Thank you for sharing 🙂 I would mention that you can daisy chain a finer filter to the second canister with biomedia and other as needed and will vastly improve the system to changing water less and hardly any changes if any at all nitrate issues which doesn't seem to be the case . Just a fyi if you didn't know you could do this . Works pretty well according to many Japanese friends I have that have had a saltwater aquarium for 30 years . But all tanks are different 🙂
Great comment. I've never actually owned a canister filter but that makes perfect sense to me! Do you do this? I've just never used a canister filter because I just get a sump, but for all of those people coming over from the freshwater side of things, this is great!
I have recently upgraded my tank to a 75g with sump it’s pretty neat system but I find my self tap off the tank more recent. The water is evaporating very fast. Is this normal for sump system? Thanks

So i have 3 chambers in my AIO and a tiny hole at the bottom face of chamber 1. Do i put the cap or the filter suction cap looking? There is a sponge with a tiny circular slit that matches the cap end. Also i received small blue balls as well as larger black balls with what i think is a carbon media. Where do those go? Finally 3rd chamber has return pump.

@@MyFirstFishTank no but friends of mine have done this for years . Depends on the brand you get a model of canisters , they aren't all the same .
