A truly beautiful song with great joy and sadness to make it unforgettable. Like some one else said today’s music is just NOISE with no redeeming values.
Me too thinking of much less drama in life and those who've already passed on...especially those who were in the greatest generation were still with us!!! However I'm still a proud baby boomer!!!
The best music ever played in the 60s and with meaningful words not like todays screaming song who is listening to the best of the 60 today in 2024best ever🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Esta cancion bien triste y muy linda de esta cantante sensansonnal y tan linda y su voz tann linda eya era parte de las british invasion, que descanse en paz.
I went to see Petula Clark in 2014 at Newcastle with my nanna and dad. She died on the 16th of November 2021 aged 79. This song makes me think of her. I miss her so much and a year has only gone by but it still hurts without her
Love and respect for this great lady and my favourite singer from India from the city of kolkata...I do understand your feelings.....Petula Clerk..you will remain in our hearts forever
Probably the most saddest parting song ever. Beautiful in every way
@Nadina_Maria_Louisathank you 👌❤️
THIS SONG proves once and for all , undoubtedly and absolutely that....
Petula Clark is THE Greatest Female Vocalist Of ALL TIME.
...........and then you hear the Connie Francis version.
This is a real heartbreaker. So powerful fifty-odd years later.

Music today is nothing but noise. So glad I grew up in a time when music was beautiful....
You certainly got that right...music today is a head on train wreck!

You're 100% right.
I actually sang this song after we broke up and I was walking her home I thought for the last time...
She became my wife a few months later.

Hahahaha. Your parents said that about 60’s music. ITS ALL RELATIVE.
Thank you for sharing this gem from Pet Clark. This is her signature song. Never tired of listening to this classic.
This is probably the first love song I had ever sing along with my classmates in 68.
