Also noticed Daxter's index and middle finger are bent differently and inconsistent. His middle is fully extended, while his index is more relaxed. It could be possible Daxter was originally going to flip Pecker off middle finger only, though the animation was changed to have his index hastily extended too, regardless of it still being offensive in other cultures.

According to google, Heavy Rain *was* meant to have nudity though, so I wonder how many were actually just for cloth physics and how many were jokes or cut content

The Sims one is specifically animated so that the two characters are always in a position that they are not clipping through any part of the bed. Its easier to do that than to unload them and load them back in.

So, the two fingered salute was used at offending armies to say "ha ha, I still have my fingers and you don't!" This might be a little inaccurate, considering my dad told me this around 2 years ago
the DMC5 one is interesting because that means rather than remove it entirely they decided to keep the fully animated section in and gives a very interesting perspective
If i had to guess fro the DMC V scene, it's likely the mocap actor waiting out of the virtual camera view for him to walk into view, rather than a panning shot.
This part of the animation is now used in the "mystery man" DLC of DMC5 when this scene is shown again from a slightly different angle. It might have originally been derived from the voice and motion capture actor Dan Southworth walking into the shot, but whatever the case, it was good enough to use in a final product, although not the main release.
I'm not too surprised about the Heavy Rain winkydoodle, considering they modeled out Elliot Page's entire nude body for a shower scene in Beyond Two Souls.
