I finished building mine a few days ago, really enjoyed the build and the finished result! It took a bit longer to clean up both the nubs and panel lining than I expected due to the plastic colors, but beside that it’s so awesome!
I just popped my runners out of the plastic this morning. And i was surprised and love just how vivid the colors are. Its nit wholly a hazard color scheme 😅
This is one of those rare designs that, while it is great, I cant help but wish it was a Sword Raider Gundam instead of a Calamity. Part of that is because the Aile Calamity is already such a great variant of calamity. But it would be cool to see variants of each of the 3 seed villain gundams. Plus, a sword raider transformed into a jet form with those dope swords as its wings would be a fantastic upgrade. All that being said, this Gundam has everything going for it.
Man, I hope they do a Unit 1 and give us unique stickers for their numbers like 1,2 and 3 that would be pretty cool Equally nice to see the Sword Calamity Gundam
Just a warning, if you do ever think of getting the Sword Calamity, get this one, the high grade conversion kit sucks, the “conversion” parts suck, they’re just pure orange
every time i see a 1/100 pbandai kit it makes me sad because all the kits that i think look cool are mostly pbandai or out of print like this one, its not that i cant buy pbandai kits its just they are only in stock when i cant buy them
God I love this version of the Calamity Gundam, but it also reminds me that we have had no modern version of the BuCUE or LaGOWE at all in 1/100 scale. The HG kits are great fun, but man. Man I want me my giant mecha doggos.
there are 3 variants of Calamity, glad to see if bandai can make variant from Forbidden gundam, Forbidden Blue next time since it got the same series with Sword calamity
I just bought this and the regular calamity. I couldn't help myself and ordered the aile of ebay and Wil have it tomorrow. Out of all the bad guy seed suits the calamity is my favorite. 😊 plus you can swap out seed backpacks as far as I know anyway.
All seed mobile suits are pretty small compared to Universal Century mobile suits they pretty much never go over 18 meters in height unless its a destroy gundan or mobile armor

It’s my first 3rd party kit I’ve ever bought, and I would love your take on it. ( I’m actually building it as I’m texting this.)
It's really funny how the impulse and the calamity Gundams mimic the strike Gundam down to a T 😂🤔 what we need to see next is a perfect variation of both of those second generation Gundams
There's the destiny impulse rg... has the 2 sword impulse anti ship sword, 2 beam cannons, beam boomerangs, and the destiny wings and beam shield, it's basically a perfect impulse minus the missles and railguns from the blast impulse
LOVE the color scheme but man that shiny plastic is ugly! Definitely a kit begging for a matte coat. Easily the best looking orange Gunpla kit I've seen though.

So it looks mg but internally not so much. Basically it's hg 1/100 with mg details on the outside. It's actually better than the og master grades in alot of ways . I have all the fm kit's so far except for the raider and chaos. Next.😊

For the double beam, the instructions recommends moving one of the hands to the bottom of the handle, so you can angle it more.

Huh, I thought the calamity was bigger than that. Was expecting it to be simmilar head height to the sinanju.
