Your cinematography is so beautiful and with the music just delightful.. and you are such a lovely guy as well....😎
Once again I strongly agree. Is videography and photography your daytime job Cody?
Looks a beautiful city, a people and culture that has inspired the world and the fabulous royal family Wow the queen of England Londons residence, you were that close...
I'm a born breed Londoner. My favourite thing to do is walk along the Thames. You discover something new everytime. Great video. Love your cinematography
Thank you for all your videos. I went to London last year. I am a brazilian and it was my first trip ever. I was alone, and was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had. I miss this city with all my heart. Maybe I used to live there in another life, who knows? Haha I kinda believe it, because I always had this particular craziness about London and couldn’t really explain it. When I was there I felt like “omg, this is my home”. I just find your channel here and I’m really really glad to see your videos. Just love it. ♡
Glad you had such a great time here! you're welcome back any time
Your laid back manner and professionally shot pictures are a joy to watch. Top notch and always interesting. Love from the UK!
I discovered your beautifully filmed works today and felt compelled to write to say that I have lived in London all my life (62 years) and want to thank you for reminding how lucky I am as it is easy to become complacent when you see it every day.
In the words of Dr Johnson, a man who is tired of London is tired of life
I suggest if you have time on your next visit you check out Hampstead and the side streets as I think you will find it as charming as I do
It is a lovely thing that Cody does.
Old London town looks so beautiful. Been there 3 times and this feels like the 4th time.
I already want to go back!
I've lived in Central London for over 10 years now (I'm English but not a Londoner) and over time I've hated living here but watching your videos of London has made me start falling in love with it again. Thank you 😊
Amazing video. As a Brit we don’t always appreciate what is on our doorstep. Brilliantly video showing London.
I Think the London tourism board needs to have a little think about a sponsorship deal!!!
Your love of London shines through your videos, glad the weather was kind to you, happy travels.
I really could watch your city walk videos all day ,they are not only fantastically well filmed and edited but you come across as very genuine in your love for exploring the place, its architecture and more importantly the character and feel. Very well done, I enjoyed it a lot.
What a magical eye you have. The next time you visit England try getting out of London and do the countryside and villages, your eye will overload with beautiful images.
I have to say, again, your passion, love and photographic sensibilities make this my favorite London travel Video. You rock. Nick from Tottenham. Your choice of locations are perfect. The music makes it.
Aw man, I really hope one day you make it to The City. It's a true architectural journey writ into stone and glass and concrete - it's simultaneously the oldest and newest part of the capital. Ancient churches (117 of them), taverns, pubs and protected alleyways, first mapped out - as in all the roads there - by the meandering paths of cows to their watering holes 2,000 years ago, rub shoulders with amazing new architecture and contemporary art squirreled away into every conceivable space, whether its a bunch of speakers taped into a tree or statues of lost children. By weekday 570,000 people cram it into the Square Mile, by night and weekend its a ghost town (the churches put on the services at weekday lunch times, and close on Sundays). Next to it to the east is the hip East End, head for Brick Lane market on Sunday to see London at its most interesting, and most rewarding for those who venture into nooks and corners and winding alleys.
I really enjoy the enthusiasm evident in your pieces on UA-cam. In particular, your eye for a great photograph - and London has a lifetime of incredible photographic scenes and architecture to capture. Keep up the great work and stay safe in your travels my friend. They are appreciated.
Fun fact: I live in Poland, Cody is from USA, but on the same day we were both in London in similar spots :D how small the world can be!
Haha awesome!
I love your infectious love of London! I lived there (alone) when I was 16 years old, and I never once felt unsafe. I live just outside London now, but it still takes my breath away every time I visit 🥰
Loving your work Cody. Makes me feel very proud to see how much London is appreciated by you and other UA-camrs I've been following recently.
Very well done. I want to go back. I am waiting until Big Ben is uncovered.
This video is so amazing The Shots, Colors and music is fantastic ♥ THANK YOU
Love your videos, so glad you love my home town. If you’ve not been, the next time you’re at the Tower of London, go up into the walkway, it has a glass floor and it’s cool to watch the cars and river right underneath you. Happy travels
I'm sure some one has already mentioned that you hear "Big Ben" it's the bell that counts the hour. The clock tower was originally called "St. Steven's Tower" but since her Majesty's diamond jubilee it has been called "Elizabeth Tower"
Spot on
I can really relate to the way you appreciate London. Your videos are so beautifully made
I like South Kensington with the Albert hall and the Natural history museum which is beautiful and looks like a sort of cathedral to science plus Kensington has some cute houses.
Excellent vids and fantastically filmed. Showing off our great city and how beautiful it is
I'm so glad you came back in the Summer, even for a quickie. You did my favourite walk, although I usually do it the other way around, starting at London Bridge, up to Tower Bridge, over to the South Bank, and down to Westminster. Of course being a Londoner I then have time for other bits like Oxford Street or further West towards Notting Hill. London is a walking city, so glad you are a walker, trust me, lots of tourists are not and they do like to tell everyone, lol. The South Bank area with the street entertainers has some of my favourite buskers (fave Pre-Raphaelite flower child Charlotte) some of whom put their songs on UA-cam. And see... we do have blue sky long sunny days as well, just not at Xmas, lol.
Hey what a nice guy you seem, Love your videos of London i am 43 and spend 40 years of my life living 20 miles from London, now i live about 50 miles from London. One of my fav things to do is walk round London
Cody - you have the most exquisite vision for architectural vistas. Warms me with the beauty you find in very (to us) ordinary street views. The Millennium Bridge you went across - when it opened, the banging of visitors'feet caused it to sway alarmingly. It was nicknamed "The Wonky Bridge". It had to be closed and strengthened so that patterned footfall couldn't destroy it with the vibrations.
It’s so great the way you embraced London! Makes me proud of my home town again ! Take care
London looks like the hobbyist street photographer's dream city!
It really is!
Hi Cody. For me this is one of your best videos. You really captured that part of London so well. I love your joy at the end when you had such a good time on such a short stop. You lucked out with the weather too! Congrats on a great video.
Hey man another great video. A few tips for your next trip to London check out seven dials, Covent Garden and Mayfair. Think you’ll like them! 💪
This channel deserves so many more subscribers and views. The video work is stunning. It must take an age to edit.
Beautiful! I miss London so much! One of the best cities in the world. It's looking grander than ever and constantly changing, which is great to see. Awesome camera work, Cody... great job.
Hey Cody, just discovered your channel. Love your style and content, as well as your deep appreciation of London, which I share.
Beautiful video of London, and I always like the music you choose! Thank you for sharing your trip.
Thanks so much!
My City! You made London look beautiful with these shots Cody!
Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic video please comback to London this summer
You, sir. Simply amazing. Come back go London and visit other parts of London too!
Big ben chimes are also silenced (except for very few occasions) What a wonderful video, I really do think this is award winning. I used to love walking along The Strand, so again, this is it, we are off to London for the day! All very, very well done.
Thanks so much!
What an awesome video. So well done! You made me feel homesick. Thanks for sharing your trip.
Cody rewatched all your London vlogs I miss them
I'm more of a rambler/hiker/camping in remote places/get me back to nature, person. But, for those who love cities, London is pretty special!
I have to admit, it's got the edge on Newcastle. But, don't tell anyone - I'll get my Geordie passport revoked. ;)
I am a southerner, i love London but had an amazing time in Newcastle! loved it!
At least it was sunny for you this time :)
Love this London video the best out of your series. Really got to see a lot of sites in a short amount of time.
You certainly know how to make London look......AMAZING!!! what perfect weather too!
Really nice vid, thank you for your kind comments about my city 👍🇬🇧
Thanks!
I love your videos, they're so well shot, at least you had SUNSHINE at last yay!!!
Thanks so much! This was a PERFECT London day, amazing weather!
Very good. Three happy, laughing people make it enjoyable. Thanks.
That was an exquisite video Sir!!! It's cool to see all the opportunity's that are opening up to you!!
Thank you!
Your filming skill is awesome. Also you chose the best music. May I know who the artist is please?
Loved hearing your post New York move London thoughts. Crazy how different it feels, hey?! Great shots. Loved it
Thanking you friend!
Great to see your perspective on London. I take it for granted as it’s on my doorstep. You saw lots in 12 hours. Great vlog.
Thank you!
Im a late comer to this video but i love the optimism, the positivity and the wonderful soundtrack.
Stunning camera work, well done.
You make absolutely beautiful walk through videos of London - it looks so pretty through your camera lens - a lot prettier than when I have been lol - but then the walking finishes me off! :O
You walked so far! No wonder you were tired. Loved seeing your perspective of London, makes me want to go back there soon! :)
My health app says I walked 6.5 miles! Thanks!
London is so much cleaner than it used to be.I need to get out more!
I miss your vlogs!!! Where have you gone? And I love how you capture London.. I wish you would move here 😥
Amazing shot Cody. What a beautiful city!
Thank you!
I appreciate your videos very much. Thank you! Just to say that Big Ben is actually the bell which strikes the hour in the Elizabeth Tower. This Tower was named after the Queen on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee (60 years on the throne) in 2012. It was formerly known as the Clock Tower.
This video was lit
It's a complete reconstruction of the Palace of Westminster costing between £4 and £6 Billion, apparently. We all thought it was just your basic rewiring job. But no. It's a total rebuild in some parts, extreme renovation in most. Taking between, wait for it, 25 to 40 years. So, yeah: wait for it!
Super video Cody. Safe travels
Thank you!
Next time check out the giant museums (such as the Tate Modern you passed), they're all free.
i love London as well.I don't know if I could even pick a favorite part-love the museums, love the squares and gardens, the bridges the palaces-the old world charm, but then you have the Shard and how cool is that?. I had to smile when you said no Starbucks, then immediately one was there. What about the number of Costa coffee's (my find when there), Nero's and Pret's?
I’m ready to go back! Haha
Great vid, love London, my favourite City, could you tell me what the background music is plz.
Hey Cody, I love your videos! Can you do a video about self-photography? How do I take cute tourist-y pictures if I'm travelling solo? Cheers :)
Fantastic job showing off the beautiful city of London. This has gotten me even more excited to go!
Thanks brü!
Hi Cody. My favourite places in London are the Trafalgar square, walks exporing the the Thames and the observatory associated with the Grenwich Meridian. (GMT 0).
Awesome!
Being a Capetonian, living in London for last 12 years, who is obsessed with NYC.... Man I can’t wait to see your videos from Africa. That was a little convoluted, but anyway, I’ve lived in London for 12 and this video made me realise what I take for granted! Enjoy the rest of your trip. You’ll love Cape Town and Zimbabwe, my father and sisters were born in Zim, so this is all very twisted haha
Haha that’s funny! Thanks!
I love your vids man
Hey Cody. Really cool video! What song is this in the background? I love it
You're so lucky to be at that time! Can you share the album?
Love your channel. If you could choose London or NYC, where would you prefer to live
When I went on the London eye a few years ago it was run by British Airways.
awww if you stop by london next time, maybe I can bump into you :) Good luck with your filming!
AND THERE ARE JUST SO MANY RANDOM PEOPLE SAYING HI IN LONDON!
I didn’t even show all of them in the video! So many nice people!
What’s the music?
Pity you had no time to go to Covent Garden....always worth a visit💖
Guess I’ll just have to go back! ☺️
What an awesome video. So well made. I was in London last fall and your video has me wishing I was there right now. Its like no other city on earth. Thanks for posting.
Thanks!!
Interesting fact! There were structural issues and an accident I think with the First design of bridge which gave j.k.rowling the inspiration for the death eaters to destroy the bridge. I learnt that on a Harry potter walking tour of London. I would recommend it, it was full of facts I did not know. Not sure if they still do it though as it was two three years ago.
Why have you stopped making videos?
Excellent videos
Thanks!
Hello mate I've just found your vlogs and they are very well made
Have you been to Paris if so can you make a comparison vlog between the 2 great city's
I would be very interested to hear and see your opinions on both and which is best
Ok cheers mate👍
Haven't been to Paris yet! Top of the list!
CAN YOU DO TOUR FOR NEW YORK?
Who's the song artist?
Beautiful editing and beautiful music. I have never been to London, would love to go sometime. How did you land this awesome job of making a film in Africa?
Thank you! Got the job through connections from Tulsa.
Another great city would be Berlin. I would definitely recommend a few days in Berlin!!! The City is so nice and beautiful and there are so many spots where you can film or photograph. I’ve been there now a few times and I really can’t get enough of this city so I would definitely recommend that. Maybe you and Sarah can make like a Europe trip or something
We would love to!
Yo Cody how you doing man ? As a Londoner born here I am so glad you enjoyed your short stay in my City OBTW Great over music Best wishes
Thanks so much!
Cost of the Parliament renovation? £4 Billion. They might as well burn the bloody thing to the ground and start again. Wouldn't be the first time (it would be the third, actually).
What camera you using as must have 5 axis
Links to all the gear in the description, camera is Canon 6D and using a gimbal for some shots
Harry and Megan did actually invite 2400 strangers to their wedding so the old boy might just have been telling the truth.
❤
Nice! :D
When you live in London you take all the sights and culture for granted. After living for 37 years in the US I realize that no place is utopia.
❤️❤️❤️
☺️
great vid - but was wondering why you had an Apple tattoo? Are they paying you for advertising? Just a thought...
i like the horses
bastard! i'm uber english and no longer live there, your vid made me homesick. love baby
