Ive got three of these brand new all stock that I was too afraid to fly for same reason (parts). I will spool one up for a quick hover but not sure I would trust myself to take tis inverted LOL Thanks for the video👍
I have a complete 450 3D with case and a almost complete 500 3D that I'm looking to part ways with. The 500 is missing the tail case assembly and the 450 has some corrosion on it sadly... perfect for these classic birds if you want to have some parts
Dude I got the same exact helicopter and the same exact reason like you said I don't like to fly too much because they don't make parts for it like they used to but I'm sure most of hk500 parts are compatible with any way you're an awesome flyer keep up the good work
Guy says “imma fly this nice n Easy” he starts slowly then proceeds to “Fly the hell” outta it, hahha, nice flying!! Question how did you learn to fly it? I have one of these used in box, sitting for years, I was gonna sell it, but I’m not sure if I should keep it. It looks So cool, way better than a drone. Why did they discontinue it? :(
I have not been flying helis very long, I started with fixed-wing back in 2010 and only started flying helis in 2018. I just jumped into it headfirst and started off on a Blade CPX, crashed a lot but I kept at it and taught myself how to fly. I now fly almost everyday so I get a little better each flight lol. If you can get a decent buck off of it, I would personally sell it just because they don’t make parts for it anymore, and the newer flybarless stuff is so much better, so if you wanted to fly helis I highly recommend getting a newer heli.
@@chuckyvee2672 Blade still makes helis, they are more value-based intro helis but they are great for what they are made for. I would recommend the Blade 230S RTF, you get everything you need to fly. They have progressive learning modes built into the flight controllers that is called SAFE. It lets you learn how to fly with three different modes. You should definitely look into it.

@@mangzrc okay cool, which exact ones do you recommend? I didn’t think they still make heli’s... I’m not even sure what flybars are.. lol

Very nice. That is a bummer about helis in that you eventually have to upgrade just because of the need for parts.
Great video 🤪
