I have a Fluval 207 attached behind the false wall on my IM Fusion 20. Actually the results were amazing it made my tank more stable. By adding more filter pads and bio media than what you can fit in the back chambers. No reason for a sump on my build.
There’s better canister filters available from the likes of Fluval or Oase. I’ve been running a 55 gallon reef take for 3 years with two Fluval 307’s. I have happy and stable tank so I don’t think you need a sump. If you want a filter for water polishing then just by a cheap non-branded Chinese filter would be my recommendation .
@@BRStv They sound like a good way to go Put in some rock rubble from your display tank with some other types of filter media and you would be sorted with a decent filter system. Thanks lads for the reply. 👍🏻
Sicce uses the standard 12/16 tubing for the lower gph models such as the whale 120 and whale 200. The 16/22 tubing though, is used on models that have very high flow rates
I always used to go with eheim until they started manufacturing industry china. The quality of eheim classics and other filters other than the pro 4 are manufactured in china yet sicce is made in Italy. That's why I go with sicce now.
I'm so glad I looked at the comments because I was going to ask if anyone has experience with both this filter and the Eheim Eco for purposes of comparison, but I guess you just answered for me.
Nothing new and a waste of time such a hassle to deal with. Just pitching a new filter for Sicce really marketed for fresh water. The canister concept for saltwater has been around for along time when saltwater keeping was just starting out way back in the day just like an under gravel filter LOL. But the canister keeps leaving on. They are great freshwater aquarium filter. Not a fan of half ass reef builds either do right or don't bother. Agreed maybe a chemical filter add on to a reef tank with a built in the back filter.

I use two canister filters on a 90 gallon it’s worked for sps lps soft corals for 2 years
Same situation in my mediterranean tank. Only dsb and 2 canister filter with Classic biomedia. 👍
How's this differ from the Whale series? Other than shape, how the baskets stack, and an extra extension for the outlet, what am I missing?
It's cheaper
The music totally reminds me of the game Pilot Wings for Super Nintendo! I am showing my age
Oh gosh, great game!
Oh no! BRS bringing canister filters back!
So this would be perfect for a bubble Aquavision 25 saltwater tank 👍🏻
been told by support after mine failed they are best suited to freshwater systems

Can I use this for a waterbox cube 20? @bulkreefsupply
How wide is the tubing?

I love Sicce, but damn does this thing look like an Eheim Ecco rip off.
