When u put the plastic into the tube did u have any problems because mine keeps getting stuck?
Yeah it was hard to feed it through. I had to push it really hard and had to have another person pull the opposite end of the tube. The best way to do it is measure it and feed it as you need it.
One thing i just thought about after installing. For the door lights. Rain water isnt gunna break them? Cuz its outside the door seal
Mine are still good even after rain or washes. I don’t think the water gets in there like I thought it did. You’ll be okay too brother 🙌🏽
Strange title for led lights but a useful how to for a quick bodge job install. How about doing a quality EL Wire professional fit where you get an even glow the whole length of the wire.

How many extra strips did you have to buy to get everything?
None the link I provided comes with 5 light laser things. 1 for left door, 1 for right door, 2 for middle and 1 for lower center area where the shifter is.
How do I connect my red and black wire to the battery for my LED lights , and also do I have to use a wire connector or can the wires just touch the positive and negative and work that way
I didn’t directly wire them to the battery. I just used the cigarette lighter.
@@Ajpstreetsthank youuuu I ended up connecting it , it was actually waaayyy easier than I thought , this was a question for the UNDER GLOW 😂😂 but I end up figuring it out my Malibu is built a certain way where you don’t have to use anything, I just made the wires touch the battery and it worked fine

Nah long as you turn them off. I usually turn it off whenever I leave my car for long periods of time. I’ve left them on overnight once and still didn’t die, but chargers do have two batteries. I’ve had the lights for 2 hours now and no issues 🤞🏽

Im having trouble getting the led wire thru the clear strip lol they just get stuck at one point and when I think I’m pushing the light strip thru it’s just in the same spot. Anyone experience this?
Yeah bro it’s really common. Have someone hold the strip straight and tight (as if they’re pulling it. You see how I did it in the video. My buddy was holding it straight out like 10 feet away as I was holding it and pulling as well as feeding the clear thing through it. Hope it makes sense. Lmk if not

One is enough for front doors and dash. If you trynna do back then yes you’ll need 2 most likely.
Why not get separate small ones for each door and run it to the bottom light on te door.

Yea, best thing to do is buy one with more light bulbs (I seen one with 9) or buy one with the standard 4 bulbs and usb plug in instead of lighter plug in

appreciate you bro! Did you use 2 laser things for middle portion or just one? On mine I used two separate laser light things “silver thing with light in it” that’s why it’s bright. So if you have one it won’t be as bright

The app has different settings explore the menu from bottom and it has a lot on it

If you’re talking about the clear tube and that clear plastic thing goes in the tub. Yes you can cut those. DO NOT cut the black wire. Both clear plastics things are not related to any wires so cut em. If anything hmu on instagram @ajpstreets

@@bravorizo2527I just put the strip over the dash. Pretty line it up how you’d install and cut little longer so you have extra if you mess up or anything.

The whole point of these leds is to make it look factory but if u not going to remove the panels and install it properly then don't do it at all because it just looks so terrible and noway near factory.

Comes with 5 in total. I used 2 on doors, 2 on dash, and 1 on middle console. If you want to do back doors you’ll have to get 2 kits.

I can't seem to feed the wires my wires from the bottom through the steering wheel any idea what I could be doing wrong?
So if your steering wheel is all the way up put it all the way down. There is soft leather material that has a big hole in. You can stick your hand in from top of the steering wheel through that leather piece. And with the other hand put the light/wire from below and pull with hand on top. You gonna have to use both hands and make them meet in the middle. If this doesn’t make sense hmu on Instagram @ajpstreets and I’ll send you a quick video of it

I watch this video several times. I bought this product and tried to install it in my 2021 Kia forte gt. I tried for about 10 minutes and I gave up. I felt like i was destroying my car a little bit. Its very difficult to make it look Factory. I dont like the idea of opening the doors amd seeing wires. Theres not alot of places to install the product. Its hard to bend it around curves and edges. Also, the whole point in my mind was to light up the floor. This wont do that. You will need to buy another set of lights for the floor. I'm returning this product and just getting the light bars on the feet. Great video though. Very helpful. I would do this on an older car, but not my mew car.
The floor lights are called ambient lighting kits, and they are much easier to install because they literally just stick under your seat with double sided tape. These wires are also easier to hide because they don't run along the door and don't need hidden in the door panel.
Yeah I’m not sure how Kia’s interior is but I know for a fact that dodge they fit perfect. But yeah floor ones are super easy and can’t be noticed. And thank you for the feedback & support 🙌🏽
So I reinstalled these in a 2011 Camaro and got damn is it so hard to wire these with all the sharp curves. The wire is hard to hide because it’s a couple and I kinda felt like I damaged a bit of the interior. Other than that it look good though. Aside from the shit exposed wires.
Yeah I could’ve hit the wire but tbh didn’t even wanna put all that work in. And yeah feeding that clear thing through the tube is hard. Definitely a two person job.
@@Ajpstreets did this drain your battery? My shit tanked after like 2 days. I’m not sure if it’s the LEDS itself or the double cigarette charger port I bought from Walmart. I think it’s parasitic drawing my battery even when the engine is off.
@@Kenthetic ummm I’m not sure bro for me the lighter thing came with a button to turn off and on. Also just make you turn the lights off and try unplugging it after use and see if it makes a difference. It could be the Walmart dual lighter.

i ran the ones i did thru the door grommet all you have to do is drill a hole to fit the plug thru and the rest of the wire and light is hidden inside the door panel
