I have always loved this song, her voice was so beautiful. I just wonder how many times I’ve played my copy of this. I just wish that it could have gone on for twice as long. It still sends shivers up my spine to hear.
Just reminiscing about the great Sandi Shaw version of this B&D song. So interesting to hear what the lyrics were supposed to mean but when so beautifully sung by a young Woman surely "How can I forget you, when there's always something there to remind me" can only mean one thing! I believe that to involve a baby! (Just me?) I would imagine this would not have been a wholesome understanding of the lyric for the industry at the time, but as we know, so many lyrics told stories way beyond the official stories!
