Just got my 2023 Vaquaro. Looking all over the Interweb for items for the new bike. Have found a reputable slip on exhaust company I’m planing on ordering from ( SharkRoad ), new LED lights and auxiliary lights from Engineered Adapters and now your choice of wind screen ( smoked) from Klockworks ( 9inch smoked). Keeping my stock seat after I discovered it had a factory insert slot for a drivers back rest ( already installed) and new highway pegs ( long horns ) on the way!, Yup,, I’m smilin! Thanks to guys like yourself who put out vids for the world! Cheers and thanks. Richard Aucoin. Trenton Ontario Canada.
Just got my 2023 Vaquero today and I am really happy I found your channel. 90% of the mods you did are budget friendly, look super cool and exactly what I will be doing to mine. Especially the apes. Although you mentioned JSR , I didn’t see a link on any of your vids for just these bars. I’ve been watching your channel for about 6 days straight and was probably the deciding factor in me picking up my new bike today. Keep posting and I’ll keep following along. Much appreciated 💪🏽🔨💪🏽🔨💪🏽🔨
Thanks for your videos. I am seriously considering this model for the near future. All I've owned have been Harley's and at this point they are too damn expensive regardless of how much I've loved all of the ones I owned, and I have nothing to prove to any of the "Harley Bros". You videos are giving me ideas and helping me understand what to get first such as the Ivan's flash with better intake and exhaust. I really like those Freedom 2 into 1 pipes.
I live in NH. Love riding here. I live near the coast and I've ridden all the way up to the Franconia Notch area and back. Hoping to go up that way Labor Day week.
@@AJXLMedia I went up the Mt. Washington Auto Road in my 06' RAM years ago, my wife freaked out then, so it's a No Go on the bike unless I go up by myself. LOL! I bought a 21' Vaquero this Spring, new leftover, I've put 1800mi on it so far. Put the passenger seatback/luggage rack & power outlet on it (Factory), taller windshield (6"), tempted on the Clockworks, but can't seem to find it when I look for it. Typical for me. Having owned a 79' GL1000 w/a Vetter Fairing and 2 different 79' KZ1000 ST's, I love it. Handles great for a 900+lb bike. I'm only 5'7", so the bars aren't an issue, or the foot pegs. Stock exhaust, seriously considering the ECU Flash. Hit the Fairs if you come up here in the Fall, I can give you a few places to check out. Lots of neat out of the way places in the Tri State area, NH, ME & VT. Hell, drove to South Hero, VT to buy my 2nd 79' KZ1000 ST years ago. Didn't see "Champ" though, being on Lake Champlain. 😉
I’m planning to upgrade from my a 2013 BMW R1200RT. We usually ride long distances, so my bike of choice has to meet 4 criteria: 1) Heated seat 2) Heated grips 3) Electronic cruise control 4) Frame mounted fairing. Oh, and I don’t want to spend $25k on it. Without a doubt that bike will be the Vaquero. Great upgrades to your bike dude, best to you.
That's great to hear! It is definitely the best value bike for the money. Finding accessories can be tough but you will have to get creative which can be fun. And no one else will have the same bike.
Thank you for your review, I changed the speakers but engineered adapters are backorder ugh, I installed clear view windshield with 4 way vent, no buffeting and clean air, power commander 6 or ivan reflash is a must, passenger footboards match the front, added a rider backrest, chopped off the heal shifter, personally I hate them, they lock my foot in. Oxford heated grips, get the cruiser ones, touring dont fit the throttle collar, kawi passenger backrest complete is $800,00 a little ridiculous but I'm going to pull the trigger, thanks for the info, I have a 2021 vaquero and after the mods I'm starting to like it, btw I pulled off all the red striping and decals the same day I bought it! Bike looks 100x better in solid grey, decals on saddle bags were so cheesy and the lines are all wrong! Great views, I live here in NH, toll road is a good way to burn out your brakes, hike the mountain! Its a tourist trap!
haha that's awesome!! You have done a majority of the mods I have done on my bike, there are other videos on the channel if you want to check them out. I puled all my graphics off too. Thanks for watching.
Love it. I have the same 2019. Amazing bike. I got excited seeing your Bluetooth adapter, but it looks like my bike has a cap over it instead of a power outlet…
The power outlet is actually a Kawasaki accessory you can buy for $39. I made a video on it. The Bluetooth adapter I bought doesn't stay in the adapter when you are riding fast or acceleration. Thanks for watching!
@@AJXLMedia it allows me to ride year round here in Utah. I've tried heated gloves but they really hinder my ability to finely control the clutch. Heated grips and hand guards and I can wear full finger gloves.
What is up?! AJXL 😎 When you replaced your stock turn signals with the Denali ones, did you have to buy a "signal stabilizer" for using LEDs? Or were they basically plug & play with stock wiring? Trying to clean up my front & back end.
I’ve been riding more upright/ standard bikes recently because cruisers were destroying my spine. How would you rate the suspension on it? I always pictured myself on a bagger someday, but I’m liking riding upright and being able to use my legs to absorb bumps in the road.
I would say for a bagger it is about standard. Harleys might be balanced a little better as the weight feels lower but I have not put enough miles on one to really say. Compared to a regular cruiser yes there is a lot more weight there; this bike is 900lbs vs. a cruiser at 600lbs. The handlebars on my bike do help out quite a bit. And the more miles you ride the better it is. Thanks for watching!
Bike looks great!! Are you planning on doing a sissy bar for your passenger? I just installed Kawasaki one. Looks ok only comes in chrome though.. 😕 best thing about it is it’s a quick disconnect.
What options does it have for a backrest. Only found the kawasaki one n its too low on the passengerside bk. Do like uts quick disconnect. Any advice on more options?
I love the mods on it. Takes the bike from nice to bad ass. How hard was it to find the mods you made? It seems like there isn't much out there for the Vulcan lines
@@AJXLMedia I know there isn't a lot out there for my Vulcan 900. The best part about the Vaquero, it's so much cheaper. gives you more money to upgrade. Love what you did with the bike. It looks and sounds good.
Wish he would've covered that. The OEM bars have limited adjustment height due to the dash. With an offset riser (if you can find one for the Vaquero) will have to contend with the gas tank.

On my way to trade in my softail for a Vaquero, your videos helped alot bro!
haha oh wow cool
Great content, mate! Thank you. To replace the stock handlebars, did you also have to replace the cables/wires? (brake + clutch + electrics)
No you don't have to with that setup. Any larger and you would.

I bet they are. I don't have a problem with cold hands, I'm more on the side of keeping them cool haha. Let me know what you find.

The suspension was ok but a little squishy for my tastes. There isn't a lot of aftermarket but would definitely look into replacing them.
You still got this bike?? Haven't seen anything new in awhile, love all the mods you've done though!!
No unfortunately I sold it and now looking for the next project lol

I’m really planning on buying this same bike can y help me out what the fuel mileage like on this bike how far can u ride in one tank?? Thanks
250 miles maybe with a chip and pipes; maybe 300. I didn't watch it that close. I also don't stay off the throttle much
Where did you get the passenger foot pegs?

Do your handlebars hit the dash when you turn them all the way to the left or right.
Wish he would've covered that. The OEM bars have limited adjustment height due to the dash. With an offset riser (if you can find one for the Vaquero) will have to contend with the gas tank.
I don't recall that it did. Maybe slightly at the complete turn. Nothing that affected me at all.
Bro I need that hat. Where did u get your hat ser?
HaHa! Cheers. On amazon I think. McLaren Race Team.
How tall are you ?
5 11
I agree with you on the Ivan Flash. I got 25 more hp from Ivan. My bike is faster in every gear.
WOW that's awesome, you can tell the difference. so much smoother like the bike can breath.
