@@shark7313 Because we already got the F-14A, and we're getting a 2001 version of the F-14 before the 70s version of the F-15? The F-15A only has 9L and 7F my guy, and makes a lot of sense to come right now.
@@GeneralLee2000 So because you just want the F15, which did carry up to 8 120s, it should be added instead. The same jet that has the best radar out of all the jets. Because the 2001 F14B is to strong, with it’s better performing engines and 9Ls okay. Totally makes sense!

I still play it for fun. It’s long past its meta days, but even sitting next to f16s and the mig29 in my hangar I still find myself picking it when I just wanna forget the grind and enjoy a plane. I am very biased. And I’ll do the same with the hornets when they show up in a year or two.
I finally got it, and immediately got hit with the wholesome stock grind experience. I have to research aim9d for the 4th time in the branch and somehow make use fo them in 11.7. at least i got flares tho

I’m a casual WT player, have been for a couple years. I’m still on props, JUST short of jets. And the more I see jet gameplay, the more it doesn’t look fun. Dogfighting in props is so fun and is 100% skill. Shooting a missile from 4km away and hoping for the best just doesn’t seem like a good time
I feel like its different for some people that came to wt for the jet gameplay and just enjoy it more, but i also fully understand prop dogfighting is super fun.
Been playing some 8.7 - 9.3 stuff and a few props, which I hadn't in a while and honesly...I don't think I can go back to top tier. Game's actually fun on those brackets, believe it or not lmao
The sad part is flying high anymore is out of the question due to the ER missle so the aim54 being buffed is pointless really because i dare you go to up high and try n loft those missles you will not be alive to see all any of the hit. Myself personally i stay on the deck and only die to IR missles now days mostly r60s basically every missle can be defeated on the deck besides the IR missles once your out of flares....next game please
i hate it. i just unlocked it and i hate it with everything i have. flares are pointless because you can't dodge 9l's or r60mk's without dumping your throttle to 0 and losing all your energy, and then getting another 9l or r60 shot at you with nothing you can do. It burns through fuel and is barely faster than a phantom. it is awful. i truly cannot stand it and will never play this piece of absolute dogshit again.
Gaijin should add a prestige system as I think TEC suggested and you need prestige 3 to be aloud to use AIM-54's, too many idiots just yeeting those things around

I got the talisman for the F14 and the F4J when they were on a 50% off sale.
The funny thing is, I love the F4C as it is early enough that the missiles don't have amazing performance, and it requires setting up properly

Just don’t be discouraged, jets are certainly a process. And the lower tier ones are a little less fun than 8.0+

The way I stock grinded it was by playing it as a bombcat until I got 7Fs. From then I played it as a fighter

If you're playing germany the mig 15 bis and mig 19s are nice, no missiles. Only powerfull guns and excellent power and handling.
Early jet are a blast. It becomes a chore above 8.0 but 7.0 is one of my favorite BRs
