Different engine, different car, different tune. N20 will never respond or sound the same as an N55. This video is directed more towards those with an m2.
The burble thing HAS gotten out of hand. I have mine set on oem style so it’s more of a crackle and clean sounding.

100% agree regarding the burbles. My current tune maxes out at 3 pops, and its still a little much as it does it after EVERY downshift or every time I let off the gas.

I'd suggest a linear throttle map? It makes a difference when it comes to that initial take off. My 235i did the same too until I went on my mhd and made sure the linear throttle was checked and it makes a big difference when it comes to throttle control. At least to me and imo.

Wow I know this video is 3 years old but its kinda the info i was looking for. I have a F10 535i and plan on doing the basic bolt on's and wanted to know if it was worth it to get a custom tune or just get the OTS tune as this is a daily driver and just wanted some more power. I already have a high HP 350z and know how much a pain that is to drive on the street.
The GT4 and 911 cabriolet were very cool. I was wondering what tune you use for daily driving.

Agreed on the over the top burbles. I have burbles set to .07 seconds on Medium. Also get little burbles and just 2 loud pops on MHD in my F30 335i.

@@ThicWhips man I'm hearing cars produced after 7/20 have a new DME that's not possible to unlock so no reflashing. That would be a huge disappointment. Can you confirm or recommend any other options for tuning?

If anyone can help with my burbles on my f30 n55 pls . My car only burbles/pop in 2nd gear and low 3rd gear anything else car will not burble At some point my car was backfiring almost everytime I downshifted
U can adjust the speed the car burbles at so try extending the speed!
