    I tried the recipe and made it in my baking sheet to cut in squares and it was perfect . Everyone loves it thanks for your help ❤

    Came out real good. Thank you for this. I only used like 5oz of milk though. I also put it under the broil for about 20 seconds to get dark look.
    Delicious.
    My daughters ate them up. My brother is here from Belize and he enjoyed them as well. My mom is also here for the weekend because it’s her birthday. She makes powder buns as well with her own recipe and hers are as just as good. But she loves these as well.
    Had to make some more just now. Yup, 10pm at night but I am waiting for them to cool down. She’s up waiting as well them lol

    Do I have to use evaporated milk if I don’t use eggs. Can I use regular milk

    Do I add more milk if I want to make them sto cut in squares?

      If you add more wet, it'll spread and drop like a cookie. If you want bars, you have to just press the dough into the pan and bake whole then cut after. I have the mix out for sale too now. Please share for me. www.barepantryshow.com/product-page/belizean-powder-poda-bun-mix

    I put chocolate morsels, white chocolate morsels, Carmel morsel lol get the idea and still put raisins. My husband doesn’t even want the raisins anymore but when I make it for other people I put raisins

      An African friend told me that they call them rock bun because they are cracked at the top.

      That’s why I sell the dry mix without anything added to it. The customer can make it plain or add stuff to it. Do I know you from Belize? 🇧🇿
