Don't get me wrong, I liked the A10 trailer, but that one guy really sounded like Kermit the frog which was a bit anti-climatic. At least with this one you have native speakers doing the voice acting which sounded awesome! Also, the female dispatcher sounds like the Russian computer voice in DCS.
The first half of the trailer was stunning. I loved how there was an ominous tone but yet somehow all the vehicles had an odd beauty to them. The second half reminded me of Ace Combat/ Top Gun and that's a good thing :D

one of the MiG-21 pilots I know in real life had lost a squad mate who did pretty much what Rook-1 did in this trailer. He said there's a saying to "never turn back on a target" but I guess his squad mate wanted to "save face" (in embarrassment for missing his target) but got shot down by the SAM site. He wasn't heard from ever again. EDIT: since people are asking, his home base was zeljava airbase which had nuclear proof hangars built into the side of a mountain. Flew a variant later than the F (he complained about it being plagued with issues, and he was unfamiliar with the cockpit layout of it) and left before he got a chance to fly the bis variant, ~70s to late 80s. He also had other interesting stories like for example they never used brakes because it was cheaper to pay some women in some village to knit a new parachute than to replace the brakes.

This is the first war thunder trailer I have ever seen, and man it makes me honestly feel so much emotion and I love it. Granted the emotion is sadness, but I love it because it made me feel such a strong emotion, and the music only adds to it. The music adds so much more to the emotion I’m feeling.

@@waitholdonwhat28 I have nearly 3000 hours in the game and cold war jets are fun, but I always find myself back at props. They're far more dynamic feeling and every plane feels like it is balanced (for the most part) you'll find jets, do not have that same quality or consistency.
This trailer make me realise we need more pilot reactions. The heavy breathing during high G evasive maneuvers like in the trailer would give the game more of the feels, you know.

@@hayden3830 a campain would be neat I know one exists but... It isn't that much of a campain but just vs AI missions with more functions. I want a campain with voices, feelings, some stories. A campain that could help you grind the tree. If it was fleshed out enough i would probably not hesitate to pay 60$ to access it - but it would require Call of Duty levels of fleshed out. Enlisted won't ever reach modern era, and doesn't have as much range as war thunder

I would absolutely love Gaijin to start making in game full length movies or series; they could easily make content based on all past conflicts using their assets, WW2, Vietnam, the Cold War, Afghanistan & Iraq, or even create their own scenarios from the nations, imagine a series where the US decides that it wants more territory so decides to try and take Canada which forces UK and it's territories to declare war on the US with the support from other European nations like France and Germany. Or they could go another route and make documentaries recounting peoples experiences during past conflicts before those stories get lost in time, as their not as big or impressive to be covered on the big screen. Another feature I would love from Gaijin is for an in-game museum. They could travel to Military museums around the world capturing 3D scans internally and externally of aircraft and tanks so that these amazing pieces of history are available to a much wider audience. Like I would love to travel the world and look at them myself but that will be impossible to see them all.

my favourite teaser of all time right now love the way the attitude completely changes when it pans the noses of the su-25s and then the ominous tone of the song just gives you the Willys when you first listen to it I would love to have a full rendition of it.
I've said it before, and one more... While I've had disagreements with things their company does with the game, their trailers have certainly improved and their marketing team does great work.

War thunder is not a team game. Winning vs losing is not as important as doing better than your teammates and letting them do worse because of how payouts work. Not to mention most of the game's monetization is about owning exclusive vehicles, decorations, titles, and paint jobs. Without disparity, there is no self-expression, which is where WT makes their money.
That Gruppa Krovi remix is incredibly beautiful! Gives me a lot of nostalgic GTA IV vibes. I'm more of a DCS player, but i'm considering grabbing WT just to see if i can get my hands on a Frogfoot.

SU-25 has always been one of my all-time favourite aircraft, just because of it's looks and I love strike aircraft

I honestly love all these cinematics the War Thunder devs do. They all have a story and make you feel like you're watching a movie
its not devs its relatively new people hired only to do these.
They put more effort into the cinematics than they do with fixing the game

He also had other interesting stories like for example they never used brakes because it was cheaper to pay some women in some village to knit a new parachute than to replace the brakes.

This is the first war thunder trailer I have ever seen, and man it makes me honestly feel so much emotion and I love it. Granted the emotion is sadness, but I love it because it made me feel such a strong emotion, and the music only adds to it. The music adds so much more to the emotion I’m feeling.

@@waitholdonwhat28 I have nearly 3000 hours in the game and cold war jets are fun, but I always find myself back at props. They're far more dynamic feeling and every plane feels like it is balanced (for the most part) you'll find jets, do not have that same quality or consistency.

I know one exists but... It isn't that much of a campain but just vs AI missions with more functions. I want a campain with voices, feelings, some stories. A campain that could help you grind the tree. If it was fleshed out enough i would probably not hesitate to pay 60$ to access it - but it would require Call of Duty levels of fleshed out. Enlisted won't ever reach modern era, and doesn't have as much range as war thunder

I would love to have a full fledged movie done like this... i can understand that from a teaser perspective it might be underwhelming for some people, but from a artistic point of view its just incredible.

I would absolutely love Gaijin to start making in game full length movies or series; they could easily make content based on all past conflicts using their assets, WW2, Vietnam, the Cold War, Afghanistan & Iraq, or even create their own scenarios from the nations, imagine a series where the US decides that it wants more territory so decides to try and take Canada which forces UK and it's territories to declare war on the US with the support from other European nations like France and Germany.
Or they could go another route and make documentaries recounting peoples experiences during past conflicts before those stories get lost in time, as their not as big or impressive to be covered on the big screen.
Another feature I would love from Gaijin is for an in-game museum. They could travel to Military museums around the world capturing 3D scans internally and externally of aircraft and tanks so that these amazing pieces of history are available to a much wider audience. Like I would love to travel the world and look at them myself but that will be impossible to see them all.

Yup, it's a shame that this isn't a feature of WT. COOP missions or something, anything similar with specific objectives and dynamic outcomes.
War thunder is not a team game. Winning vs losing is not as important as doing better than your teammates and letting them do worse because of how payouts work. Not to mention most of the game's monetization is about owning exclusive vehicles, decorations, titles, and paint jobs. Without disparity, there is no self-expression, which is where WT makes their money.
