Best dlc armor is the death knight set with alternate grave bird chest (female character) and fire knight chest, Mesmer helm, young lion arms and legs
Radahn's armour looks so.. new and unused. Like a freshly painted action figure. It feels OFF but I guess that's the whole point.
Right? I’m used to armors looking like we stole them off someone who slept, bathed, sweat all up in their armor.

I dont mess with the altered set enough, kinda forget its a thing. Need to go through some of my armor and see what i can do!

For some reason it won't allow me to purchase the leg pieces for any boss after Rellana. Some of the arm pieces wont appear for purchase either, but they should be complete sets
I know that the set for Gaius had the legs a separate drop from a wolf riding enemy just past the boss arena, which is really stupid.

Wish Boc could get rid of cheek horns on Young Lion’s helm, ditto Radahn’s skid lid. The cuirass, gauntlets and greaves are really powerful looking; the tusks just look silly.

She doesn’t have her own set, just a unique chest piece while wearing the oathseeker helmet, arms, and legs.
@@SirCairzalot Ok, I just thought as you did just different helmets on the Fire Knight and alternative Gravebird chestpiece I thought that it would be more an alternative Oathkeeper piece.
I did that for those sets cause those other helms and chest piece went directly with the set. Grave bird is the same but with shorter feathers, and all the extra head pieces for fireknight all drop from different versions of the fireknight. Leda chest piece can go with just about any armor in the game, which is nice.
@@SirCairzalot Fair do's. I see it as an alternative Oathkeeper myself. Maybe that could be an idea for another vid, an Elden drip vid?
@Freyafanboy90 oh yeah, i have some personal mixing of armors that i do with all the armor in this game.
I hope that you do them side by side next time aswell :) Easier to see the difference

Where do you find the gravebird chest piece alternate?
Look just for "Gravebird Armor" in the Fextralife wiki, it's in the starter area. The one in the video is called "Gravebirds Blackquill Armor" and it's quite far ahead in the DLC so it's good the alternative one is close

Everything in this game looks amazing except for the armors. Idk how fromsoft does it, their world & character designers are prodigies, but damn they must’ve found their cosmetic artists on temu. Most of the armors are the most ridiculous armors in video games

I like the chest piece
The Capes ruin everything my god. It is very hard to play with them being super distracting.. Eldin Ring in total has worse armor sets than Dark Souls. Bernthal Armor is the best looking armor in the game for me.
Dude 100%. The armour sets are such a weak point in this game it’s sad. I alternate between like 3 different set pieces and that’s it. The rest are straight up ugly or have some dumb ornament gimmick that ruins what could be nice sets
Darksouls in general is just better imo
