"Charcoal isn't used in crafting at all" Jordan, I'm fairly confident that you can use charcoal anywhere you can use coal, except for trades. And most of the time that's true even in modded too, not just vanilla
except there's no charcoal block (unless that was added since I last used charcoal)

@@notaseat5934 torches also weren't one of the options. It was what can be crafted into a storage block. Charcoal blocks are modded. Not what can't be used to craft something else

It's actually the replacement doesn't have a difference, so he interpreted it right. Unless you're talking about the last level, which you should have specified.

Favorite preparations; not too particular, so long as they're caramelized, roasted, or otherwise cooked until tender. I suppose that I do have an extra step for garlic. I prefer to skin and then smash the garlic a little (no mincing or whatever) and then toss them into dishes mostly whole to serve as succulent gems for the lucky eaters who find them.
