The ballistics for .327 Federal Magnum are really incredible! I'm surprised that more people haven't adopted it. Thanks, Tools!!!
Very cool round.
Its a EAR SPLITTER!!
I agree this is a regular carry for me, my S&W 3” barrel is painful to shoot
327 magnum was impressive. Clothing test are so cool. Hard to say please take your coat 🧥 off before I shoot🤣🤣
It mirrors the ballistics of the new 30 super carry and there's been hipe behind that caliber too.
I recently moved to a house with wild boars and many other wildlife around.
The other afternoon as I was helping my neighbor with trash duties my neighbor, a 87 years young Lady with all her wits about her and very active comes out from her garage with a S&W 32 mag revolver in a holster and when I asked about it and inspected it she proceeded to tell me that one day 10 years ago she killed one of the largest Bobcats on record in Florida and in her property at 25 yards using it.
The rounds she was using appeared to be gold dots.
Nice!
I've had a Ruger SP-101 in 327 Federal for at least a few years now. I love it! I prefer plinking with 32 H&R Mag ammo, but for carry it's Gold Dot 327 Federal.
Was never really interested in 327, but you and gun sam have been doing some good testing on them and have my interest up.
Lucky Gunner also has a great video on why 32 caliber is the best pocket carry caliber. You should check that out too.
Pretty cool round, but I honestly wouldn't go out of my way to find one if it weren't for doing these YT videos. The ammo is just too expensive for what it is.
@@ToolsandTargets gun sam uses 327 for his daily. Thats the biggest reason i even gave it any attention at all. Never traditionally been a fan of 25, 32, 380, etc but you guys keep doing the 327 and the results on it are actually pretty impressive. I dont foresee me switching from my 9mm or 357/38 guns, but i do find it interesting.
@@ToolsandTargets It is a handloaders round, and to be honest except for capacity a 38 spl will do anything a 32 will do. Hell a 22lr will kill varmints, or predators if the shot is placed correctly. The only problem with the 22lr is the reliability of the rimfire primer. But it seems the quality is getting better, I rarely have misfires with the good ammo. Before the internet most people owned a shotgun, a 22lr rifle, maybe a 30-30 lever action, and sometimes a 38 spl handgun or a small Colt 25acp. That was the normal farmers arsenal post WW2.
In Feb. of this year I picked up that Taurus 327 and fell in love with both the .32 H&R and .327 Federal, although I do find the kick between the two to be very significant. After shooting the Taurus a bunch I came to really appreciate the .32 H&R, so much so that I picked up the Charter Arms Professional MK IV 3" barrel 7 shot in 32 H&R and haven't looked back since. It is great a growing high quality testing channel such as yours showing off these fantastic calibers. Please keep these calibers in your testing lineup.
Nice! I think they're great rounds.😎👍
I haven’t seen ANY 32 H&R Mag ammo. 32 S&W Long has been the easiest to find.
@@charlesmckinley29 Midway carries it.
@@TheJHMAN1 thank you.
YEP - 3" BARREL MAKES A GOOD BIT OF DIFFERENCE -- DID FOR ME ANYWAY
Others have mentioned that hollow point rounds don't expand much when their velocity is below a certain speed (which I'm sure varies by brand and model of projectile).
For that and some other reasons, people have suggested to me that I use wadcutters as a defensive round in my .32 H&R Magnum revolver. The edges do a lot more damage than a JHP that doesn't expand (and thus acts like ball ammo).
I like my little snubbie--it's easier to conceal in warmer weather than my usual CZ PCR.
I've heard that jacketed hollowpoints aren't necessarily a better projectile choice for small calibre handgun defensive ammo as the bullets don't reliably expand the way they were designed to. Wadcutters in .32 and ball nose in .25 may be preferable
I don't own either of these calibers, but I am very interested to see this. If S&W would reintroduce a J frame in 327 Magnum with a 6 round cylinder I'd buy one, and then I'd have to special order the ammunition for it, Lol.
Thanks for bringing us this very interesting round of Jelly Time testing.
It's a cool little round for sure.
I love the 327 Turbo!
Ruger currently makes one in LCR
A year later, Lipsey's releases a new S&W J Frame exclusive, 6 shot 32H&R Magnum, only 16 oz snubby. I have a older S&W 632 in 327 FedMag, but was super expensive. I might pick up the Lipseys special.
@@TXGRunner I’ve seen them. I’d love to have one. I might not be able to resist, Lol.
Tools is doing a livestream right now. You should hop on if you can.
I bought into. 327 several years ago, I hand load not just .327 but 32 h&r magnum and .32 long. Let me tell you my friends that .327 is no joke, I've loaded 85 and 100 grain, bullets that would get me close to 500 fpe. With my snub nose ruger lcrx. It has alot of power!!!
Love mine.😎👍
Great video. I’ve always liked the idea of the 327 Magnum. It’s just that the guns chambered in that round always seem to be made of “unobtainium”.
Aint that the truth. I had to watch a few places for months to find this Taurus.
@@ToolsandTargets I've been keeping an eye on a couple of sites looking for a GP100, a SP-101, and a Single Seven. I do like the cartridge, the 327, a lot. I had a Ruger SSM in 32 H&R that I liked too.
I have S&W 632 3" bbl in 327 FedMag, which is ported. The distributor Lipsey's just announced a new exclusive "Ultimate Carry" S&W J Frame snubby 6 shot 32 H&R Magnum that looks excellent - really good sights and only 16 oz. If we could just get some good 32 H&R ammo from Corbon or Underwood, that would be an awesome backup or light carry gun.
Appreciate you putting the red arrow on the final resting point on the .32. I know it is needed because it was kind of hidden with all of these other tracts, but I certainly wouldn't mind it if you did it for every test you do for consistency's same
Easy enough.😎👍
Thank you for doing this test! This is what I conceal carry with 32 H&R magnum Buffalo Bore ammo loaded in a Ruger LCR. The ammo is expensive but the performance is better than 38 special with the H&R magnum and a lot less recoil than a 357 when compared with 327 magnum.
@@justinappling614 I would love to get into a .327 Fed Mag. Odd calibers, designed to specific applications, appeal to me. So consider me somewhere jealous right now
Tools I carry a Ruger lcr and sp101in 327 fed mag very happy with them
It's a shame anything in .32 caliber is hard to find in my area. That 327 looks like a nice revolver. I enjoy the "Jelly Tests" keep up the good work!
Thank you sir. I managed to find a huge pile of .32 H&R at my local shop a few months ago but had to get the .327 online.
I carry an Ruger LCRx in 327 and my wife carries a LCRx in 32 H&R Magnum. We both tried 9mm and 380s but went back to revolver carry. Also have a Ruger SP101 in 327 with a Gemini Custom make-over. Love the 32's.
I have 3 revolvers in 327 and 1 in 32 H&R. I love them.
Nice.😎
I’m a huge fan of the new.32’s.
However, I’m running the 100gr XTP at 1,500fps from a 5.5” Ruger Single-7, and 1,300fps from a 6” Taurus Model 76 .32H&Rmag. Also, 1,250fps from a S&W .30SuperCarry Shield EZ.
For field and target utility loads, I use a 113gr FNGC cast over 10.0gr of #2400 in the .327, and 4.5gr of LongShot in the .32H&Rmag. I use the same die’s to load .32s&w (short) .32acp, .32S&WL (long), .30SuperCarry, .32H&Rmag, and .32FederalMag.
I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!
Interesting! I load all of those except the 30 Super Carry. I also load the original cowboy magnum, the 32/20. I get over 1350 fps out of my Contender barrel with 115 gr. SWCs with no over-pressure signs such as blown primers and smoothed-out headstamps.
I've long been a fan of the 32 H&R and jumped on the 327 Federal as soon as it was available. Since I handload, there's a much wider variety of bullet weights and styles available than what can be found in factory ammunition. With the right "recipe", both cartridges can perform as well as the best 38 Specials and the 327 is not dramatically less impressive than the 357 Mag. I favor the 115 grain Gold Dot in 327 Federal...13-15 inches of penetration from a 3 1/8" Ruger SP101 and a gonzo stretch cavity.
Nice😎
I have a box of those 115g 32's before they was discontinued. GREAT BULLET!!
@@cw2a I was lucky enough to snag a few boxes of the bullets for handloads before they went away. The possible good news is that they are manufacturing that bullet again for the 30 Super Carry, so it may make a comeback in the 327 or on the shelves for handloaders.
@@noahmercy-mann4323 I happened to buy. Didnt know or even realize they was discontinued till I ordered more and they was gone. They offer a 110 now no? I just know its not as good. I like Gold Dots allot. I
Thanks for producing the content on the 32’s
I am a fan of the 327 myself. Something you only touched on. The fact that you can shoot all four 32 rimmed cartridges, 32 S&W Short, 32 S&W Long, 32 H&R Mag, & 327 Federal out of the same gun. My wife and I both carry a 327. In addition, we keep one strategically placed in each of our cars.
Because we reload we can plink all day long for pennies. We usually reload 32 Smith & Wesson long for our muscle memory target work and general, plinking.
The Ruger 327 Federal LCR is the lightest and most concealable with the best trigger but at $650.00 it is pricy.
We have several Taurus and Charter Arms in 327s and 32 H&R’s which can be had new for about $350.00
There is a lot of discussion about holsters on the Internet.
Very few talk about the ability for a lady to carry in an over the shoulder soft sided pocketbook. The benefit while not often spoke of is the ability to shoot thru the pocketbook and not jamb like a semi auto would.
If walking in a parking lot at night we have her practice / train to have one hand inside the pocket book on the revolver. The pocket book is made out of canvas and does not print.
It is not only empowering g for her but reinforces the need to keep her SA dialed up in questionable environments.
Excellent trading for the ladies out there
I’m glad you did this test Tools! I was just talking to my pops about the 327 magnum. It’s a round I’ve never fired but it intrigues me. I love magnum rounds. I’d love to see more with it. Good stuff as always 👍🇺🇸
Thank you sir.😎👍
Enthusiasm for the Ol' .327 Federal Magnum has fallen dramatically in the past couple of years.... I have one and I love the dang thing!....
Mine is a Charter Arms Patriot... Not the fanciest of wheel guns, but does the job... The darn thing will shoot 32 Acp...32 S&W...32 Colt...32 H&R... and the 327 Federal..... It's actually pretty amazing.... Darn thing will touch off any 32 Cal center fire round I put in it....
GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS!
Agreed, I love this gun. The ammo manufacturers are to blame for it fading away. They're raking in so much cash from pumping out common NATO calibers that they surely aren't gonna slow down the money train to run any .32 rimmed ammo.
The only 32 cal I own is a 32ACP my dad brought home after WW2. The 327 looks decent, no desire to own one. Thanks for sharing Tools!
😎👍
The Germans used 32acp very effectively, IIRC even Gen Patton carried a 32 at times. If you train for head shots any small caliber will do the job, but centerfire is better than rimfire. My church gun is a baby vaquero in H&R because of it's accuracy. It is capable of groups that are the one hole at 10 yards, even with older eyes. If you have a Walther in 32 from WW2 it is going to last longer than any modern firearm shooting a steady diet of 327. It's not all about the high pressure high velocity when dispatching animals, a 22 short will take down a cow, or a hog if the bullet is placed properly. But if you shoot a 22 short you should slit the throat of the animal you are about to slaughter. In the hogs case they can regain consciousness.
Thanks for another great video. I just love the 32 calibers, and I often carry a 327.
Appreciate ya as always, my friend! Have a great week!
.327 Magnum is a very formidable round.
LET'S GO BRANDON!!!
Yessir. FJB!
I have this m327 Taurus a Single 7 and a Henry in .327.
I know these were designed for short barrels, but I have found that they work great in the longer barrels too.
In fact I don't like shooting anything over 95 gr out of the 2 in barrel.
But in the single 7, wow anything I have feed it, it loves!
.32 longs feel like .22lr in the henry.
All in all the .327 is a hoot to shoot, other than the price and availability.
I would love to find a .327 Henry for sale.
Results like these are why I carry Federal HSTs instead of Hornady Critical Defense in most of my EDCs. For .380 ACP and smaller, it’s Underwood Xtreme Defender. Hornady blows.
I wish more manufacturers made 32 revolvers.the recoil is very pleasant.
If the ammo was more plentiful, more people would buy them I'm sure.
I carry a SW 1901 hand ejector in 32sw long it is accurate and the recoil is very tame. But want an lcr 327 with 32sw long for carry just can't find them
Man, that 327 was tryin! Bet it'd get much bigger from a 4in barrel... That 32mag woulda prob performed better in a 4in too.
Would love to get into loading for the 32 fam someday. Esp with a good lever gun in 327, that'd be a very capable & versatile tool to have.
Great video, appreciate the hard work. Thanks again!
Thank you sir. Love to have a lever gun for it.
It has already been done. Its called 32-20 or .32 Winchester, there is a reason these things go away or people dont know about them.
I would also love to see a modern version in .327 fed mag, manufactures would never spend the money to do it on a commercial scale for the same reason 90% of folks dont know or care about the .327fm now.
Im sure you could get one done if you had the will n the $$$ to spend.
@@jacobwilbert1018 Henry has a .327 federal and it will cost a bit.
@@justme294 Yea Henry is a privately owned n operated company, they will do alot of neat things that other companies will not do. Everything Henry puts out is quality, they dont have a cheesy walmart model like most other big name investment firm owned companies.
They are the exception not the rule, I think they are worth the premium they fetch for what they produce and are willing to do for customers.
@@jacobwilbert1018 The 32 H&R Magnum runs neck and neck with the 32-20 Winchester. The 327 Federal Magnum puts both of them on the trailer.
Nice test Tools, you always seem to come up with some really interesting firearms & ammo to test. Can't say I've ever seen this firearm before or the ammo. But it's always nice to increase one's knowledge of what's out there. Thanks for the education. Have a Happy Halloween 🦇
Be vigilance, be safe
Thank you sir. Happy Halloween.
Great video, I think it was clear that the .327 hollow point is the one to get, and with a nice little revolver like that you’ll have an excellent defense package!
Thank you for making and uploading! 👍
That surprises me about the Critical Defense they usually expand very well whether it be though a barrier, clothes or nothing.
I've seen this before on other calibers with the Crit Defense. I think the polymer insert is sketchy sometimes.
Friendship WI. is less than an hour from where I live . I didn't know they had an ammo factory . I'm gonna check it out !👍
This seems like some really good stuff. Very consistent.
Hey, Tools
My .380 EZ is still pluggin' along. No problems yet and my accuracy is improving. I bought a .32 H&R Charter Arms 3 inch "Professional" they call it, about 3 months ago. I would love a Ruger SP but can't afford those, or a Taurus .327 but couldn't find any. Anyhow, that Charter shoots real accurate in S&W Long and in .32 H&R, using Fiocchi or Federal 85 gr XTP, respectively. I started reloading for it and it got better. I've only tested it to ten yards, so far, but will try 15 and (if I can see that far) 25 yds. But it's a hoot to shoot; I just had to come to grips with that "combat" sight.
Nice. I'll have to check that out.
You and Sam the Revolver guy have completely sold me on a 327 revolver!
I knew next to nothing about it a few months ago, but man it is a spicy little round. Hopefully the 327 TORO Taurus and S&W 32 H&R from this year's Shit Show spur some interest, I'd love to see these get more popular.
It would be interesting to see .32 S&W Long wadcutter for penetration comparison (a popular competition round). Pluses: Little recoil, good accuracy. Cons: No expansion, spotty availability.
Yeah, I'd have to find some bullets to load up myself I imagine. Not much variety of .32 long factory ammo.
The HBWC are pretty easy to find online. I believe Luckgunner had a couple choices. Winchester and Federal have pretty good reputation.
The S&W Long is a sweet little round.
@@ToolsandTargets Buffalo Bore has .32 longs. I'd like to see how that compares with the .32 magnum with a 2" barrel. Longs have very minimal recoil and police used that calibre for many years in the US and even longer in Europe.
@@MrLanternland I need to order some more 10mm from them so I'll have a look.😎👍
@@ToolsandTargets They have .32 longs, two varieties, and they also are the only place I know of that has .32 magnums for sale.
By the way, Charter Arms tech said using Buffalo Bore in their .32 magnum revolvers can cause "catastrophic failure". Presumably he was talking about the BB .32 magnum. It's quite powerful.
I carry the Charter Arms Patriot six shot stainless steel 327. Supposed to be 2.2” barrel but when I measure from then cylinder/barrel gap I get close to 2.5”. At 21 oz it’s 8 oz heavier than the Ruger LCR but makes recoil more manageable. Still not too heavy for concealed carry. Maybe not as nice as the Ruger SP101 but still a good little gun. You have to hoard brass and hand load. I practice with 85 grain JSP switch to 100 grain JHP for every day carry. They don’t shoot to the same point of impact at 25 yards but at 7 yards and under it’s close enough.
I think they both did good! 327 won for sure lol! I would like to see you run about 5 more rounds of the 32 mag crit def in the gel when one doesnt expand like that, to see if it was a fluke or if they all act that way, maybe half expand half dont? I expected it to do better with the tip! I wouldnt be skeered to use it though! :D Thanks and have a good one!
It doesn't surprise me that it didn't expand. I've seen it do this before, I wanna say on some .22 mag. Seems like the smaller bullets by them aren't nearly as good. Unless I hit the bottom board or it goes out of the gel, it's always gonna be a 1 shot deal with me. If I could get 5 times the views I would shoot 5 times the rounds, but I can tell you for a fact from someone who watches these YT analytics like a hawk, people simply don't care when it comes to watching or not..😎👍
Any chance of a comparison between these and 30 super carry? Especially with the clothing barrier I would be curious
😎👍
Thanks for testing these cartridges.Keep up the quality work.
😎👊
I have a Cimarron Model P Jr in 32 H&R. I keep hoping they will come out with one in 327. I wanted to buy a Henry 327 lever action rifle, but did not for two reasons: 1) I couldn't afford it, and 2) Nearly impossible to find. So, last year I bought a 327 Federal Magnum barrel insert for my shotgun from Chaszel. It's an 18-inch barrel and works great!
Very nice! I'd love to have a Henry in .327 but yeah, nearly impossible to find.
I have a Ruger signal 7 in the 327 it has a 6 inch barrel .Very accurate I'm loading a 100 grain cast swc powder coated . At 1500 fps . Love this pistol.

Nice.😎
Just bought the Taurus 327 and am waiting for ammo to arrive. Have shot the Charter Arms 32 H & R mag, but was not able to determine accuracy. Appreciate your testing on them.

Great stuff brother! Love 'em both. Still have not found a new Taurus .327 in my area. Hoping they release a 3 inch model.
That would be pretty slick.
Taurus did, have one bought new from a gun store in 3"stainless ported
Since 2014 , they had some in blued version, but I don't think they made or marketed a lot of the 3", have seen most in 2" barrel, pawn shops are the best places too find them, 327 magnum pistols seem hard to find, Ruger and charter arms i believe still make them, charter arms also had a 4" 7 shot
Estoy viendo video del 327 Federal Magnum y me encantan los resultados, más allá de que siempre me gustaron los calibre 32 para revolveres
Es un calibre muy capaz, pero la munición es difícil de encontrar y cara aquí.
Another good one! Big advantage is an extra round capacity. I'd stick with a .38 Special with a 100 or 110 HP though. Bigger bore size to begin with.

Ruger LCR in .327 rides around town with me on a regular basis. It is becoming one of my favorite carries. It is well known that .32 ACP will work "sorta" in a revolver except you have to poke the emplties out with a stick. I have been wondering if .30 super carry would work in a .327 since they both use the same diameter bullet and are both high pressure rounds. Might be a fun video if you can find .30 super carry ammo.
I have hundreds of rounds of 30SC ammo. It's piled up on the shelves around here because they can't give it away. I have a video with this revolver running all 4 of the rimmed rounds and .32 auto from it. The ejector will work with the 32 auto on this gun as long as you don't tip it sideways. If you do that, the rounds fall under the extractor and then you have to poke em out.
As for running the 30SC in it, that's a no-go as it is. The rim of the 30SC is only .341" diameter where the .327 mag is .367", so it falls into the cylinder. I suppose you may could make some moon clips for it but I don't think I'd try it personally unless I had a string tied to the trigger from a distance. I doubt any current 30SC ammo is loaded even close to max but it's capable of 52,000 psi. The .327 is saying a max of 45,000 psi.
Dang tools, you keep showing up with these sweet tools and I keep adding to my wish list LOL , good test thanks for sharing

Nice video., I’ve been meaning to get a bore camera like you have, the one you showed us where you look down the barrel of your 22 Sigg. What company was that? I’m not trying to spend a lot but since I’m into military surplus, it’s important for me to see if it’s rusted before buying.

Hello brother! Love the 32's. I shared this one on my channel.

@@ToolsandTargets I think your subbed you aughta see it! In Community pages.
Both would give you a negative attitude, but .38 special has pretty light recoil even out of my polymer snubby, so I'd certainly go with that, BUT I do like seeing videos on these more obscure rounds. Like he pointed out its a cool gun and I think any guy that likes revolvers would want one UNTIL they see the price of ammo and actually getting the gun. Charter Arms actually makes a .32 as well, called the Professional, its 7 rounds I believe.
Yeah, it's a shame the ammo isn't more available. My local shop actually just got in one of these in black that I'm very tempted to buy just because you never see em.😆
That is a way underloaded 327 round....I get 1,500+ fps out of a four inch revolver with my handloaded 100 grain xtps, 100 grain Federal softpoints, and 100 grain Speer gold dot factory ammo. You should at least get 1,200 to 1,250 fps out of that snubby. Horrible example of 327 ammo. The gold dot ammo will give 15 inches pentration, and expand to 55 plus caliber out of my 4 inch revolver. I do carry mt S&W airweight with Hornady 110 grain +Ps...but if I had my choice, I would much rather have my six shot 327...MUCH more formidable weapon than any 38 special...period..full stop.
Hopefully S&W will take up .32 caliber again!
That would be pretty nice.
Check out the 327 mag ammo from
buffalo bore and Speer. Both have great / powerful options.

I love my SW M-631 with 4” bbl. Much lighter than my 38 M-10. Easy to carry in the woods
If u can get ahold of some Golddots thats where the 327 shines having 13-1400 fpc thats why people really like the 327 along with low recoil & an extra round
I've got some super spicy Federal Hammer Down rounds in .327 Mag also.
I get 1,500 fps with 100gr gold dots out of my 4 inch Ruger SP-101. The 100 grain Federal soft point do 1,500+, as do my 100 grain xtp handloads! Leaves a 38 special in the dust! The gold dots will get 15 inches penetration and expand to 55 plus caliber!
I love my .357 Magnum,.. But, Those .32 caliber rounds are interesting indeed… as always, excellent video.🤠

Yeah, there is quite a bit of unburnt powder from these snubbies.
It’s 5-card draw and 3’sand 2’s are wild. Winning hand goes to the .327Mag. Nice test. Interesting to see the results from .32 caliber pistol ammo. I don’t have a .327 but very interesting little pistol. Thanks for sharing. Be safe. See ya soon. 😎🇺🇸

That bad ass Mr. TOOLS haven't seen .327 mag in a jelly test.
Thank you sir.
Have a Taurus, stainless 3” ported 327 magnum since 2014 and it is one of my EDC, and have various 32 magnum rounds, and 3 types of 327 magnum, and 32 long, and this is the only Taurus I have seen in a 3”and bought it,
Have seen most in snub nose Taurus ,Ruger, and charter arms,
And back in 2020/21 saw a couple of Taurus snub nose pistols
Most of the shooting videos , I have seen have been mostly with the ruger ones
Would like to see some done with the 3” and see what the results are 👍
Haven't seen a 3" locally. My local shop does have another one of these 2" Taurus models in black that I'm tempted to buy, just because you rarely ever see them in stock anywhere.
🇦🇺😎👍Lol I don’t give a hill of beans or however ya say it 😉…..1057s healthy…..the 32 would give the burglar a chance to run away….better than a 22….I think the 32 needs a few extra grains of powder ……great honest test Sir….have a great week big fella🏁🤠🇺🇸
😂😂😂 Thank you, brother!
Federal makes a 327 hydra shock, I would love to see the performance of that
That .327 revolver seems versatile in caliner choices: .327 Federal, .32 H&R, .32 Long, .32 Short.
I know an old guy who said in his wild and crazy younger days was shot in the chest with a .32 Short.
He wore a leather jacket that stopped it and they man who shot him dropped the gun and ran!😂
🤣🤣🤣
@@ToolsandTargets thug life story from a 60 year old man. 😎
I have a Ruger single six in 32 h&r magnum. Great little cartridge to shoot but can be expensive if one doesn't load their own. I load my own.
Absolutely
Just need a 327 Henry now.The Wisconsin ammo did well. Out of a 4inch it would be good. Still like that Taurus & recoil looked soft in it. Good job again. 🇺🇸 🙏 👍
I'd love to find one. Very consistent stuff on this Wisconsin ammo.
@@ToolsandTargets Just me but I think you Reloaders can really bring out the best of the 32 H&R and 327 Magnum. Factory loads are a little soft because of insurance & quality of some guns. CW might agree on that. 😃 👍
Interesting review as always. I was wondering if you would do a review on a 9mm insert into a 12 ga. I've been thinking of buying a rifled insert for my single shot. They sell for around 30 bucks. Thanks for all your reviews. I have a Heritage Barkeep as my EDC, as it's so light and concealable.
Thank you sir. I haven't done much studying on those. I'll have to take a look.😎👍
Thanks for giving 32 and 327 coverage !!
😎👍
Waiting on the Ultimate Carry from Smith !
You sir are a beast.
I have a 32 h&r magnum but I really haven't seen much on that 327 magnum.
😎👊
Great test Tools! Been interested in 327 mag for awhile, just haven't bit yet. Good to know about Critical Defense. Been keeping it in some of my 380s and 9mms
😎👍
This was great! I pocket carry a .32 H&R in the summer months as a backup, and I tend to load it with Hornady Critical Defense. I figured it's ballistically about like a 380. Thanks for the info, Tools!!
😎👍
Another great test I'd have to go with the .327 mag.if I own one..🇺🇸
Thank you sir. It's a great little round.
Be interesting if the .327 came out of a short barreled lever action!
Henry makes em but they're nearly impossible to find in stock anywhere.😣
Yes you right, who ever loaded those 1st loads did a very good job lol Hey Tools! I been very busy lately but most definitely going to catch up your videos I missed. Good video by the way brother
Thank you sir. I noticed you were on a binge watch!😎👍
Very interesting, Paul Harrell released a video today on .38sp from a snubby. The winner was the 110gr. Critical Defense, nearly the same ft/lb energy as the .327 Mag but stellar performance in his "meat test". Considering the cost and availability, the .327 is a big "nope". Probably a great round in a carbine for small game but so is the 17HMR. The .327 is a niche cartridge, much like the 30 super carry. There are good reasons it will remain so.
😎👍
It looked like it went through on the 327 through an actual hole that had already been made and it went side by side through a channel from a previous bullet making it look like a big moon channel you need to get some gel that is fresh and do the test over again
Both rounds done better than I thought they would
Mhmm
I have the Taurus 327 and carry either Speer Gold Dot or Federal HydraShok
Nice😎
I have a Taurus ♉ stainless ported 3 " 327 magnum revolver,, was looking for a 32 magnum revolver, but they had several different ones, from Ruger, charter arms and Taurus, but they also handed me a blue one and a stainless in 2" and the 3" ported in
327 magnum, the one I have now, best choice I made, back in 2014 , but I can still get plenty of 327 and 32 magnum ammo and long, but all are more expensive, but mostly just shot 32 magnum and long, but
I buy some of each and just keep storing them more than shooting,, but I keep my 327 loaded with Speer gold Dot 100 and some 115 grain, for back up to some of my other options, but thought about getting another one in a 2 " stainless, my Taurus has been a excellent pistol and I do carry it in a pocket carry holster and 4 spare speed loaders, or in a cross draw carry, with my Glock 33 gen3 or my 40
G2C
When I was younger, I liked the 396 and 427. Then I gravitated to the 350. But the old boys remember the 409…
Oh, wait…..🙉🙊🙈
😆😆😆
, Great video as always.Gotmy new savage 22Mag . Old man is Happy 😊
Nice. Thank you sir.
If it isn't hurting your hand they are wimpy rounds. That 327 is a wicked round.
Thanks for yet another entertaining and informative video! I still think that the ".32 Magnums" would be great cayote, and in the right hands, a decent small deer rounds IF fired from four to six-inch revolver barrels or better yet from a 20-inch barreled carbine/rifle such as a Rossi R92. And before folks go all "ballistic" on me they should look at how popular and effective the old .32-20 was, and still can be. Sadly, I can't recall having ever seen any firearm chambered in .32 Magnum (Federal or H&R) for sale in our area much less a single box of ammo in either loading. I'm sure I could order a revolver and ammo through my favorite FFL, but I would love to pair it with a lever gun like the R92. Take care, keep the great videos coming, and Happy Halloween from the Macko del Rancho, Estate, Compound, Free Fire Zone, and Fortress of Doom!
Thank you sir. I'd love to find a Henry chambered in .327 Mag.
Outstanding comparison, Tools. I never knew much about those two. I might look at a little longer barrel version of your pistol if i can find one.
Thank you sir.
The most important thing to remenber is not all these new fangled calibers are available at every store...
Dayummm it's got to be jelly because the jam don't jiggle that way time...
The 327 did well, I have a suggestion to help you aim your shots while using the clothing, take a piece of paperboard or cardboard and make a stencil that is the same size as the block with 4 even squares, two on top and two on bottom, place the stencil on the front of the block and spray with yellow paint or whichever color you can see the best and you will have 4 reference points to aim at, Let me know what you think. thanks my friend. 👍
😎👍
@@ToolsandTargets So, Do You Think My Suggestion Would Benefit In Testing W/ Clothing?
@@josephpacchetti5997 Probably being a lighter color for sure. I just don't think I wanna mess with paint on top of everything else I got goin now.
@@ToolsandTargets Sounds reasonable, you could use something other than paint, but It's your range and I respect that, just trying to help.
@Tools&Targets I guess I had better subscribe. I noticed today that I watch more of your videos than coincidence can account for.
It's about time!😎👊
@@ToolsandTargets I may arrive late and battered, but eventually, I get there! ;-)
No go: Most new pistol sales are semi-autos... not revolvers.
Very few 327 Federal revolver options.
Very few 32 ammo options.
Ammo is expensive.
Most people don't hand load.
357 dominates the revolver market.
😎👍
Looking to buy a .32 or .327 one for my daughter, which brand has the lightest and smoothest trigger pull?
Not bad but I think they use tougher bullets for the 327 I'd like to see some 32acp bullets loaded into the 327 instead
😎👍
I'm not sure they could handle the velocity, My 7 1//2" single seven is pushing 115gr hard cast at 1400+. It is darn close to 357 but a whole lot louder.
I’m in the same boat with you Tools I’m surprised with that short barrel
😎👍
Have 2 Ruger single 6 in 32hr and single 7 in .327 fed with 6 inch barrel. Love the but ammo is hard to come by. I do reload the .32hr though with lead round nose to save money.
Nice. These loads from Wisconsin cartridge seem like some good ones.
