A superb bike as an all-rounder! I can tour on it and also keep up with anyone! The handling and braking are superb! All the power you will never use though lol. I went one stage further and has it pointlessly retuned to honour the blade engine lol.

Hi and thanks for the review of this bike. I got the exact same model as you have in the video and in my opinion it is absolutely brilliant.
I did test drive the blue one previous to getting tje bordeaux red. It fit me like a glove. I live near Newcastle city centre and the city driving was posisbly what hooked me. Such a comfortable bike. Im.6 ft 2 - 17 st and this is only the 6th bike ive evwr owned. I also have a 2023 CB500X and the CB1000R makes a hell of a contrast. I've no desire to kill or maim myself on a motorbike and am taking adavanced motorcycle training to help me.get more out of this bike - i only passed the MOD 2 this April.

I love my cb1000r black edition 21 plate (seems you tested one) but as far as I can see no different to the 21 edition except painted tank and “non black” styling. The reason why there are rear foot pegs is you also have the option of a pillion seat. They can be removed. The temperature is the engine temp not ambient. You need to accelerate to 60 plus in 2nd to get a real flavour of the engine. Under 4000 it’s sedate., The biggest down for the bike believe it or not for long distance you mentioned. No cruise control….. come on Honda! Also why have they not put on the wheels the beautiful metal silver cut outs as on the black edition…..that has boring black wheels!
Sorry but if your going to test this bike please ride the b…… thing properly. it’s a naked 1000cc roadster! Then she comes alive lol 😂

@@theloftybiker3090 sorry but 20 to 60 in second gear joining a motorway or dual carriageway is not breaking the law 😂 there is no speed acceleration law in the uk. Show me what the bike can do lol. 😂 Don’t think you took the bike above 4k revs 😂😂😂

Cracking summer (somewhere in the north of England)? Ambient temperature of 56 degrees centigrade? In the shade in my vegetable patch (somewhere in the south of France) even the tomatoes are wilting this afternoon: 33 degrees centigrade.
Expecting my brand new Black Edition in three week's time. The CB1000R is good isn't it, but were you running the bike in, TLB? You can always put duct tape over the incriminating evidence.

Entirely pointless amount of power/acceleration if you are going to stick to the legal limits. One brief blip of the throttle and you're already there. Not fun, really.
thanks for watching Paul...there are many pointless bikes on the market today....some even more pointless than this one....90/100bhp is plenty for Cornish roads....not sure where you are?
Can l ask why your even here..or even looking at bikes..stick to a pushbike but be careful going down hill it may be too fast for you.!!
