    OMG, the foundation chain plus the first row of single crochet makes so much sense! It stabilizes the center and makes it easier to continue with the granny stitches. I'm so glad I found this video.

    The first color you did a chain 2 to form your corner spaces. The second color you did a chain 2 forming that first corner but from then on you were using a chain 3 when making your corner spaces. So which should it be when making the corners: a chain 2 or a chain 3 ?

After getting brain fog from the cvid shot, I thought this a brilliant idea to get a few brain cells back. This should be second nature to me but I need to slow the speed of vid down to 75 and still pause,still rewind
      It's that 3rd row corner and how to continue on that really has me stumped
      The color change came too fast for me to see how those important corners are. I've never flipped a peice of work but I am going to try. Wish I could join you on FB but I'll never go back there for security reasons. hugs to you. 🫂 🤗

      Make a Slip Knot with the new color: ua-cam.com/video/oS1H7ckM2CA/v-deo.html, bring that knot through any space/ST where you want to join. Hope this helps! 💕👋

    Hi Is this a sample size for demonstration? Or do u always start with 20 for this pattern?

      Hi, the example blanket is a throw size. You can adjust the starting row with even number of chains for any size you want to make. 🙂💝

      When u have time would u do a short demo of this with one color, (No color change) and turning? I’m ending up in a different spot than where your color change is. Thx!

    At 9:57 you say chain 3 for a corner but I thought it was always chain two for a corner. In the corner right before that you said chain 2 is why I’m confused

      You can do either. But stick with which one you choose throughout the pattern. Hope this helps! 😊💕

    How long does this typically take to make?

    • @crochetmelovely
      @crochetmelovely  4 місяці тому

      It would depend on how fast you can crochet + how much time you spend crocheting. It's okay if projects take a while though. The process is fun 💖✨

      @@crochetmelovely I was wondering more about how I would continue with row 3 when I have to flip the rectangle. When I flip it the way the corner stitch is facing at 7:00 is hard to work with I feel I have to slip stitch across so that I can comfortably work in the back (which Ive tried…didn’t go well 💀) I hope this makes sense cause I couldn’t think of a better way to ask the question 😭

    I have a question! Why is it that in your first "corner" you only CH 2 and not CH 3--video and written pattern--like the other three corners? Also, the center of your blanket looks the best of all I have seen! Thanks for sharing!
