YT channel "Mobile Suit Blackman" does reviews of all of these huge and over the top gunpla stuff, pretty sure he compared this and the dendro in his review
As awesome as that would be, it's probably not worth it from a business standpoint because even though a lot of people would want it, not a lot of people would have the money to buy it or space to display it. Hell, just getting one of these catapult sets is already a big deal.
There's the 1/1700 EX Model Archangel if you're interested. I have no idea how bigass it will be if it's in 1/144 or 1/100 scale though. It ain't much, but it's honest work.
Seeing them putting stuff out like this makes me kinda hopeful for a few models of the ships, like the ones from IBO, and maybe that'd lead to getting LOGH models.
It would be dope if Megahouse can release Archangel's *Lohengrin Positron Cannon* just below that catapult deck complete with the super HUGE blast effect 👀.
You can get dummy batteries that plug into the wall instead of using real ones as long as your power is close enough. I use this for my perfect grade exia and unicorn and their lights will never dim from low battery too
Archangel is my favorite Gundam franchise ship, just looks awesome and is super sleek. Would love to have a display of the whole ship, and I would have invested in getting the catapults and the bridge... but I only build and collect 1/100 scales exclusively. I prefer the size, presence, and details of the MG size kits, so I guess thankfully my scale preference just saved me a shit ton of cash. I'm sad, but I'm a little less broke for it.
Whenever a suit launched in the show and pulled out the cable in back with takeoff force alone, I always imagined the suit standing slightly out of alignment and either tear the cable in half or rip the back wall out behind it, flushing all the engineers straight into space. Or it'd be like most phones I've had where the attachment point gets super loose and eventually it can't be recharged because the cable keeps falling out overnight. Maybe that's what _really_ inspired the invention of the N-Jammer... Jammer... Canceller... thingy.
It also seems to be missing the screen that says which suit is on and 3 launch signals. I can't help but think that Mecha also put the LEDs backwars since it lights up inwards rather than out
I remember they are also now selling the Strike hangar and the Archangel Bridge too so if you have two of these, the two Strike hangar, you can re-create parts of Arch Angel already.
It reminded me of G.I. Joe Mobile Command Center with Joes/Cobra as Mobile suits. 😍😍 If only they scaled smaller, then It'll be perfect for a full ship.
Can't the LED be placed in reverse so that the pulse would come from the inside of the catapult instead of outside going in? I think that would make it a much better display.
So we'll need 2 of this kit and then the hangar and then the Bridge but that's gonna need to be a little further back since it's almost toward the back of the ship as opposed to these three being in the front. Edit, Also you which 00 ship? S1 or 2's? Cuz either way it'll be cool to have
You're in luck. The Ptolemy container exists. It's pretty hard to find nowadays though. I'm hoping they reissue it eventually like they did with the White Base set (and by they I mean Megahouse)

i need dis. and all the catapault decks. ever. like i need a Ra Cailum, Albion, Gray Phantom, White Base, Space Ark, Jean De Arc or whatever ship it was from Victory Gundam. heck i'd love for them to do the hull of a Salamis/Salamis Kai, where we can string up to 4 MS on the top of the Salamis, as seen in MS IGLOO
For anyone picking this up as I have. Be CAREFUL with the launch booms, the wiring in mine was so bad that extending and collapsing the arms chewed up the wiring. I had to open them up, fix and add support to the wires and close it back up. Even with that, mine is open 100% of the time now, just in case. P.S. Also careful with any waterslides that contain red, the red can dissolve quite easily with even with very careful handling.

I'm halfway hoping that we end up getting a full Archangel ship, piece by piece (freaking expensive in the end...) and if they end up doing a Minerva, would be awesome to have a spot to put the HG METEORs like they are stored in the show. Glad I got a second one not too long ago :D
This is so nuts...so nuts, it's so big too, not sure where I would put it. My hobby room is big, but I've got too much stuff already. Something else I think about seeing this...why not buy 2 and then make the rest of the ship :).
@Mecha Gaikotsu how would you transform a chest section from a non-core fighter Gundam gunpla into something reminiscent of a core fighter? Like, say, the chest region of the Strike Freedom, but with the energy cannon able to hide...
The only reason I won't buy one is because I don't have the room to display it properly. How big exactly is it fully extended? And no adapter for the Real Grade Strike?

build kits == Build Fighters/Build Divers kits? Given there are at least a few based off of the Seed Revive (in fact, preceded it), yeah, that's probably do-able.

Based on those proportions, the Archangel would be around the size of a small car. Space concerns are no joke, especially in Japan.

I wish there were some LEDs in the back so when you got it in its catapult configuration you could see what's inside.
I was thinking the same, couple of white LEDs in the corners would really make it pop!

Well, one thing is for sure: RG God will be in scale (1/144) compared to RG Hi-Nu that broke the rules & blew up its size like nobody's business.
