Which Metal Gear would he prefer, and how would it kill him in an ironic fashion to continue the isekai adventures?

15:20 I love how Whisper is fully supportive of Tangle battling the Condiment King with nothing but food puns. This is the supportive couple dynamic we need to see more of the Sonic universe.
As a hard core Tails fan, even i know that the best boi would be outmatched by Shadow in a fight, both by pure strength and just general combat prowess. That one episode of Sonic X where Shadow tries assassinating Cosmo is a pretty good example.

16:58 In Sonic Battle, Tails and Emerl, with one Chaos Emerld, fought together against an Injured Shadow, and the best they could do was fight him to a stand still. I feel like that says everything anyone needs to know right there. The only characters that are taking Shadow in a fight are Metal, Blaze, and Sonic.

Amy and Rouge are really the only ones that haven't sung at some point in the series. Sonic sings in Underground, and he and Knux sing with Tails in Boom

Shadow the Hedgehog meets Agent Washington
If I had a nickel one of my questions involving sonic's family adopting someone ended with them wanting to kill sonic to keep his family all to themselves, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but its weird that it's happened twice, right?
So, what are your thoughts on the S-team from sonic X? A police owned formula one team specifically designed for especially high speed chases is... an interesting concept to say the least. That said, what if SEGA let up on the sonic X restrictions, and tasked you with bringing Mr. Highway Star himself and his team into IDW, family members who shall not be named not withstanding?
Ruin, has come for Starlines Isekai adventures. He now finds himself in the midst of a decrepit hamlet, filled with mutated wildlife, cunning hags, enraptured cultists, numerous undead, unsightly fish folk, and all sorts of horrors and monstrosities! All masking the sinister cosmic truth beneath. Does he work alongside the hamlet and the adventurers out of necessity, what does he think of the Ancestors exploits and how long before he becomes afflicted and meets his end? All this and more, under the ravenous clutching shadows…of the Darkest Dungeon.
My personal answer to the 22:48 question would be Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Specifically Chapter 5's ending going into Chapter 6. Those of you who know, KNOW.
For the both of you, do you tend to analyze what’s already happened in media you consume or do you like to make predictions? To give an example, another podcast about media I like that features someone in Canada and someone in the US focuses on A Song of Ice and Fire but unlike many in the fandom they prefer to discuss what’s been published rather than theorycraft. Pretty sure Caboose ends up accidentally killing Starline. Starline shouldn't have mentioned they should be on the same team.

To Ian and Kyle what are your personal headcannon to how the Chaotix as a group formed as a detective agency? How’d everyone meet? How did they get saddled with Charmy?
I'm not Ian or Kyle, but here's mine: the Japanese Chaotix manual says Espio is a detective. After the game ends, Knuckles goes back to being the guardian of the Master Emerald and Mighty is a nomad so he wants to wander around. That just leaves Vector, Charmy, and Espio. They probably all liked each other enough to stick together, Espio probably invited them to join his detective agency, and Vector's bombastic personality means he assigned himself as head detective. Espio just lets Vector call himself that. 😅

Just stumbled upon this podcast in the past day or so, and I'm a little confused as to how the whole question aspect works. I get that on the end-of-month live shows there's superchat submitted questions, but how are the "standard" questions submitted for all the other weekly shows?
Standard questions are submitted via their social media feeds, email and UA-cam comment, though there hasn't been an episode dedicated to standard questions for a long time due to the amount of payed questions they get. I think the best shot you'd have is either hoping you win the giveaway question (which is held on Bluesky, Twiiter etc), or waiting for the live Q&A and sending the question as soon as possible. Otherwise you'll have to hope somebody else sponsors your question.

I think it might be going a bit far to say Tails couldn't defeat Shadow. He would just need the right traps or vehicles to pull it off. Tails nearly defeated Shadow in Sonic X season 3 and evil Tails "Nine" defeated or at least imprisoned Shadow for a significant time in Sonic Prime. And I am pretty sure Sonic Boom Tails could defeat Sonic Boom Shadow throught he use of some sort of wacky sci-fi trap.
I think you’re totally right on that front. Would Tails be able to beat Shadow if they were fighting with their bare hands? No. I think Tails would give Shadow a good fight, but Shadow wins hand to hand almost every time.
Now, could Tails *build* something to beat Shadow or make a *plan* to beat Shadow? That’s when I’d say they are evenly matched. Because Tails is a genius the same way Shadow is a one man army, and Tails isn’t a physical push over the same way Shadow isn’t stupid, so I say it’s fifty fifty in that case.
I can’t really see any circumstance where Shadow would even come close to losing. Maybe if it was IDW Shadow with full jobber aura, then sure.
@@RealBroccoliHourIt's pretty obvious that IDW and Prime nerfed him for the sake of the plot. On the other hand, in the games he becomes increasingly more powerful (also Sonic). In Sonic X Shadow Generations gameplay he can now use Chaos Control without the need for a Chaos Emerald.
@@RealBroccoliHour Any fictional character can beat any other fictional character if that is what the writer wants. Or rather-- if that is what is best for the story. While most certainly Tails shouldn't overcome Shadow in a direct fight-- if you are incapable of imagining a way in which Tails could restrain or trap Shadow in order to stop him-- perhaps from (whether conscious or under influence) killing someone he cares about, that's just a lack of imagination on your part.
Perhaps-- instead-- let's reframe this as "Tails has to stop Shadow or Shadow is going to shortsightedly do something he would later regret" then I think you would find it easier to imagine a way for Tails to best Shadow at least temporarily.
