this one was ordinary. we had a raw front shot from the hangar (kinda lame) and no subtile clues about the upcoming additions. i cant wait to see what details will be bugged when the client updates

People that have played the game for over a decade have a lot of natural sentiment with the progress it's made. Then some of us have sentiment and or real world attachments to what's being said in the trailer. You're just pointing your finger as if you don't look goofy in doing so.
Man I love Troy Baker's VA/narratting, it never dissapoints me. From voicing Joker, Robin, Batman and many more. Now he is narrating in a WT trailer.

I just came back to rewatch this trailer, and I realized something. 1:17 is a refrence to the Drone Age trailer...
This is the best trailer they have made to date. The feels I get from seeing that Eagle flying above, then revealing the F-15 right after, sunset behind it. Dude every time I watch it I get tears in my eyes, it’s just breathtaking
And to think we were blown away when the F-16 and MiG-29 came out, and now this

Troy Baker is one of those VAs that you forget has done everything under the sun. Just from his TFWiki page along, he's done Jetfire in Tranformers: WFC, Yuri Lowell in Tales of Vesperia, Excaliber in Soul Eater, Kanji in Persona 4, Pain & Yamato in Naruto: Shippuden, Joel in The Last of Us, Greed in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Batman in various games and movies.
And now Gaijin can put a celerity on their list, if they ever use him again.

I feel like a true veteran seeing this, looking back at how far this game has become, I remember playing armoured vehicles back then during its beta, and now we are getting the latest up to date vehicles. Good job war thunder! :)

@@dalelumina3 No it has / it's not. Design and Aerodynmics, yes - technologywise never! Putting a original Su-27 (or an F-15A) with it's og equipment against any modern fighter and it will be shot out of the sky rather easily.

Started playing in 2012 (The Old Guard gang where you at?), it’s crazy that over 10 years later, I’ve watched the game go from unlocking the Catalina and Buffalo to now Eagles, Tomcats, Falcons.
From Yak 1’s and IL2’s, to Mig-29’s and SU-25’s.

It is not. Just look at the state of the game right now. You get missile-ed from 15 sides constantly. The game isn't good even for the actual SARH missiles, it willn't be ready for ARH missiles too so.

@wdkpwr6586 that isn't the MIG 29. That's the Su 27 Flanker. Also showed off are the F-15, Mirage 4000 and Gripen. These aircraft mark the new dawn of air combat in war thunder.

Having played the game since not too long after it first came out, this is by far the best trailer I’ve seen so far. Phenomenal work
This seems almost like an Ace Combat trailer with the narration, either way it’s absolutely beautiful.
When they reveal the F15 and Flanker in a dogfight its an AC reference.
It’s AC5/ACZ very specifically. The radar closeups, the half-black screen with tall thin text, a cockpit-to-cockpit flyby, all references to the Razgriz duology.

Which strv? The 2a7 was never in Swedish service. We can hope for the STRV 122 B+ as well as new cv 90120s

@@misterragnar2521 Its the strv122B+ at 0:35 look at the top of the turret has the same layout as the 122a you can also look at the main gun if it was a 2a7 it would’ve had the longer barrel like on the 2a6

@@rxzxqx6982 he served many years as a Technical sergeant. I think it means he had like a barrel mounted grenade Launcher on the bottom of his M4, and he would be like a Heavy Weapon Operator. He was also a green beret! Special Forces. He took a sniper round in the leg, but recovered after years.
Again knocking it out of the park and I'm just going to say it this is Probably the most anticipated update we have received and this is one hell of a way to round out the year.
