Gonna keep it simple I have over 27h in and I love this game. Plenty of improvements left to make, including making mid to late game more difficult, but it's already so good.
Me too. The game was based around a bunch of concept art the devs never got to use, so it would be awesome to have all that in a nice package people could show off
Agreed! FWIW the game gets a lot easier after you figure out the early game. This is both good and bad. You feel more powerful, but often less rewarded for being clever. That said there are tons of moments where you will still slip up and be punished for mistakes. There's an awesome push and pull, but the ability to get high tier gear and ammo is just a bit too easy right now. Soaking in the world is what really makes this game over the top worth it along with all the tense moments and cinematic experiences.
@802Garage True. I feel like a lot of the difficulty drop off comes with the AI being kind of dopey overall. Like the mechs aren’t so scary once you realize they don’t really have a way to deal with a scav on high ground with a grenade launcher and solid cover. They’re too easy to lead into tight spaces and get stuck on terrain
Great vid - you can loot rig mods and weapons/mods that you left when you die if you go back into the map again on the next run (you'll see a RIP marker on the compass) - head to that and search the ground until you get an 'press E to loot' option and you get your stuff back - you still need to extract though to safely get it back. If you look closely, your dropped loot takes the form of a pouch with a hand hanging out of it.
You've got it with how intense this game can be when you go out on runs. It's really been hooking me. Every time I go out it's a little story. Can't wait for the art book Best 2 solutions I've seen for water is: A: Soft lock your stuff in a vault and loose vendors B: Make Water a currency to increase it's value I think a mixture of both is nice
@@Voice_InMyHead Nothing announced I'm afraid, but it started out with a lot of concept art and world building. I think I heard it was intended to be an art book, then the idea grew. They have to do an art book for this game. Being as they released the soundtrack, it's strongly assumed they will, I'd speculate around released. But I hope before then. But the moment they do I'm snapping it up, most intriguing game world I've seen for ages, love it. Again sorry for misleading you!
With the sight and barrel not aligned thing causing bullets to hit the terrain, it could be a bug or a height over bore issue. That is, the barrel of the weapon (where the bullets come out) is lower than the sights (where you are aiming). This feature is often found in more "realistic" titles and could be a reason why your shots are hitting the cover in front of you instead of the enemy. But that concludes my comment for the algorithm. It's a fantastic review, one I'll share to my discord mates
How can we work for the other factions? When one faction you work for can just jack your body? To me that makes zero sense. Believe me thoes 3 factions dont need us they can use our bodies. I rather work for the people who needed to survive.
I think it’s just a matter of being the underdog. Like all of the soldiers are so jacked out with tech and stuff that they can’t sneak in and sabotage stuff like we can. But yeah it seems a bit beneath these superpowers to rely on us when they try to kill us the rest of the time
@@Voice_InMyHead I think its moreso that your the "Guy they call in when they don't want something traced to them." That, and this is a war that's going on across the entire planet, so they might not always have the ideal amount of resources and need an extra helping hand or two.
@@wandereringshadow8658True, true. I just assumed they were so kitted out for guns blazing that they needed someone who specialized in not being noticed
@@Voice_InMyHead You're less relied on and just more "convenient" than sending in *actual* units to do a job. @@tyler89557Very true. When you talk to the quest givers though, they’re like, surprisingly polite? Then again, I imagine that is why they’re in that position to begin with
Couple things... The tombstone currently works as intended. You get your weapon, and its mods and rig upgrades returned to you. It isn't intended to return bullets, meds, or loot. The AI allies do spawn and work as currently implemented. They aren't great so I don't suggest using them for that reason.
Yep! That’s why I put the note in the video mentioning that had been patched. The hurricane killed my power and delayed my upload, but at the time of making the video neither of them worked
@TrentCantrell Solid plan. The devs have already cleaned up some of the bugs I mentioned so hopefully it won’t be too long before it’s in a much better state
@@zombiemike2284 SAME. My only real issue right now (aside from the bugs of course) is the lack of content. More maps, more missions, more enemies, more guns
@@zombiemike2284 I think they fixed the crashing issue with elephant mausoleum, at least the one with the pipes entrance. Scorched Enclave is my easy run map

It does take a while to get to that point, but once you’ve got some decent experience keeping your distance and good weapons it does become pretty easy to deal with the massive enemies. Mechanically the game is still a bit of a hot mess though, so that’s fair
So 10 seconds into the video and this dude already knows the algorithm better than anyone else. One million views incoming.
I’m glad you think so, and here’s hoping!
Rough state, but solid enough to have loads of fun! Looking forward to seeing how the devs truly evolve this grim dark goodness.
You and me both! They were pretty transparent about how rough a state it would be in, but I’m just glad we get to play it early regardless

Same, I think it definitely needs some additional content too, especially some parts for SMGs and weapons other than rifles, but definitely agree!
I kinda wish they would release an art book, would be great to dive deeper into the lore.

Incredible video quality for such a small channel. Very well put together.
@jakubmuron9030 Thanks for saying so! Means a lot, considering the struggle getting it finished with the hurricane and all
Had to check the subscriber count after this. I just assumed it was a bigger channel. Keep up the great work brother 🙏
@@StryckerRebelThanks! Will do!

Yep! When I first recorded the video that feature didn’t work, which is why I marked in the video that it had been patched
