containers.
